Life is an adventure of choices and consequences.

I believe that with all my heart.
But I do not believe that wise choices will always yield the outcome you desired.
The Book of Ecclesiastes is filled with the wisdom and insights of Solomon, who had this to say in chapter nine;
“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but Time and Chance happens to them all.”
I agree with what Solomon wrote, so I dare not say that a wise choice will always produce the desired outcome. But I will say that in the absence of unlucky timing and plain old bad luck, good Choices usually lead to good Consequences.
