It’s clear, women are inspiring. Between having children and handling work, we still manage to rock up and raise families alongside. But how can we practice self-care when we work like we have no kids and parent like we have no work? Jill and Linda are discussing this very question today and the many tangents that it takes us on. Listen in as we chat about:
- Our over-ambitious type tendencies when it comes to what we hope to achieve and thinking we can do it all.
- The templates in our brain that sometimes don’t match our values and how we want to live our lives, making sure we are in alignment.
- What it actually honestly and truthfully looks like to work from home with kids by our side.
- Patriarchy, institutions, work dynamics, and structures. What happens when we do have a choice?
- Empowerment. The internet word gets thrown around as we think about fulfillment from work, from parenting, and our roles in both as independent people.
- Decisions we need to make in maternity leave and how we think we want something particular and then it can change after we have children.
- Burnout, sleep, golden hours, nap times and more…the pressure, the guilt, postpartum and more.
It’s a jam packed episode and from what we think we will be back for more on this very hot topic.
