Shownotes
When you see a house hit the market, you probably think about price, location, or maybe what the kitchen looks like. But sometimes that listing represents something much bigger happening behind the scenes. Divorce can mean dividing finances, possessions, memories, and often the place a family once called home.
There are even real estate professionals trained specifically to navigate property sales connected to divorce, which says something about how complicated these transitions can become. A home can feel like stability, security, and a foundation, until suddenly it isn’t. So when the things that once made life feel settled begin to shift, what are we actually standing on?
Scripture (NIV): Psalm 18:2 – “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.”
Reflection Questions:
How much of your sense of security is tied to places, possessions, or circumstances staying the same?
When life feels unsettled, what helps you remember where your deeper foundation is?
