Shownotes
You're early enough that the building still sounds like itself. HVAC. A door. Somebody's keys. Not a service yet. Just a place waiting to become one. My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
Not wait for the room to fill. Not wait for the click track. Wait for God. Alone. In silence. Your hope for this morning is not sourced in how rehearsed you feel. It is sourced in him. You may still feel shaky. The psalm is not asking you to fake steel. It is handing you a place to put the shake. May fortress be a word you can say about him before you say anything into a microphone.
Anchored in Psalm 62:5-6. Before the Doors Open is a short Sunday morning sending for the whole worship team.
