Speaker A:

Hello, everyone, everywhere.

Speaker A:

Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.

Speaker A:

Welcome to the Faith based business podcast today.

Speaker A:

We're so blessed you're joining us.

Speaker A:

We've been doing a deep dive these past couple weeks on how to choose a niche for your business, your podcast, whatever that case may be.

Speaker A:

We're going to continue along that same vein today.

Speaker A:

Praise God.

Speaker A:

We're looking at the cancel that we're looking here at today, how to get some ideas to test out.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

You got to come up with some ideas on profitable niches.

Speaker A:

You know, if you're launching a podcast, trying to grow a podcast, trying to launch or grow a business, you know, I just pray you're getting a lot of information out of this series.

Speaker A:

Today we're going to discuss on how to get ideas to test and the last few sessions, like I said, we share some ideas with you where you can look at what people are doing and buying offline.

Speaker A:

Another place you can look is bookstores and local bookstores in your area because you just go check out the magazine rack and check out what the shelves are that have, you know, multiple copies of books because that's, that's what's hot right now.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

You get ideas for topics there as well.

Speaker A:

Another place that I found that you can look that works really well for giving you ideas is late night infomercials.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I didn't believe it either until Sean Myers told me to try this several years ago.

Speaker A:

And you won't believe the ideas you can come up with.

Speaker A:

erything out there, you know,:

Speaker A:

02:00 a.m.

Speaker A:

03:00 a.m.

Speaker A:

it'd be worth it, folks, just to skip us sleep for a night or two and just watch all the late night infomercials, especially if you're struggling to find a niche.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Take a notepad.

Speaker A:

Have it right there beside you.

Speaker A:

Have a pot of coffee.

Speaker A:

Get, you know, when your notepad and ink pen.

Speaker A:

about every other channel at:

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

more at:

Speaker A:

ily wakes up at, you know, at:

Speaker A:

or whatever, you've gotten:

Speaker A:

You need to write down the website addresses and all this stuff so you can check it out later online.

Speaker A:

I mean, you probably, you'd have probably at least over 100, maybe 200 different infomercials.

Speaker A:

They're related topics and where you can look at to go get all the information.

Speaker A:

Then you just kind of sort them out.

Speaker A:

You group them all together, you know, 100 we're on this topic, and I forgot to move that over there for you.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

You know, 100 beyond this topic, another 50 on this, 175 on this one.

Speaker A:

Another 55 on that one.

Speaker A:

But altogether, you now have some great information for you to look at.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

And that information gives you a pretty good idea of what people are buying in the middle of the night.

Speaker A:

Well, brother Bob, that I'm not selling stuff.

Speaker A:

Midnight.

Speaker A:

If you got a website, you can.

Speaker A:

If you got an online presence, you can.

Speaker A:

If they're buying it in the middle of the night, they're probably buying it in the daytime, too.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

And remember what we covered a session or two ago.

Speaker A:

If advertisers are spending money on ads to promote these products, there's a pretty good chance they're making money at it.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

So somebody is buying these products in these niches.

Speaker A:

And if you can zero in on which one of these niches would work for you and your products and your services, why not give it a go?

Speaker A:

Hey, man, I mean, that just makes complete sense, doesn't it?

Speaker A:

Now, one thing to know, though, if you're buying, if people are buying on an infomercial, they're also probably buying on Amazon.

Speaker A:

They're also, if they're buying it on an infomercial, they're probably also buying on somebody's website somewhere.

Speaker A:

Like I said.

Speaker A:

In fact, if you pay attention, take good notes, you'll find that out.

Speaker A:

With so many of those infomercials, there are websites associated with them.

Speaker A:

The infomercial really is just one branch of their selling platform.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

So, for example, if you do a web search on the name of the person in the infomercial, you might find that they have a book to sell.

Speaker A:

They have a seminar they're selling.

Speaker A:

They have dvd's and all these other products.

Speaker A:

They have something on Amazon.

Speaker A:

They have something on Shopify.

Speaker A:

The infomercial is just one sales channel they are using in their business.

Speaker A:

So if you can find it on the infomercial, it's almost a guarantee.

Speaker A:

It's probably selling somewhere else, too.

Speaker A:

Praise God.

Speaker A:

I hope you got a lot out of this short session we had today because that's all the time we have for today.

Speaker A:

I don't want to dive into the next session, but go ahead and put on that pot of coffee, stay up and watch some infomercials, get some great ideas.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Next time, we're going to continue looking at more sources of information where you can go and see what niches are hot right now.
