On this episode Ted and Barb welcome Mark Masters, a comedian based in Denver, Colorado. Mark does good clean comedy and workshops for companies, corporate event, meetup group, or at comedy showcases. He is host of the Vail Comedy Show in Vail, CO. He also has a weekly online showcase called the Comedy Test Kitchen, and Comedy videos on YouTube at youtube.com/MarkMastersComedy. Mark has also published a book, Not Good Yet.
Mark talks about the importance of comedy and laugher in our lives. Comedy enhances learning. If you teach somebody something and you make them laugh at the same time, their attention improves. “I communicate information, and people learn something, but they also laugh along the way, which I think is important”, says Mark. Also, laugher is the best medicine. It improves our health. Humor can be helpful for people in quarantine. Private comedy shows can make them feel connected with others.
