In this exciting episode, the Word of God teaches us through His servant leader, King David, that our hearts and minds must be focused on Him during prayer. 

As Kingdom leaders in the Body of Christ, when we are taught and understand the relevance of God’s greatness in our prayers, it will revolutionize our prayer life.

David focuses on the attributes of God’s greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty. He stays focused on the Lord. It is not about us. It is all about JESUS!

David humbly prays and ascribes glory to the Lord. He is not trying to get glory. He is not trying to give God’s glory to the other leaders. He is not trying to give God’s glory to the biggest givers or the people who give the most money.

David knows better and, as Kingdom leaders, we should know better. We must always remember that the Lord blesses us to give generously. It all belongs to Him. David reminds us in this prayer that the Lord is victorious. He gave His servant leader, David, the victory time and time again.  As New Testament believers and Kingdom leaders, our ultimate victory is in Christ Jesus. He is our undisputed champion who gained the victory for us!
