In this episode, we talk about goals. Some people hate the idea of setting goals because they always fail. Some people claim that just living day to day with whatever presents itself is the way to go. My experience teaches me that goals are useful and even powerful, but only if they are good goals.
Good goals are that serve. Goals that are only for my own pleasure are tricky things. What do I sacrifice by only looking out for what I want? A better goal is to train what I want to be developing my gifts to serve you more. Goals must be specific, time-bound, and contain a commitment to do whatever it takes to deliver. Otherwise, they are wishes. When we continually fail, we learn not to trust ourselves.
