Shownotes

At times it seems that there’s a wave of guilt that happens around being a mama, particularly when going from contributor to dependent. And chances have it that we would like to open up the discussion around this very topic in this episode. Grab your headphones if you can find them or listen out loud as Jill and Linda talk about:

  • Identity shifts when becoming mum, when we may loose contact with what we believed we were good at or important to us.
  • Postpartum realities of not wanting to go back to our old lives because our lives have changed so rapidly.
  • Working from home and the adventure of becoming an entrepreneur.
  • Social connections and contacts - talking to other adults in your day rather than toddler talk and/or interruptions in the park as you save your kid from climbing up the slide AGAIN...
  • The unpaid labor of parenting and mothering and running a household.
  • When we are still the primary contributor financially as well as the main parent - juggling both balls in the air all the time.
  • Guilt and grief for a life we once had.
  • Working out or priorities and playing along the way.
