Randy Black:

Uh first off, we must we must discuss it um that this past few months has been extremely difficult, as you know by now our are

Randy Black:

Our friend, our partner, my co-host, Coach Jim Clayton, did pass away.

Randy Black:

And not long after that, my my family has gone through a struggle as well as we lost my father-in-law.

Randy Black:

So I've been a bit disconnected at times uh as as we've worked on preparing for the future of this show.

Randy Black:

And the the through these months that have been so heavy

Randy Black:

Um so much weight on my shoulders, on the Clayton family's shoulders, on the rest of my family's shoulders.

Randy Black:

Um I and the everyone is is extremely grateful.

Randy Black:

For all the support, for all the prayers, and all the encouragement that have come our way through all of that.

Randy Black:

But even in the hard seasons of life that we face, good things can take root

Randy Black:

And I am unbelievably honored to share that Coach Clayton's daughter Elizabeth will be joining me as the new co-host of Shooting It Straight.

Randy Black:

We've announced that previously.

Randy Black:

Uh but I want to make sure people are aware of it.

Randy Black:

We have a new trailer out.

Randy Black:

We've redone a new theme song, our new intro to the show with Elizabeth in there, and we've we've started to create and content record episodes.

Randy Black:

She brings her own voice to the table, her own life experiences, and more importantly, most importantly, she brings a heart.

Randy Black:

that carries on her father's legacy forward in a very, very powerful way.

Randy Black:

And everything we do on this show from this point forward

Randy Black:

is to continue that mission, to to honor Jim and the goals he had in bringing discussions to people about things in life that may not be hard or may not be easy, that may be hard.

Randy Black:

uh things that will make you think, that will help you in your day-to-day life, things to just make you better.

Randy Black:

And that was always the goal.

Randy Black:
