Shownotes

The sermon entitled "Multiplication Miracles as Wealth Principles" serves as the culmination of our series, "Jesus the Wealthy Savior." This discourse emphatically elucidates that Jesus did not merely receive and manage resources; rather, He possessed the remarkable ability to multiply them. We explore the profound implications of this miracle, as recounted in all four Gospels, demonstrating that it transcends mere wonder to embody a model for Kingdom prosperity. The systematic approach that Jesus employed, characterized by organization, blessing, and active participation, reveals vital principles for believers regarding stewardship and the divine economy. Ultimately, this message invites us to recognize the significance of surrendering, structuring, and stewarding our resources as channels through which God's abundance flows. The discourse on multiplication miracles as wealth principles elucidates the multifaceted nature of Jesus' ministry and its implications for believers today. Throughout the sermon, we dissect the profound lessons derived from the miraculous feeding of thousands, a theme that resonates across the four Gospels. Central to this narrative is the assertion that Jesus did not conjure food from thin air; rather, He multiplied what was already present, thus teaching us that abundance begins with our willingness to release what we have. This foundational principle underscores the idea that Kingdom prosperity is predicated not on the quantity of resources, but on the availability and obedience of the giver. As we delve deeper into the message, we confront the essentiality of order in the process of divine multiplication. Jesus’ methodical approach to organizing the crowd before performing the miracle illustrates a pivotal truth: without structure and discipline, we may be ill-prepared to receive the overflow of blessings that God intends for us. The sequence of blessing preceding breaking further informs our understanding that challenges may serve as preparation for greater distribution, inviting us to reframe our perceptions of trials as opportunities for divine intervention. Furthermore, the sermon elucidates that multiplication flows through individuals rather than occurring in isolation. This principle invites believers to embrace their roles as conduits of God’s provision, actively participating in the distribution of blessings. The concluding reflections challenge us to reassess our perspectives on stewardship, emphasizing that the management of excess following a miracle is just as crucial as the miracle itself. In encapsulating these principles, the sermon invites us to explore how we can embrace God’s system of abundance in our lives through faithful surrender, diligent organization, and responsible stewardship.

Takeaways:

  1. Jesus multiplied what was already present, emphasizing the importance of availability over abundance.
  2. Order and structure are prerequisites for divine multiplication, as chaos does not qualify for increase.
  3. Breaking precedes blessing in the Kingdom, illustrating that preparation often accompanies divine distribution.
  4. God's provision is characterized by sufficiency with margin, as demonstrated by the abundance left over after the miracle.

Transcripts

Speaker A:

Welcome back to the series.

Speaker A:

Jesus the Wealthy Savior.

Speaker A:

In the series, we have seen a clear progressive revelation.

Speaker A:

In the first message, Jesus began life with provision, gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Speaker A:

And second, Jesus ministry was sustainably funded by financial supporters.

Speaker A:

And then in the third message, we unpacked that Jesus operated with financial systems, a treasurer and a money bag.

Speaker A:

Now we arrive at the climax.

Speaker A:

Jesus did not merely receive and manage resources.

Speaker A:

He multiplied them.

Speaker A:

This message addresses how the kingdom of God addresses the how of kingdom prosperity in today's message.

Speaker A:

Multiplication miracles as wealth Principles in all four gospels.

Speaker A:

All four gospels record this miracle.

Speaker A:

Because it is not just a miracle.

Speaker A:

It is a kingdom miracle.

Speaker A:

You know which miracle we're talking about when it comes to multiplication?

Speaker A:

And that is the boy with the five loaves and the two fish.

Speaker A:

We learn that Jesus multiplied what was already present.

Speaker A:

Jesus did not create food from nothing.

Speaker A:

He asked, what do you have?

Speaker A:

The answer was five loaves and two fish.

Speaker A:

Insignificant in quantity, but significant in obedience.

Speaker A:

God does not multiply what you hide.

Speaker A:

He multiplies what you release.

Speaker A:

Kingdom prosperity does not begin with abundance.

Speaker A:

It begins with availability.

Speaker A:

Jesus organized before he multiplied.

Speaker A:

Before breaking the bread, Jesus told the disciples to seat the people.

Speaker A:

He organized them in groups.

Speaker A:

He created order in the crowd, and this is critical.

Speaker A:

Order preceded overflow.

Speaker A:

Many believers want multiplication without structure, discipline and stewardship.

Speaker A:

But Jesus shows us chaos does not qualify for increase.

Speaker A:

God multiplies what is aligned.

Speaker A:

Jesus blessed before he broke.

Speaker A:

Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks and broke them.

Speaker A:

This is the kingdom sequence.

Speaker A:

Blessing comes before breaking.

Speaker A:

Some believers experience breaking and assume they are cursed.

Speaker A:

But in the kingdom, breaking is often preparation for distribution.

Speaker A:

What feels like reduction is often repositioning.

Speaker A:

Multiplication flowed through the disciples.

Speaker A:

Jesus did not personally feed the crowd.

Speaker A:

He gave the bread to the disciples and it multiplied in their hands.

Speaker A:

This teaches a profound principle.

Speaker A:

God multiplies through people, not around them.

Speaker A:

You are not just a recipient.

Speaker A:

You are a distribution channel.

Speaker A:

If God can trust you to pass it on, he can trust you with more.

Speaker A:

Everybody ate until they were satisfied.

Speaker A:

Scripture teaches us and says they all ate and were satisfied.

Speaker A:

This was not scarcity.

Speaker A:

This was not rationing.

Speaker A:

This was abundance.

Speaker A:

God's idea of provision is not survival.

Speaker A:

It is sufficiency with margin.

Speaker A:

There was leftover after the miracle.

Speaker A:

Twelve baskets remained.

Speaker A:

Jesus did not despise leftovers.

Speaker A:

He commanded they be gathered now.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because waste is not spiritual.

Speaker A:

Overflow must be stewarded.

Speaker A:

Access confirms multiplication.

Speaker A:

Leftovers are proof that God did more than enough.

Speaker A:

The miracle did not end with feeding.

Speaker A:

It ended with accounting.

Speaker A:

Jesus repeated this miracle twice, so nice he had to do it twice.

Speaker A:

Jesus fed 5,000 mostly Jews, 4,000 largely Gentiles.

Speaker A:

Now this tells us multiplication is not accidental.

Speaker A:

Prosperity principles are repeatable.

Speaker A:

God's abundance is not ethically or geographically limited.

Speaker A:

What this teaches believers about godly prosperity 1.

Speaker A:

God multiplies what you surrender, not what you hoard.

Speaker A:

2.

Speaker A:

Order attracts increase.

Speaker A:

Structure is not unspiritual, it is kingdom aligned.

Speaker A:

3.

Speaker A:

Blessing precedes breaking.

Speaker A:

Do not misinterpret seasons of stretching.

Speaker A:

4.

Speaker A:

You are the conduit.

Speaker A:

Provision flows through obedience, not isolation.

Speaker A:

5.

Speaker A:

God expects stewardship after miracles overflow without discipline leads to loss.

Speaker A:

Let us correct a false narrative.

Speaker A:

Some say if God wants to bless me, he will do it without my involvement.

Speaker A:

But Jesus shows us human participation matters.

Speaker A:

Stewardship partners with miracles.

Speaker A:

Faith expresses itself through action and multiplication is cooperative, not passive.

Speaker A:

Here are some questions that we can take for reflection.

Speaker A:

1.

Speaker A:

What small thing have we been underestimating?

Speaker A:

2.

Speaker A:

Where do we need to introduce order before asking for increase?

Speaker A:

And 3.

Speaker A:

Can God trust us to distribute what he multiplies in this week?

Speaker A:

Well, from this message let us identify what is already in our hands.

Speaker A:

Let us organize what God has given us and let us release it in obedience.

Speaker A:

Let us steward any increase intentionally.

Speaker A:

Let us pray.

Speaker A:

Lord Jesus, you showed us that you are not only provider but multiplier.

Speaker A:

Teach us to surrender what we have.

Speaker A:

Organize our lives with wisdom and steward abundance with humility.

Speaker A:

Make us faithful conduits of your provision on earth.

Speaker A:

May your kingdom come through obedience, our discipline and our generosity.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name, Amen.
