Hello, Earnest Mann here! In today’s episode, I’m taking a hard look at crime, punishment, and profit within the American justice system. Using a recent tragic case as a springboard, I’m asking the tough questions about how justice is defined—and whether it’s truly being served. This is more than commentary; it’s a challenge to rethink justice in America.
We discuss the heartbreaking case of Samantha Miller, who was killed on her wedding night by a drunk driver, Jamie Karosi. Despite receiving a 25-year prison sentence, this case raises bigger questions: does incarceration serve justice, or does it serve a profit-driven system?
Drawing on history and psychology, I propose a radical alternative to long-term incarceration. Public punishments, retribution-based justice, and victim-family restitution are among the solutions I lay out. These ideas aim to reduce recidivism, cut costs, and prioritize victim satisfaction—ideas rooted in realism, not ideology.
American prisons are a booming industry, where low-skilled citizens are more valuable as prisoners than as workers. This system thrives on long-term incarceration for profit rather than solving the root causes of crime, creating a cycle that’s costly and inefficient.
We need a system that prioritizes justice over profit. By addressing the root of the problem and making penalties meaningful, we can create a society where crime and punishment aren’t commodified.

I'm a deep thinking contrarian, a very pragmatic idiocythrope. I believe that function determines desirability and legitimacy. I don't like the superficial and/or pretentious, nor the shallow. I speak the truth as best as I know it, as a professor of tautology.
With friends, I desire quality over quantity. I know some very important life truths I'm just waiting for you to ask about. I have found in life, many people talk about happiness, but are unwilling to pay the price, or believe they shouldn't have to, because they are entitled to it, but I know with absolute certainty, that such beliefs are always due to stupidity, Insanity, or some degree of both.
This is not just another YouTube channel; I'm seeking to build a community of Intelligent thinkers daring to discuss, - and say - what the hell really needs to be said, so do the right thing, leave your thoughts, for me and others to possibly learn from, and subscribe, and tell everyone else in the world you know about me, and you'll stand a really good chance, of me remembering you, in my will!
I believe we really can change the current status quo of an idiotic and fucked up purposeless treadmill existence, and actually improve this world, but it requires intelligence, honesty, and BALLS, all three of which are currently in short supply, especially the balls.
Thank you for taking the time, to read this, and remember to avoid anything or anyone stupid, as much as possible, your life will be far better for it.
Please consider, that by visiting my website and/or donating to this show, you're supporting an actual person, not some mega corporation, that wouldn't know human compassion if it hit them over the head!
I look forward to hearing from you, and until next Monday or Friday remember, the world may be misinformed and batshit crazy, but YOU, don’t have to be!

00:00 [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hello and thank you for being here in this little episode we're going to be talking about murder and even though it's a passive murder it's still murder unfortunately in America though the vast majority of crimes including murder go unpunished and if you don't believe that or don't understand why I'm saying that give this a
01:05 listen the murderer I'm talking about in this case is Jamie korski and if you're unfamiliar with this [ __ ] tards story give this little video a watch it's only around 2 minutes but it's important to watch so we can be as they say on the same page please pay close attention to the video because I have a question how did it make you feel how did the sentence that she was given make you feel I just want you to be completely honest with yourself and ask that singular question then keep that hopefully honest answer
01:50 in your head for just a moment here's the video now to a tragic story out of South Carolina that made national headlines Samantha Miller and her husband were riding a golf cart on their wedding night when they were hit by a drunk driver Samantha was killed and her husband suffered serious injuries well yesterday the 27-year-old driver pleaded guilty to drinking while driving and was handed her sentence Skyler Henry was in court as the groom remembered the last moments before the deadly crash physically I'm in B every day an
edding night in the spring of:02:59 investigator say they were hit by Jamie karosi who was driving 65 in a 25 mph Zone the toxicology report found her blood alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit the 27-year-old driver was remorseful in court Monday after pleading guilty she was sentenced to 25 years behind bars for felony DUI and Reckless homicide and that I take full responsibility for my action hopefully one day you will be able to forgive me but kamari's tears were no consolation for Samantha Miller's parents we've been sentenced to a
03:43 lifetime of pain for the rest of my life I'm going to hate you and when I arrive in hell and you come there I'll open the door for you kamari's attorneys say she anticipated a tough sentence following her guilty plea but they also say that she wanted to make sure that she took accountability publicly and also apologized to Miller's family Gail thank you very much Skyler okay you got that conclusion about your feelings into your head good now we can go forward and I'm going to forar you for
04:23 some of you it ain't going to be pretty because the sentence that she was given has in fact very little to do with Justice and much more to do with profit I'm going to diverge for just a moment to more clearly illustrate my point but please just stay with me unless you've been living under a rock for the last 30 years you should be fully aware that at this very moment there are people in different parts of the world whose lives are just so utterly [ __ ] up and often completely by no fault of their own true victims of
05:06 circumstance such as many Arab people in the Middle East Trapped In The NeverEnding Israeli Palestinian conflict and that they would gladly I'm talking [ __ ] head over heels go to just about any American prison even if that included working on a [ __ ] chain gang in exchange for where they living right now just for the guarantee of a relative peace and security of prison and while it's true they would absolutely lose their freedom this clearly illustrates how relative freedom is when you've got a cot to lay on two
05:52 or three reliable meals a day clean water a toilet medical facilities and you don't have bombs is dropping on your [ __ ] head each and every day so yeah I'm saying that from the point of view of those previously mentioned unfortunate bastards in the Middle East going through a daily hell for survival they would view this trial as incomprehensible that a regular citizen gets sent to what amounts in their eyes as a resort for basically being an irresponsible complete [ __ ] idiot that killed someone while driving
06:36 intoxicated and you know what I believe what any reasonably intelligent person would believe that they'd be right it's completely [ __ ] incomprehensible there is a huge difference between what American justice has become and what people intuitively actually want and that's called retribution generally speaking people intuitively want what makes them feel better and the only way that is achieved as history has long proven to be correct is retribution or also known as an eye for an eye if you will as many of you
07:22 know and for those of you not yet familiar with some of my more unorthodox ideas and opinions in general I don't believe in long-term prison incarceration and seeing how America has the largest number of incarcerated prisoners and prisons in the entire [ __ ] world my opinions on the surface might seem extremely liberal but that's really not the case at all because my reasoning is not liberal or conservative it is realist and rational just give me a moment and hear me out now before I go into the very
08:07 graphic specifics about what I feel should be done let me say before I traumatize your weak extremely porcelain and extremely feminized Minds that I'm going to be speaking real adult language so any subadults or those those who wish to not have their sensitivities offended should leave the room now and find something more acceptable such as the rumor that Kim Kardashian is now pregnant after being abducted by space aliens so this particular case of course would just be an example severities of punishment of other cases would be
08:56 somewhat increased or decreased depending on the crime circumstances and other factors but just for the sake of a general example the punishment phases for the a crime such as this would be as follows the convicted receives a public caning with a Philippine retan can which is specifically designed to maximize physical pain and is essential that the punishment be carried out in public to maximize embarassment to make the concept of Crime and Punishment very real in people's minds as it was in 19th century America when the public had well public
09:43 hangings which also became public events including the children the person would be strip nude and had a minimum of 50 lashes that would be administered the next phase of punishment to be administered immediately after the caning would be tar and Feathering then after a 7day recovery period phase three begins phase three would be a 5-year period of servitude the guilty party is basically a slave to the family of the person they murdered they have no rights whatsoever not from the family that now owns them or of society for that 5-year sentence
10:34 the families of the murdered uh can do with them whatever they choose and the sentenced have no rights whatsoever until that fiveyear sentence is complete the justification for this is simple you lost any and all rights as a human being when you took the life of another human being now I understand there are many that are going to have the knee-jerk reaction and say that what I am calling for is barbaric and inhumane I say quite the contrary it is exactly what needs to be done this accomplishes many things in a
11:25 positive way and as I stated earlier this is just a very crude and generalized example I wouldn't propose this treatment for someone guilty of jaywalking for example the retribution must fit the crime but retribution there always must be there is a ton of information that supports my proposals including historical and Behavioral Studies but in a nutshell here are the main benefits of what I'm proposing accomplishes first extremely low recidivism rates second a much higher degree of personal satisfaction from the
12:13 families of the victims and third no horrifically expensive ongoing maintenance cost for jail and prison facilities any and all staff that are employed employed there and of course the convicted criminals that occupy them year after year after year and sometimes for decades at a tremendous public cost which I argue citizens being forced to pay for this through direct Taxation and other means is what is truly barbaric and inhumane as well as criminal itself so if anything I say is true true why isn't it being done then the very
13:02 simple answer is profit like everything else in America today crime has basically become a commodity something to be bought and sold this is why generally speaking the Rich and Famous get away with all types of crime while the by comparison the average citizen can often end up serving ridiculous sentences for relatively harmless offenses but the real purpose of those ridiculous sentences makes sense if you simply look at it from a corporate Financial profitability point of view I could talk about this a lot more
13:44 so feel free to let me know if you want me to but right now I'll wrap this up as simply as I know how America's jail and prison industry makes a hell of a lot more profit by incarcerating low or no skilled people usually young and poorly educated then by having those same people working at low paying service industry jobs such as you know Burger flippers or other big box wage slaves it is yet another example of a hypocritical and schizophrenic legal system the police legal and prison system endlessly complaining about the lack of
14:33 resources to effectively combat crime Whenever there is another shooting or mass shooting on the 6:00 news yet at the same time a system doing everything in its power behind the scenes to encourage it and speaking of crime it would be a real crime if you didn't check out my next little episode so park your ass here every Monday and Friday at 6:00 a.m.
