00:00:29When I travel, I always like to talk to the Lyft driver. I was never really able to talk to taxi driver. So Lyft is giving me A New Perspective and new learning about what's going on out there and what drives people to drive all day, mostly because that's not particularly interesting to me. I hate sitting in the car. I came back from Portland recently and I was tired, I had had a long weekend, it was coming on the heels of having worked for about 14 days, in a row like 9:30 at night, call the lift, then miss the, are you going to come pick me up? So I watched as the car looped around the airport and the Misty Island again.

::

00:01:15But I saw the car because I saw a second time. So I decided to just like cross through traffic and try and head this car off on the off chance that it actually was my list.

::

00:01:38What's it like?

::

00:01:47She was a neuroscientist. She worked with mice studying alcoholism. And whether alcohol had the same effect on mice as it does on humans was interesting because I learned that it might really have no interest in alcohol naturally. So they had to breed the mice in order to have them. Currently. Enjoy alcohol makes me wonder if the studies really going to reflect how humans like alcohol.

::

00:02:25And then she stopped and said.

::

00:02:30Burnouts. Just another word for depression.

::

00:02:52reflected depression, maybe not clinical depression, but

::

00:03:05yeah, just depression because if it prolongs long enough, I think it could be clinical depression.

::

00:03:20And then she went on to tell me that.

::

00:03:29She said, Neuroscience tells us that.

::

00:03:37My driving list and being very creative, anything to get her mind as a burnout. She was experiencing as a neuroscientist.

::

00:04:19Does that sound like burn out?

::

00:04:28It certainly can become burnout.

::

00:04:37When I quit my job and started my business.

::

00:04:53And then I thought about the present day and all the stress. I see around me and sometimes experience among people who are

::

00:05:05I wonder if it translates.

::

00:05:17Getting up and going to work. That's burnout.

::

00:05:33Go play with your dog. Go play with your kids. Hide your spouse. Talk to a friend.

::

00:05:48and,

::

00:05:55Because you're worth it.

::

00:09:36Please welcome Rose to the show. Hi Rose. Welcome to women conquer business.

::

00:10:41What it is that I really wanted to see you. And I knew for a living before, I started medical school. That was not until I heard anyway, but it was torturous to be need to be doing something that I knew was not my purpose even told me, I let that go. And when I asked her to sing, all of the different Beast of my life together and seeing the Fred, the tragic girl, the president elected everything together, and it works out well for one. I really, really enjoyed enjoyed business. I started my first one Prospect when I was in college, and I love chocolate ice cream, and then building something out of it, and I might have my mind has also been strained. Since I, I wasn't trying to talk to you.

::

00:12:41Temperature in Charlotte.

::

00:13:15Absolutely, and I think that it takes a great deal of courage and bravery to do that to realize that your original Dream wasn't serving you, but you can serve people in another way. Exactly. And yeah, it's so worth it. I mean, you are out in the world. You have your own business, you're making changes supporting people who are making change. So it's worth the ride for sure. Yeah, absolutely. And I always say this every day, every day, since that decision. I get happier and I feel more aligned. I feel that you exactly how I feel that I am in the floor that I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to be through it. So it's been, it's been wonderful, so far.

::

00:15:16Empower people to do is to create an environment or a product that allows you to adapt to changes very quickly in a way that is soft, and it has been a lifesaver for a lot of garbage companies. But small companies are not using it. It's like the best that I found to be able to cut costs and power companies that do needed to have. That looks like that looks like 30 from starting from starting from Pollo and how your employees are working instead of spending nine months, creating an idea that you have. And then by the time you lost it you realize oh, no, the world has already moved.

::

00:17:16Be in front of your giving you a negative feedback. Instead of waiting months again for you have visibility into that mess with her so that we can prove it. So it's really really been invaluable for a large corporation. That is very rarely that I can start out small companies, use it and that's kind of what it was and I apply the same principles to Brandon. Brandon is something that has to be

::

00:19:11Is the dictionary.

::

00:20:15Dial are socially conscious that I consider being better for the evolution of the United. So, under under, you. Keep throwing up and not using witch.

::

00:21:24Yeah, I mean and when I worked in Tech project management, a lot of what we did was called waterfall development, which is that really long drawn-out process and I can tell you, as the project management person. I was getting tired of stuff before it ever went live. I think it gets boring after a special one for you. They have so much work to do that. If you don't mean to the fishing for them, they are going to be it's going to start being burned out and then that's going to change a how we show up.

::

00:23:13Arthritis, but it is registered as a communication between the founders of people on the line. Spray, for everyone involved to get my work. And, and what's happening when I was

::

00:23:40You said, scrum? I think that is a great tool, these daily check-in meetings where you encounter a problem and you are talking to the team who can help you the most you're sharing and somebody else's like oh and then they give that Insight. Do you find it? That's one of the big ways that

::

00:24:45Absolutely, especially if you are a Purpose Driven organizations, you can't have that. And also what I find something, just for my own startup. I also want you to figuring out what it is that I wanted my conditional with them. Sometimes Lead, You astray as a person. So when I first started my mission follow along with the work with other missions and Company, but then I started talking to other advisers who is actually not a great idea instead of my own intuition and was trying to figure out for the tax collector and eventually happen the way.

::

00:26:0180 hours a day and still feel tired. You still feel energized number walking in there, has to be your intuition and apply. I think that means I have to go spend some business, but I just seen Tommy High School in the world. Better than just following additional price. For a used to be very different from and what their mission is. So it has the longest take me to Woodstown.

::

00:27:02Oh man there. So many things hitting my head right now.

::

00:27:19Exactly exactly. A person I was inclined to to, to do that as my default because I was thinking, okay. Well, they know what they're talking about until I think a lot of therapy and all this money.

::

00:28:21but what you think, you said that you had started to experience burnout, I experienced burnout and started my own company, and she said, I

::

00:28:54Fat felt better spot on. Yes. Exactly. It is depression about what you're doing because you don't you don't, you don't, you're not inspired by it. It doesn't mean anything to you. Just feels like just doing a bunch of work with Jen. You're not going.

::

00:29:52He said, it sounds like you just keep going and be at the best thing for me.

::

00:30:23the first thing I would say about that is

::

00:31:27The my way over, I think I'm a little bit too much from the other. Okay, do whatever you want. And they will tell you that if it was a very different, we are working at the movie, High School and body with your compassion and other people and alignment.

::

00:32:50Yeah, if you want to create a mortgage company that is giving opportunities to people. I don't know and South America and then you come to the office, just bossing everybody around and not even really given his abilities and a partnership of their work in DC. Like they are truly part of it.

::

00:33:53Absolutely. So you started in Wellness as a doctor, but you haven't exactly gotten rid of that all together. Would you like to speak about how you're still active and wellness and help? So, I'll disappear. If I didn't actually become a doctor, I stopped before I got to go. But yeah, I mean, I'm still very fast meeting, but I'd love to talk to you that. I was studying, I said behavioral Neuroscience. I did quite a bit of research and I love and I love that. And one day so far from me is mental mental health, mental wellness, and say something that write this type of society getting comfortable with. I don't even in the u.s.a. Station around me, makes me happy to see how far is somebody that has to be done with.

::

00:35:53Brandon Burton Mi to walk to get the right and merging. This sounds interesting to see what the best of the best of the other people in the US are there are many things are. So how do we make sure that we forget that we are using the technology to?

::

00:37:19I totally agree.

::

00:37:49Everybody needs a therapist. Even if you had a wonderful childhood, you have a wonderful family. Something is going to cause drama within your being here. And so you should go to a therapist every week.

::

00:38:22Helpful, helpful. Yeah, you ever been to the first and seeing what's happening in the world about that?
