We are called to speak the Word. We are to speak the Word of the Lord, to see the Earth changed, to see the atmosphere around us change. Satan comes against the Word. He doesn't want people to hear the Word. He doesn't want the Word to be spoken. He wants to make you relinquish the Word. He wants to do everything to throw anything in your path. It's important that we speak the Word.
Dale
The Word that God's bringing to the earth today, all about His kingdom. It started in the very beginning of Christ's ministry. He said, the kingdom of God has come near you. Throughout His ministry, He was leading us and leaving us with a Word from the Father. "I only do what I see the Father do." The Word that's placed before us is the gospel of the kingdom, and His kingdom coming forth in this earth, and His pattern Son. We read in the beginnings of Matthew, after His baptism, He comes out of the water. Father says, "This is My Son, in whom I am well pleased." He spends 40 days in the wilderness, and He meets up with Satan. Satan makes all these kinds of wonderful, beautiful offers. All's You have to do is bow down and worship me. What Christ said was just perfect. He didn't defend himself. He didn't put himself out there, He didn't justify Himself or qualify Himself. He just says it is written. He spoke the Word that He knew it is written. It was written before He had come to the earth. The Old Testament is just full of exactly what is going to happen to the satanic approach to the Word of God. That Word going out is going to be hindered by who? Satan, the evil in the earth. It's just going to put down and criticize that Word. But guess who wins out? The Father wins out, the Son wins out, the sons wins out, God's creation in the earth wins out. Because Satan is already a defeated foe.
Debbie
The only way we're defeated is by giving up that Word. Giving up that Word and giving it over to him. Because he wants to be worshiped. He wants that worship, he wants to adoration. He wants to take it from God and take it to himself. The key is keeping the Word laying, hold of the Word.
Ed
Think the whole thing comes down to speaking the Word.
Debbie
When we hold fast to the Word, and we don't let it go, and we honor that Word, it will explode in us and will explode through us and will be our answer and be the answer to the earth.
Ron
What we're talking about tonight is the importance of hanging on to the Word. The importance of speaking the Word. It is all important. There has to be the reality of the Word in your heart first. There has to be the revelation of the Word, the reality of the Word in your heart first. As it is becomes a reality, and a revelation that's living in you; then as you speak it, it comes forth with an intensity.
Dale
Deuteronomy 8: 1-11 talks about; "lest we forget the Lord our God, by not keeping His commandments, His ordinances, His statutes which I am commanding you to do today." That's where Satan wants to hit. And our response to that can't be passive. There has to be an intensity, a violence of spirit, that says "I believe God." Because what's happening is Satan is coming in there with all kinds of ideas. But if our focus is set on keeping His commandments, His ordinances, keeping His Word that He's written on our hearts; nobody can take that away from you, you have to give it up. We can't forget His ordinances, we can't forget His commandments. He created it. He created it in you and me. And we're speaking it. We're giving God His voice. We're giving God a live habitation like He had when His Son was here. Isn't Christ within you the hope of glory? Isn't Christ in you speaking the Father's Word, the hope of the gospel of the kingdom going to the ends of the earth? The Word that's in your heart will be like gold.
Debbie
Peter was put in prison for speaking the Word, because they were speaking the Word with boldness. And that's what we're to do. We're to speak the Word, the Word of God. See the earth change. See the earth become the place that God wants it to be. We have to stand on the Word and believe His Word. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." The Word of the Lord is established in our hearts.
Ron
So the Word is Christ, abiding within us. And the Word is a living thing. The Living Christ within us. Satan wants to resist the Word of God. He's always resisted the Word of God. Today in this day is no different. He resists the Word of God. If we align ourselves and we become that Word, he resist us. When we speak, he resist us in everything that we are. But it's really not us that he's trying to go after he's going after the Word. He's really resisting the Father, and what the Father wants in the earth and what He wants, which is His inheritance, His worshipers, His kingdom. The Word, first off, it's a revelation. It's a living being that's being imparted and has been imparted to His worshipers, to His people. It's just becoming Christ in the earth. It's a Spirit of Christ in you, that's really that living, living Word.
