Shownotes

A chance to reflect on the last three months of the podcast as I head towards an Easter break. I've gone back to January to listen back and learn again.

Shona McCallin gave some excellent thoughts on dealing with uncertainty. The hockey gold medal winner from Rio has had her fair share of injuries and many of the things she talked about are relevant for us as we deal with the restrictions of Covid times.

Charlotte Henshaw talks openly about her endometriosis diagnosis. The paracanoeist has dealt with the pain for many years.

Badminton pair Marcus Ellis and Lauren Smith were the first athletes I interviewed who experiences a big tournament in a bubble. And it came as a bit of shock when they realised they were spending up to 23 hours a day in their hotel room in Bangkok.

And Stef Reid gave some fascinating opinions on athlete diet and how she prepares for competition.

Thanks for listening and for all your support and donations since January. If you'd like to make a small offering to the Maggie Cancer Charity then here's the link
