GTM2 – Temples of the Living God–
Eduardo Elizondo – 1/31/2026
In this profound and uplifting message, Eduardo explores the deeply sobering yet inspiring reality of what it means to be "Temples of the Living God." Mr. Elizondo begins by contrasting the physical tabernacles and temples of the Old Testament with the spiritual reality of the New Covenant. He emphasizes that under the New Covenant, God does not merely dwell among His people in a physical structure; through the power of the Holy Spirit, He actually dwells in them. Throughout the study, Eduardo guides us through key scriptures in Corinthians, Exodus, and Ephesians to help us grasp our ultimate purpose and destiny. He explains that we are "living stones" being fitted together into a spiritual house, with Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone. Mr. Elizondo reminds us that this indwelling is a transformative process, where our human nature is gradually replaced by the nature of God. He also offers a serious reminder that because we are God's holy temple, we must walk circumspectly, taking care of our physical bodies and nurturing our spiritual growth through prayer, study, and meditation. Finally, Eduardo highlights the importance of unity within the body of Christ. He exhorts the brethren to forbear one another in love, maintaining the bond of peace and humility. By understanding that we are being built together for a habitation of God in the spirit, we can better appreciate the depth of God’s love for us—a love that Jesus prayed would be in us as He is in us. This message is a powerful call to reflect on the holiness of our calling and to live every day as a true worshipper in spirit and in truth.
