Prayer = Living Without Limits
A Puritan once said: “In prayer, I have a sense of omnipotency.”
He wasn’t claiming to be God, but he recognized that when we partner with God in prayer, His limitless power is directed toward us.
Paul writes in Ephesians 1 that as we grow in the spirit of wisdom and revelation, we can know “the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe.” Prayer taps into that reality.
Here are three key truths about why prayer has no limits:
1. Prayer Gives Us Access to God's Throne
Through Christ, we have legal standing before the Father. His righteousness clothes us, quenching every accusation and giving us confidence to approach God’s throne. Prayer isn’t about twisting God’s arm—it’s about stepping into the access Jesus secured for us.
2. Prayer Carries Legal Authority
When we pray in Jesus’ name, it’s not just a tag at the end of our request. Jesus gave us His name as legal authority—as if holding His power of attorney before heaven’s court. This means we can act in His stead, backed by His rights and inheritance.
3. Prayer Joins Us to Christ's Firstborn Rights
Scripture says we are co-heirs with Christ. When we pray, we do so in partnership with Jesus’ firstborn privileges over all creation. That authority extends over people, systems, organizations, and even nations.
Don’t shrink your prayers down to your own resources—pray bold, big prayers that align with God’s will.
Prayer is limitless because it connects us to the limitless God. As James wrote (4:2), “You do not have because you do not ask.”
Let’s not leave blessings, breakthroughs, and opportunities on the table simply because we failed to pray.
A Wellness Bonus: The Cottage Cheese Bedtime Boost
Now for a surprising health tip I’ve been practicing—straight from my wellness journey after dealing with shingles earlier this year.
Since then, with God’s help and some lifestyle changes, I’ve lost 30 pounds and gained muscle. One of the small but powerful practices I’ve discovered: eating a half cup of low-fat cottage cheese before bed.
Here’s why it works:
Cottage cheese contains casein protein, which digests slowly and provides a steady release of amino acids overnight.
One key amino acid, leucine, signals the body to preserve and rebuild muscle tissue while you rest.
When paired with proper sleep rhythms and by shutting down the kitchen after 7 p.m. (to avoid insulin spikes), cottage cheese helps your body release human growth hormone (HGH) naturally.
The result: better recovery, stronger muscles, fat burning during sleep, and improved overall metabolic health.
This is about stewarding the body God gave us. Jesus cares about every domain of life—our bodies, minds, relationships, finances, and more.
Wellness is part of God’s design for human flourishing.
Final Encouragement
God invites us to pray bold prayers because His power is without limits. At the same time, He calls us to steward our lives wisely—including our health. Prayer and practical wisdom go hand in hand.
As Jeremiah 31:25-26 says: “I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul… and my sleep was sweet to me.”
May your prayers grow bold and your sleep be sweet.
If this episode encouraged you, share it with someone who needs to be reminded that prayer is limitless. And maybe they could use a cottage cheese tip too!

Speaker A:So glad you're here.
Speaker A:And today we are talking about living with a sense of omnipotency.
Speaker A:We're not God, but prayer has no limits.
Speaker A:And the reason it has no limits is because God has no limits and he's all powerful and he's the one we're conversing with.
Speaker A:He's the one that we're partnering with.
Speaker A:So we're going to talk about that briefly.
Speaker A:This is drawn from the Smart Edit letter.

Speaker A:We have a couple great guests coming up on the podcast.
Speaker A:Gary Ingram from the Love and Truth Network just recorded this past week.
Speaker A:It'll be coming out in early September.
Speaker A:He is an ex, an expert, and he has personal life experience in the space of gender confusion, being restored to heterosexuality, all of these major issues that we've been dealing with for, in a peak state for the past several years.
Speaker A:So we'll be talking with him about that.
Speaker A:It was an excellent conversation.
Speaker A:We also have Frank Viola coming on the podcast again, a tremendous voice, tremendous author.
Speaker A:He has made an indelible mark on me through his writing and through a mastermind I was a part of with Frank.
Speaker A:So that's coming up.
Speaker A:I'd like to encourage you to if you missed the last two episodes just last week, Kingdom Forward.
Speaker A:Living on the leading edge of the King's Story.
Speaker A:What it means to be Kingdom Forward in your life in the way you relate to people, your decisions, how you pray, how you act.
Speaker A:And then before that, episode 346, faith gains.
Speaker A:You may not want to hear this, but this is why your spirit needs a load or resistance on it to grow, just like our human body does.
Speaker A:Resistance equals growth.
Speaker A:Our spirit adapts and it grows and it's strengthened in the Lord.
Speaker A:Today, though, we are.
Speaker A:Let me get to my notes here.
Speaker A:There it is.
Speaker A:We are talking about prayer having no limits.
Speaker A:By the way, special bonus in today's episode, it's not going to be too long.
Speaker A:We're wrapping up the summer here.
Speaker A: he third week of August here,: Speaker A:I hope your Summer's been going great.
Speaker A:We have a special bonus today about cottage cheese.
Speaker A:What?
Speaker A:Why are we talking about cottage cheese?
Speaker A:Well, this is also from the newsletter.
Speaker A:It's something I'm practicing.
Speaker A:I had an ins, an experience, I think it was beginning in April.
Speaker A:I got hit with shingles.
Speaker A:Have you ever heard of shingles?
Speaker A:Probably.
Speaker A:Have you ever experienced it?
Speaker A:Maybe not 1 out of 3Americans over the age of 50 get hit with shingles.
Speaker A:It's unbelievable.
Speaker A:It was on my radar.
Speaker A:I knew about it, but it was not on my radar.
Speaker A:The impact it has on your body.
Speaker A:I'm still dealing with nerve pain in my back and leg related to that, so.
Speaker A:But I've been on a wellness quest since that time.
Speaker A:Let's take the lemons and make lemonade out of it.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:And so thankfully, with the Lord's help and with a lot of information that I'm pretty much self educated on this, you know, with the Internet today, with YouTube especially, but I've lost 30 pounds and I need to lose more.
Speaker A:And I'm doing other things, adding muscle tissue.
Speaker A:But one of the secrets that I had no idea about is cottage cheese.
Speaker A:30 minutes before bed, shut down your kitchen at 7 o'.
Speaker A:Clock.
Speaker A:Don't eat after 7pm but then 30 minutes before you go to sleep, eat a half cup of cottage cheese.
Speaker A:And we're going to talk about that.
Speaker A:How it works with your body while you sleep.
Speaker A:It helps you with recovery, healing it release.
Speaker A:It helps to facilitate human growth hormone and cuts down on insulin spikes and actually helps you lose weight while you sleep.
Speaker A:It's amazing and it's cheap.
Speaker A:So we're going to talk about that.
Speaker A:Why do we talk about stuff related to wellness on, on this podcast, Jesus Smart X.
Speaker A:Well, because Jesus knows how human flourishing works.
Speaker A:And that's really part of the overall quest here is Jesus understands how your body works best, how relationships work, finances, business, all the domains of life.
Speaker A:He understands how everything works best.
Speaker A:They created order, right?
Speaker A:He created it all.
Speaker A:And so yeah, we do talk about wellness.
Speaker A:We talk about brain health here, we talk about overall health.
Speaker A:And so that's why we're going to talk about cottage cheese today.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Part of God's creation, we can make cottage cheese.
Speaker A:And there's a couple ingredients I'll just touch on there briefly with you about.
Speaker A:But first, first let's talk about living without limits.
Speaker A:And prayer has no limits.
Speaker A:And why.
Speaker A:And what happens when heaven hands you the keys?
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:What happens when heaven gives you the keys of the kingdom?
Speaker A:There was a.
Speaker A:This is an old quote I love the old guys.
Speaker A:I think he was a puritan.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:His name's going to escape me.
Speaker A:I want to say John Owens, but I could be wrong.
Speaker A:But just listen to the quote.
Speaker A:This is the important thing he says.
Speaker A:Basically, he said in prayer, I have a sense or a sort of omnipotency.
Speaker A:And what does that mean?
Speaker A:Omnipotency is one of those, you know, doctrinal words or theological words to describe part of the nature of God.
Speaker A:He is all powerful.
Speaker A:Potency means power.
Speaker A:Omni means all omnipotency.
Speaker A:Or like, for example, he's omniscient, all knowing or omnipresent everywhere at once.
Speaker A:Omnipotency.
Speaker A:But why is this Again, a puritan, I believe.
Speaker A:Why is he saying in prayer I have a sort of omnipotency?
Speaker A:Well, he's not saying he's God omni potent, but he's saying made in the image of God.
Speaker A:And when he partners with God and when he converses with God and when the kingdom power is directed towards him.
Speaker A:You know, Paul did say in Ephesians 1 that through an increasing spirit of wisdom and revelation of Christ, the eyes of our understanding can be enlightened.
Speaker A:And one of the benefits, one of the outcomes of that is that we can know the power of God that is directed toward those who believe power belongs to God, but it's directed toward us.
Speaker A:And we can steward that power to move things which God wants to move, like mountains of obstruction, or to stop things which he wants to stop or start things which he wants to start, and so on.
Speaker A:So this is an amazing quote, isn't it?
Speaker A:In prayer I have a sense of omnipotency.
Speaker A:You know, Dallas Willard says one of the things that made Jesus so attractive when he was on the earth is that he empowered the human condition.
Speaker A:There is something wired deep within you that wants to be empowered.
Speaker A:But we need to be empowered in a right way.
Speaker A:It needs to be God's power.
Speaker A:We steward God's power.
Speaker A:We don't want toxic power or a false counterfeit power where we become God, where we abuse people, where we abuse situations.
Speaker A:No, we want flourishing.
Speaker A:We want God's will on the earth.
Speaker A:We want God's design to be manifested at a greater level.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So let's talk about this.
Speaker A:One of the greatest realizations you and I can have is this.
Speaker A:Prayer knows no limits.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Why can we say this?
Speaker A:Well, the main reason we can say this, I think, is because prayer connects us directly to the limitless God.
Speaker A:It's that simple.
Speaker A:And as we grow in prayer and as we grow in heart relationship with God, which makes us more conducive to pure prayer, we can see God's power and his limitless capacity, something of that in us and flowing through us into our personal world, into the people we love, into the people we're called to reach into our sphere of influence, our assignments.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So many things we leave on the table and are just simply not experienced because we never ask the Father.
Speaker A:James said this in James 4:2.
Speaker A:You do not have because why you do not ask.
Speaker A:And so the greatest reason for unanswered prayers, if we could put it this way, is that they're never prayed.
Speaker A:You do not have because you do not ask.
Speaker A:How many things are we going to leave on the table in our life because of a weak, shrinking prayer life and a lack of courage to move with boldness and what the Father wants?
Speaker A:So let's just let me give you three quick points and then we'll talk about the cottage cheese, okay?
Speaker A:All right, here's the first point.
Speaker A:Prayer is not about twisting God's arm.
Speaker A:Prayer is not self serving, you know, as the highest value.
Speaker A:Prayer is about stepping into the access that Jesus won for us.
Speaker A:You see, on our own, on our own, we do not have standing before the Father.
Speaker A:We do not have legal standing before the Judge of all.
Speaker A:We don't.
Speaker A:But in Christ, In Christ we are are clothed with his righteousness.
Speaker A:His perfection quenches every accusation in your life because that perfection is given to you in Christ by faith.
Speaker A:It's accredited to your account.
Speaker A:And his perfection quenches every accusation and gives us confident access to the Father's throne.
Speaker A:So this is the first part.
Speaker A:Please don't think of prayer as just something to relieve stress or you get into a Zen like only, you know, meditative state.
Speaker A:I mean, I believe in biblical meditation.
Speaker A:I believe in calming ourselves.
Speaker A:I believe in getting still before the Lord.
Speaker A:But prayer is not some nebulous fuzzy thing that we don't really know what we're, what we're what it is we have no clear understanding.
Speaker A:Number one, prayer is about accessing right into God's presence that Jesus won for us and having legal standing before His.
Speaker A:His throne.
Speaker A:Let's talk about legal standing.
Speaker A:Okay, here's number two.
Speaker A:Because when we pray, we're all learning about prayer.
Speaker A:We're all on the prayer curve, okay?
Speaker A:When we pray in Jesus name, we're not just tagging his name on the end of our own words.
Speaker A:Jesus says, I give you my name.
Speaker A:He said, when you pray in that day, meaning after his ascension.
Speaker A:Pray to the Father and in My name.
Speaker A:What is this?
Speaker A:Well, this is nothing less than legal authority.
Speaker A:This is power of eternity power of attorney.
Speaker A:When you have power of attorney, you can act on behalf of someone else based on their rights, based on their inheritance, right.
Speaker A:And so Jesus has given us his name.
Speaker A:And when we pray before the Father, we're praying in his stead.
Speaker A:It's really in a sense as if he's praying before the Father, we're praying, we have his favor, his legal authority upon us.
Speaker A:This is staggering, okay?
Speaker A:This is really in a sense holding Christ power of attorney.
Speaker A:It's not a sense, it's reality.
Speaker A:In reality, we are holding Christ power of attorney in heaven's court.
Speaker A:Amazing.
Speaker A:Staggering Again, how much is being left on the table?
Speaker A:What things are continuing to chronically happen and happen and happen that need to be bound and stopped?
Speaker A:What things are not happening, not happening, not happening that need to be initiated, birthed, conceived, developed through this legal authority and through this prayer.
Speaker A:You know, one of the questions the court first asks or first is concerned with any, any legal concern or any legal case is who has legal standing here?
Speaker A:You cannot just walk into a court if you don't have legal standing and try to try to take action or try to make claims.
Speaker A:Somebody has to have legal standing in the case to make the case of effect.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:And it's really like that with the Father, who has legal standing with Him.
Speaker A:Well, number one, we touched on it.
Speaker A:You have to step into the access that Jesus won for us.
Speaker A:His righteousness, His.
Speaker A:His perfection upon us.
Speaker A:And number two, you, you, you, you come in an awareness and a capacity of legal authority.
Speaker A:And you have legal standing with the Father now because not only are you righteous in Christ, but He's given you now his name to pray before the Father.
Speaker A:This is amazing.
Speaker A:Staggering.
Speaker A:Christ power of eternity attorney in heaven's court.
Speaker A:Let's talk about a third point.
Speaker A:Let's take it even a little further.
Speaker A:Scripture says that we are coairs with Christ.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:The New Testament clearly teaches this.
Speaker A:That means that when you approach God, you do so in conjunction with Christ.
Speaker A:Firstborn rights and privileges over the entire created order.
Speaker A:Okay, I mean, let's just try to unpack this.
Speaker A:I mean, the New Testament clearly teaches that Jesus is the head now over all things.
Speaker A:He also has always had firstborn rights over the created order.
Speaker A:Executive privilege.
Speaker A:We could say that as the head over all things, unlimited privileges before the Father.
Speaker A:And when we pray, we have access, we have legal authority.
Speaker A:We pray in his name.
Speaker A:And we now come before the Father in conjunction in partnership with Christ's firstborn rights and privileges over all things there, over every organization, over every corporation, over every international corporation, over every international agency, the World Economic Forum, the who, you know, the World Health Organization, the United.
Speaker A:It doesn't matter, George Soros.
Speaker A:Over every person, every system, every organization, even over every nation, every army, every navy, every air force, every military might, over all principalities and powers.
Speaker A:You have firstborn rights in conjunction with Christ.
Speaker A:When you pray, I mean, let's just scale up, okay?
Speaker A:Don't shrink.
Speaker A:You know, I've done this in my own life.
Speaker A:The incredible shrinking prayer.
Speaker A:You know, you, we, we need to scale up.
Speaker A:We need to come in there like a, a warrior, like a, like a, like a premium world class kingdom athlete.
Speaker A:Somebody who's wealthy in Christ and knows it.
Speaker A:And we are now praying in firstborn conjunction with the firstborn rights and privileges of Jesus Christ.
Speaker A:Your inheritance rights are wide open.
Speaker A:We won't fully realize this in all of its depth until the millennium and into the new heavens and new earth.
Speaker A:I think this will be continually unfurling before us.
Speaker A:But we are to start experiencing this now.
Speaker A:We're to run our race to win it.
Speaker A:We're to fight our fight to win.
Speaker A:And we are to finish the course and have that confidence that Paul had at the end of his life.
Speaker A:He was ready to.
Speaker A:He was ready to come into the presence of the Lord.
Speaker A:And he had a sense of completeness, completion.
Speaker A:He had done.
Speaker A:He had done the best he could do.
Speaker A:He had done everything.
Speaker A:He knew.
Speaker A:He had grown as fast as he could.
Speaker A:He had.
Speaker A:He had run the race as fast as he could.
Speaker A:He had fought the fight with the intensity.
Speaker A:So don't collapse your prayers down to your own resources or even your own imagination.
Speaker A:Please, please, Brian, don't do that.
Speaker A:Pray big bold prayers.
Speaker A:The supply of the spirit is infinite and the access is already yours in Christ.
Speaker A:Now if you want to go further with this theme, a little bit further.
Speaker A:You can go to jesussmart.com and look for the article called Prayer is Limitless.
Speaker A:Now before we talk about the cheese, let's pray this quick prayer.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:Father.
Speaker A:Father, I repent of my incredible shame.
Speaker A:Shrinking prayers, Father.
Speaker A:It's not worthy of you.
Speaker A:It's not worthy of what you're doing in the earth.
Speaker A:And Holy Spirit, I ask right now that you would lead me and empower me in prayer.
Speaker A:And I receive it in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Okay, now this was in our latest issue of the Smart Edit, which goes out weekly.
Speaker A:It's a Free newsletter.
Speaker A:I encourage you to go to Jesus smart dot com.
Speaker A:Click on newsletter or just search Smart Edit newsletter in any search engine.
Speaker A:It'll pull it right up to the top and I'd love to have you on the list.
Speaker A:And we don't spam, we don't sell your email.
Speaker A:There's nothing like that goes on.
Speaker A:This is confidential.
Speaker A:And here's, here's the kinds of things you'll get though in this newsletter.
Speaker A:What I just reflected on there about prayer.
Speaker A:Now let's talk about cottage cheese, because you also get the cheese in the newsletter.
Speaker A:Let's talk about a bedtime boost.
Speaker A:All right, now, in an issue before this last one, I shared the importance of when I was in this wellness little section on the newsletter, I shared the importance of shutting down the kitchen by 7pm, not eating after 7pm and what this does when you sleep is it maximizes your human growth hormone release while you sleep.
Speaker A:You say, why do I need hgh human growth hormone?
Speaker A:I thought that was for adolescence.
Speaker A:No, it's not.
Speaker A:We need that our entire life, lifetime.
Speaker A:Because what does it do?
Speaker A:It helps maintain our muscle tissue, which is vitally important, our body composition.
Speaker A:Do you know that your muscular system is not just to help you move, it's actually a beneficial metabolic system that, that helps you with metabolic health, like, like stabilizing your sugar and your hormones and all of these things.
Speaker A:But here's the ex.
Speaker A:So human growth hormone is for your adult life as well, and it's always released at night.
Speaker A:Your, your body wants to release it, especially during your first couple hours of quality sleep.
Speaker A:But if we eat too late at night, if we're putting sugar into our system and carbohydrates, what it does is it creates an insulin spike and it mitigates against this release of human growth hormone.
Speaker A:And so what does that mean?
Speaker A:Well, we can't, our muscles can't recover as much as they need to.
Speaker A:If, if there's some injury in our body that needs to be healed or, or even a disease or something that we're, you know, really losing the benefit of that human growth hormone, the level at which it could be released, because you're spiking your insulin right before bed.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:So if we close down the kitchen at 7 o', clock, that's the key.
Speaker A:Now, this is challenging because I'm a little confession here, little vulnerability.
Speaker A:I have always enjoyed eating.
Speaker A:I mean, I like to eat, man.
Speaker A:I'm half Italian.
Speaker A:All right?
Speaker A:And to be honest with you, I think that I went a long time eating late at night.
Speaker A:And I think it was psychological.
Speaker A:I think it was psychological eating.
Speaker A:I really do.
Speaker A:But you can break that.
Speaker A:I feel like with the Lord's help, I'm breaking that.
Speaker A:Okay, so close it down by seven.
Speaker A:But here's the exception.
Speaker A:Let's talk about the cheese.
Speaker A:Now, the cottage cheese in particular.
Speaker A:Eat 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese about 30 minutes before you go to sleep.
Speaker A:Now, why.
Speaker A:Why would you want to do that?
Speaker A:Why does this work?
Speaker A:Okay, a little bit technical, but not so much.
Speaker A:Listen, I'm big on this.
Speaker A:I'm big on lifelong learning, and I'm big on self education, and I'm big on.
Speaker A:We.
Speaker A:We have all the tools at our fingertips today.
Speaker A:Right through your keyboard, you can learn anything.
Speaker A:All right, why does this work?
Speaker A:Well, there's a slow digesting protein in cottage cheese called casein.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:C, A, S, E, I, N. And it digests slowly and it provides this steady stream of amino acids overnight in your system.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:I think there are nine essential amino acids, and I think we know that amino acids are the building blocks of protein in our body.
Speaker A:Now, one of these amino acids, which is in this casein protein and cottage cheese, is called leucine.
Speaker A:L, E, U, C, I, N, E. This is a key amino acid.
Speaker A:Here's.
Speaker A:Here's where the.
Speaker A:Here's where the.
Speaker A:I don't want to say magic, but here's where the magic is.
Speaker A:It is a key amino acid leucine.
Speaker A:It.
Speaker A:It sends a signal to your body to preserve and rebuild muscle tissue while you rest.
Speaker A:Okay, so we should be doing cardio some.
Speaker A:We should be walking, maybe running, biking.
Speaker A:Those types of exercises we should also be doing throughout our lifetime.
Speaker A:Strength training exercises.
Speaker A:Body weight exercises are great.
Speaker A:Even body weight.
Speaker A:Squats, push ups, you know, other sorts of exercises.
Speaker A:Pick up dumbbells a little bit.
Speaker A:Women can do this.
Speaker A:Men can do this.
Speaker A:We want you.
Speaker A:You.
Speaker A:You have to signal to your muscles to adapt, to grow, to maintain their strength.
Speaker A:And so this is why we need to do resistance training.
Speaker A:The other part of it, though, is that we need to have the proper diet to feed our muscular system so we can maintain that tissue and so that it can grow and be strengthened as.
Speaker A:As we exercise.
Speaker A:All right, so this key amino acid, leucine, in cottage cheese, it signals the body to preserve and rebuild muscle tissue while you rest.
Speaker A:You don't want to lose muscle tissue.
Speaker A:Now, wait, there's more.
Speaker A:It synergizes with hgh, human growth hormone.
Speaker A:So since we're not spiking our insulin late at night because we Shut down the kitchen at 7.
Speaker A:You know those late night carbs and sugars.
Speaker A:Now, the human growth hormone can flow freely during those first hours of sleep.
Speaker A:And what this does is it works with the protein casein and the amino acid leucine, and it protects lean tissue.
Speaker A:And there's more.
Speaker A:It helps to burn fat while you sleep.
Speaker A:You know, we need to burn excess fat.
Speaker A:Even if we're at the human flourishing weight we, we want and need to be at.
Speaker A:But especially as we're attempting to lose weight, we don't want to, we want to burn fat while we sleep, you know, and so this helps to do that.
Speaker A:It helps to keep our muscle tissue from weakening and shrinking, which you really want to mitigate against that as you lose fat weight.
Speaker A:You don't want to lose your muscle tissue, you want to lose the fat tissue, okay?
Speaker A:And the more muscle tissue you can preserve in your body, the easier it will be to lose weight and maintain the proper human flourishing weight for you, okay?
Speaker A:So it helps protect that lean muscle tissue and it helps to burn the fat.
Speaker A:You see, I'm not a doctor, okay?
Speaker A:Always talk with your doctor, do your own research and always be under your own medical care.
Speaker A:Of course.
Speaker A:But there are multiple sources, multiple articles, multiple studies on this.
Speaker A:This is metabolic protection.
Speaker A:Strong muscle, strong muscles in your body.
Speaker A:Good muscle tissue means a stronger metabolism, and this is vital for weight loss, weight management, energy, keeping your blood sugar stabilized, preventing diabetes or coming out of diabetes, blood pressure control, getting off of blood pressure meds, all of these things.
Speaker A:It's also beneficial to sleeping quality.
Speaker A:These ingredients help you sleep better.
Speaker A:All right, so here's the smart edit tip, if we could put it this way, okay, Shut down the kitchen at 7.
Speaker A:It'll get easier.
Speaker A:Once you start doing this, you'll think, oh, around 9 or 10 o', clock, your body just starts, it's time to eat.
Speaker A:No, we have to, we have to retrain the body.
Speaker A:And it will retrain, it will adapt.
Speaker A:Shut down the kitchen at 7 then if you want to support like maximum recovery in your body while you sleep.
Speaker A:And if you want to support fat loss, take in a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese before bed.
Speaker A:By the way, this will help dull that appetite late at night and you won't tend to wake up hungry in the middle of the night.
Speaker A:Take in without one half cup of cottage cheese before bed.
Speaker A:It's a small habit.
Speaker A:And what it does, all we're simply doing is aligning ourselves with the way God has designed our bodies, our rhythms of sleep and renewal and our Hormonal system.
Speaker A:And you know how, how our bodies work.
Speaker A:Jesus is concerned about human flourishing.
Speaker A:You can't just abuse your body and jump in prayer lines to get healed.
Speaker A:You know, it just doesn't work that way.
Speaker A:Yeah, there are times we need to get prayer over our bodies for sure.
Speaker A:But we also need to do the practical, responsible stewardship things with our bodies.
Speaker A:And so listen to this scripture from Jeremiah 31, 25 and 26.
Speaker A:I just love these words.
Speaker A:God says, I have satiated.
Speaker A:Don't you love that word that means fulfilled?
Speaker A:I have sat satiated the weary soul.
Speaker A:And I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
Speaker A:And the prophet says, after this, I awoke and looked around and my sleep was sweet to me.
Speaker A:And so, Father, we pray right now for sweet sleep.
Speaker A:We pray for sons and daughters of God who are really highly functional disciples of Christ who are moving through life with optimal strength.
Speaker A:May we love you as, as the Word says, with all of our strength, all of our mind, all of our soul.
Speaker A:May we love you with everything.
Speaker A:May we serve you with everything.
Speaker A:May we live long, fruitful, healthy years.
Speaker A:May we say with the Apostle Paul, that I have run my race.
Speaker A:I finished my course in the future.
Speaker A:There is laid up for me a reward.
Speaker A:May we go into the millennium and into the new heavens and new earth with momentum, with trajectory of calling and assignment.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:And may we just.
Speaker A:May we.
Speaker A:May we live with the human flourishing of Jesus on us.
Speaker A:The life is in the Son, the scripture says in the New Testament.
Speaker A:And we draw on that life from the Son of God, Jesus Christ himself.
Speaker A:We take into our bodies his body and his blood through the Eucharist, through communion, through remembering and appropriating the benefits of our salvation.
Speaker A:What's on the table?
Speaker A:By remembering, recalling his atoning work on the cross, we acknowledge and receive the truth that salvation is not just some concept of our soul going to heaven, but that it is a global, comprehensive term of physical well being, psychological well being, spiritual well being, temporal well being, eternal well being.
Speaker A:Soteria.
Speaker A:We receive it in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you, Father.
Speaker A:Oh God.
Speaker A:Our benefits of our salvation exceed our natural ability to just.
Speaker A:We have to rehearse it, review it, expand, get revelation and illumination on.
Speaker A:And we thank you for it.
Speaker A:And we're going to do it.
Speaker A:We are doing it in Jesus name.
Speaker A:I appreciate you, my friend.
Speaker A:If you think this episode would be of value to anyone, share it with them.
