Directed by Milos Forman, written by Peter Shaffer (based on his stage play) and starring F. Murray Abraham, Tom Hulce, Elizabeth Berridge and Jeffrey Jones, Amadeus was nominated for eleven Oscars and won eight, including Best Picture.
