Speaker A:Join us as we bring healing, unity and clarity to your walk with God by focusing on one thing.
Speaker A:What did Jesus say?
Speaker A:Now let's join Pastor Robert Thibodeau for the Red Letter Crusade.
Speaker A:Because when it comes to understanding the entire Bible, his words matter.
Speaker A:Hello, everyone, everywhere.
Speaker A:Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.
Speaker A:Welcome to Freedom Through Faith.
Speaker A:Glory to God.
Speaker A:We're so blessed that you're joining us today.
Speaker A:Let me get that off there.
Speaker A:There we go.
Speaker A:Now I can see you.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:It is such a blessing to be speaking to you today as we're going to be answering a question.
Speaker A:Is God speaking to you?
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So let's go lower with a word of prayer.
Speaker A:We'll go ahead and get started today's Bible study.
Speaker A:Heavenly Father, in Jesus name, we praise you, first of all for our salvation.
Speaker A:Second of all for the gift of the forgiveness of all our sins and the gift of everlasting life.
Speaker A:And third, we thank you for the technology you have made available to us to share this gospel with the world through the power of the Internet.
Speaker A:Father, we pray that someone, somewhere this day, receives Jesus as their savior as a result of this broadcast.
Speaker A:Father, we thank you that you lead, guide and direct this conversation today to bring honor and glory to your name.
Speaker A:And we pray this in Jesus name, Amen and Amen.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Join me in our profession of faith, commonly referred to as the Lord's Prayer.
Speaker A:You need to say this out loud.
Speaker A:At least loud enough for your own two ears to hear your own voice.
Speaker A:Because faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So just repeat after me.
Speaker A:Our Father who art in heaven, holy be thy name.
Speaker A:May your kingdom come.
Speaker A:May your will be done in this earth as it is in heaven.
Speaker A:Give us this day our daily bread.
Speaker A:Forgive us.
Speaker A:Well, forgive us of all our sins.
Speaker A:Oh, thank you for the forgiveness of our sins.
Speaker A:Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil.
Speaker A:For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Speaker A:In Jesus name we pray.
Speaker A:Amen and Amen.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Now, hallelujah.
Speaker A:Get your Bibles out.
Speaker A:Because the question is, is God speaking to you?
Speaker A:You know, there's many people today.
Speaker A:Many Christians, they've used that expression, you know, the Lord showed me, or the Lord told me, or the Lord impressed upon me to do some certain thing.
Speaker A:And you may have used that language and that type of expression as well before in your life.
Speaker A:I know I have.
Speaker A:In fact, Some people may even say the Lord appeared to them and told them to do something.
Speaker A:Well, when someone says that, there's usually two different kinds of reactions.
Speaker A:One is, yeah, right.
Speaker A:And they kind of roll their eyes and think you're nuts.
Speaker A:The other is one of interest.
Speaker A:You know, they'll say something like, what did he look like?
Speaker A:Or what did he say?
Speaker A:I guess those are natural reactions and questions.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:But some others may think, why would Jesus talk to you?
Speaker A:Insinuating, why you, not me, right?
Speaker A:Now, let me ask you, what do you think if someone.
Speaker A:What would.
Speaker A:What do you think if someone comes up and claims to have seen or spoken to Jesus?
Speaker A:Now, I'm not talking about in prayer, okay?
Speaker A:I mean, when he was right there in the same room.
Speaker A:Well, you know, Brother Bob, I don't know about all that.
Speaker A:Well, let me ask you, why not?
Speaker A:Why not?
Speaker A:Doesn't Scripture say, he's inside of you?
Speaker A:Didn't God appear to Moses in a burning bush?
Speaker A:Do we doubt that?
Speaker A:Well, if not, why not?
Speaker A:Because God's God.
Speaker A:He can do what he wants, when he wants, how he wants.
Speaker A:If he needs to get something accomplished, there is no problem with him sending an angel or if need be, to show up himself.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Don't shut me down when I'm stepping on all your religious hypocrisy.
Speaker A:Now, I know several people personally, some administered, some.
Speaker A:May not had that same kind of experience with either seeing the Lord or hearing his audible voice.
Speaker A:Some have.
Speaker A:And you know what?
Speaker A:Me included.
Speaker A:I've seen, I've had that experience.
Speaker A: ,: Speaker A:If you're really interested about hearing about that, go back, find a video where I shared my testimony.
Speaker A:But I know that.
Speaker A:I know that.
Speaker A:I know that.
Speaker A:I know Jesus showed up in that little dumpy apartment.
Speaker A:I know it.
Speaker A:I was there.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And that one encounter changed my life forever.
Speaker A:I literally would not be here right now doing what I'm doing.
Speaker A:Literally speaking literally, I'd be dead, dead, dead and in hell.
Speaker A:But God.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Now, let me ask you again.
Speaker A:Have you ever been praying?
Speaker A:That simple but powerful prayer, Lord, what would you have me to do?
Speaker A:I mean, you've been waiting, you've been listening, been trying to be obedient.
Speaker A:Then suddenly there's that little gentle, we'll call it a nudge, that unexplainable unction.
Speaker A:Do this.
Speaker A:And for a Moment, your spirit leaps and then your mind catches up and hesitates.
Speaker A:You wonder, did I really hear from God?
Speaker A:Was that him or is that just me?
Speaker A:We've all been there.
Speaker A:Standing at the crossroads between faith and fear, between revelation and reason.
Speaker A:I mean, you love God.
Speaker A:You've been serving him with all your might.
Speaker A:You're doing what you know how to do.
Speaker A:But somehow, deep down, something starts to stir.
Speaker A:God begins to whisper, I'm calling you up higher.
Speaker A:I'm calling you deeper.
Speaker A:I'm calling you to realign your priorities right now.
Speaker A:Let me show you something.
Speaker A:Using a well known biblical Persona, he thought he was serving God with all his heart.
Speaker A:He was well educated, highly trained, fervent in spirit, 100% dedicated to what he believed.
Speaker A:And that one day, the Lord grabbed his attention.
Speaker A:So forcefully, so undeniably, that his entire life was turned upside down.
Speaker A:Now, if you don't know who I'm talking about, maybe you do.
Speaker A:Saul of Tarsus.
Speaker A:Acts chapter nine.
Speaker A:Turn over there.
Speaker A:Acts chapter nine.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Brother Bob, I thought you were going to talk about a Red Lair crusade.
Speaker A:We are, we are.
Speaker A:Just hold on a second.
Speaker A:Acts chapter nine tells us Saul was on his way to Damascus, breathing threats against the followers of Jesus.
Speaker A:He was zealous.
Speaker A:I mean, he was passionate.
Speaker A:He was convinced he was doing God's work.
Speaker A:What he didn't realize was his zeal had blinded him to the truth.
Speaker A:He was busy defending God's law, but fighting God's son.
Speaker A:And on that dusty road, heaven interrupted his plans.
Speaker A:Turn to Acts chapter 9 and verse 3.
Speaker A:I want you to see this.
Speaker A:He fell to the earth.
Speaker A:Heard a voice saying him, saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?
Speaker A:We're going to read verses three to six, okay?
Speaker A:So if you have your Bibles, turn over there.
Speaker A:He says, as he came near to diocese, suddenly there's this light shine about him.
Speaker A:From heaven he fell to the earth.
Speaker A:Heard a voice say, saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?
Speaker A:Now, obviously, Saul.
Speaker A:The obvious question is, who you?
Speaker A:Who are you?
Speaker A:And notice he said, who are you, Lord?
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:He wasn't calling them, you know.
Speaker A:Lord Jehovah.
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:He said, master, if you, whoever you are, I'm here to serve you because you just knocked me straight to the ground, right?
Speaker A:He's saying, you are my master.
Speaker A:In other words, he was in submission to whoever it was was just speaking to him right there.
Speaker A:And the Lord said, I am Jesus Yeshua, whom you're persecuting.
Speaker A:It's hard for you to kick against the Pricks.
Speaker A:And he, trembling in astonished, said, lord, what do you want me to do?
Speaker A:There it is, the same question.
Speaker A:You have probably prayed a hundred times, Lord, what would you have me to do?
Speaker A:What is it Lord, you want me to do is another way of phrasing that.
Speaker A:But notice what happens before Saul can receive his next instruction.
Speaker A:God first has to stop him.
Speaker A:He's blinding them.
Speaker A:He has to interrupt his rhythm so he can redirect his purpose.
Speaker A:Now, let me tell you something right there.
Speaker A:Sometimes before God gives you a new direction, he has to disrupt your old direction, your old way of doing things, your old way of thinking.
Speaker A:In other words, you're in your own rhythm.
Speaker A:You've heard me use that phrase a lot recently at least you've been listening to this program.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Rhythm.
Speaker A:You have your own rhythm that you're used to.
Speaker A:You get up at a certain time, leave for work at a certain time, eat at a certain time, watch TV at certain times, go to bed at a certain time.
Speaker A:That's your rhythm that you're used to.
Speaker A:When you're at work.
Speaker A:There are certain things you do more or less on a schedule.
Speaker A:That's your rhythm.
Speaker A:And when something disrupts your natural rhythm, you could say it catches your attention.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Well, that's what Jesus has to do to get your attention, too.
Speaker A:He has to stop you long enough to get your attention.
Speaker A:And it's not punishment, folks.
Speaker A:It's called preparation.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Because when God speaks, he's not making noise.
Speaker A:He's moving something.
Speaker A:He's realigning something.
Speaker A:He's awakening something inside of you that's been waiting to come alive.
Speaker A:Jesus said in John, chapter 10, verse 27, My sheep hear my voice.
Speaker A:I know them.
Speaker A:They know me.
Speaker A:They follow me.
Speaker A:That means God is still speaking, not just to prophets, not just to preachers, not just to pastors, but to every person, every son, every daughter who belongs to him.
Speaker A:So the real question is not is God speaking?
Speaker A:The real question is, are you listening?
Speaker A:Oh, that's deep, Lord, isn't it?
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:You see, sometimes we get so used to hearing everything else, we can't recognize when God's actually talking.
Speaker A:I mean, we scroll, we stress, we seek confirmation from other people.
Speaker A:When the creator of the universe is whispering truth straight to our spirit.
Speaker A:We're trained to hear noise, but we've forgotten how to hear his voice.
Speaker A:And that's what today's message is all about.
Speaker A:This isn't information.
Speaker A:It's revelation.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Because once you understand how God speaks, you'll never again Be confused about his will.
Speaker A:Once you recognize his tone, you'll never again doubt his direction.
Speaker A:So let's get ready to go deeper here.
Speaker A:Let's talk about what it really looks like when God is speaking to you.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Because there are undeniable biblical signs, clear markers that reveal when heaven is trying to get your attention.
Speaker A:And I believe that by the time we finish today's word, you're going to walk out of here knowing exactly what God's been saying and how he expects you to respond.
Speaker A:Alright, so let's begin with the first sign.
Speaker A:God doesn't always come to comfort you.
Speaker A:Sometimes he comes to confront you because that's the only way he can change you.
Speaker A:That means God will sometimes disrupt your comfort in order to deliver your calling.
Speaker A:Matter of fact, that's point number one.
Speaker A:Write it down.
Speaker A:God will disrupt your comfort to deliver your calling.
Speaker A:Just let that sink in.
Speaker A:Because that's one of the hardest but most freeing truths in the word of God.
Speaker A:You see, Saul's story here.
Speaker A:Doesn'T begin with rebellion.
Speaker A:It begins with routine.
Speaker A:He was doing what he thought was right.
Speaker A:He was defending what he believed was sacred.
Speaker A:But on that road to Damascus, God showed him.
Speaker A:Your routine might be religious, but it's not righteous.
Speaker A:That's what, that's where a lot of believers, maybe even you, find themselves today.
Speaker A:I know I have often.
Speaker A:I finally realized my routine is stopping me from God doing God's work.
Speaker A:Even though in my routine I was doing God's work, but I had made it into a routine and was not being led by the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:That's good, isn't it?
Speaker A:Even though you believe you're doing God's work, if you make it routine, you're not being led by the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:And, and here's an example.
Speaker A:I know this is going to step on some religious toes out there today.
Speaker A:Let me ask you, what time do you go to church?
Speaker A:What time is your church service over?
Speaker A:I bet you can tell me because I've been in church almost all my life and I can tell you almost to the exact minute the answer to each one of those questions.
Speaker A:That's how routine it is.
Speaker A: and ends at: Speaker A:I mean, you could almost set your watch by it.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Now, in these broadcasts that we do, these recordings, yes, we are on a schedule because we have a radio program.
Speaker A:The radio program says it starts here and ends here.
Speaker A:Now I could do a 23 minute sermon.
Speaker A:But I got an hour long radio program.
Speaker A:I mean, they're just going to play music for the rest of the.
Speaker A:If I preach an hour and 12 minutes, last 12 minutes are cut off.
Speaker A:So when you're doing recordings for broadcast, that's a different scenario than preaching in a church.
Speaker A:Okay, so in a church, some of the best services I've been in lasted maybe two and a half hours.
Speaker A:The preaching was just so awesome.
Speaker A:It went on for like an hour and a half.
Speaker A:There were times when there was no preaching.
Speaker A:It was just praise and worship.
Speaker A:The Holy Spirit's moving.
Speaker A:We're just gonna worship today.
Speaker A:I mean, that's not what I go to church for.
Speaker A:That's because you're in a routine.
Speaker A:That's the whole point of today's session.
Speaker A:You gotta learn to flow with the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:You cannot get into a routine.
Speaker A:In fact, you know, I've preached in some churches where if I went over by 10 or 12 minutes and from the platform, you'd swear everyone was checking their watches to see if they all had mysteriously stopped or something.
Speaker A:Those are the folks who've allowed their service of God to become routine.
Speaker A:Instead of focusing on the message the Holy Spirit was trying to convey to them.
Speaker A:They were just punching a time clock.
Speaker A:That's it.
Speaker A:Doing their duty, fulfilling their obligation.
Speaker A: ey made sure they finished by: Speaker A:They were elevating an NFL football game above worshiping God.
Speaker A:Needless to say, I didn't go to those churches very long.
Speaker A:They thought they were worshiping God, but in reality they're saying, hey, God, Hey, Jesus, I'm here.
Speaker A:Mark me down as present, folks.
Speaker A:That's not worship.
Speaker A:That's not seeking the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul, body and understanding.
Speaker A:But hear me now.
Speaker A:The devil wants you to think and believe.
Speaker A:That's all you have to do is show up, get checked off in the box and go home.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:I know I'm stepping all over those religious toes out there.
Speaker A:I know.
Speaker A:It just scuffed up those nice shiny things you call your religious shoes.
Speaker A:Oh, praise God.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Yes, Lord.
Speaker A:Holy Spirit, just wisdom.
Speaker A:Scuff them up.
Speaker A:Good boy.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:All right, where was I?
Speaker A:Here.
Speaker A:Oh, Jesus.
Speaker A:That wasn't in my notes.
Speaker A:You just got all that for free?
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:With Paul.
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker A:We're talking about Paul here.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:On the road to Damascus, God showed him.
Speaker A:Your routine might be religious, but it is not being righteous.
Speaker A:And that's where a lot of believers find themselves today.
Speaker A:You're busy, but you're not burning.
Speaker A:You're faithful, but not fruitful.
Speaker A:You're consistent, but not connected.
Speaker A:You're doing for God, but you stopped listening to God.
Speaker A:Oh, yeah.
Speaker A:Let me tell you something.
Speaker A:When the voice of God shows up, it doesn't come to maintain your comfort.
Speaker A:It comes to provoke you to transformation.
Speaker A:It doesn't come to pat you on the back.
Speaker A:It comes to pull you up to purpose.
Speaker A:Because God loves you too much to leave you where you are when he knows there's more inside of you than what you have been living already.
Speaker A:He wants to raise you up to his level.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Acts, chapter nine, verse four says.
Speaker A:And we're talking about Paul here.
Speaker A:He says, and Paul fell to the earth.
Speaker A:Heard a voice say to him, saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:That's a divine confrontation.
Speaker A:That's God saying, you think you're fighting for me, but you're actually fighting against me.
Speaker A:You're fighting against my plans.
Speaker A:You're trying to stop me from moving in greater ways.
Speaker A:And isn't that just like us sometimes, right?
Speaker A:We think we're doing the right thing, defending the faith, working hard, staying loyal.
Speaker A:But deep down, we're headed in a direction that does not align with God's destiny for us.
Speaker A:So what does God do?
Speaker A:What does he do?
Speaker A:He interrupts us.
Speaker A:He flips the lights on.
Speaker A:He blinds Saul in the natural so he can finally help him see in the spiritual.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:If you keep reading, it says, for three days, all Paul did was pray and fast.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Sometimes God has to block your natural sight to open your spiritual vision.
Speaker A:He'll stop you in your tracks if necessary.
Speaker A:Not because he's mad at you, but because he's about to move through you.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:And here's what I love about Jesus.
Speaker A:Words in that moment.
Speaker A:These are red letters here now.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Read it.
Speaker A:Not.
Speaker A:Acts 9, 5 records.
Speaker A:Jesus say, I am Jesus, whom you're persecuting.
Speaker A:It's hard for you to kick against the pricks.
Speaker A:Now, that's not slang terminology like it's used today, okay?
Speaker A:If you look it up in the concordance, the actual translation says, it's hard for you to kick against the cattle prods.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:So if you try kicking against someone who's poking you with iron cattle prods, you'd get hurt.
Speaker A:You hurt yourself.
Speaker A:That's what Jesus is trying to get across to Paul here.
Speaker A:Jesus is telling Paul, I've been trying to get you to go in one direction.
Speaker A:You keep trying to go over here, boy.
Speaker A:Stop resisting what I'm doing.
Speaker A:Stop fighting the very hand that's trying to guide you.
Speaker A:Now, there are some people listening right now.
Speaker A:Yes, you.
Speaker A:God's been nudging you.
Speaker A:He's been stirring you.
Speaker A:He's been disrupting your peace in the areas where you've gotten routine, you've gotten too comfortable.
Speaker A:And you keep calling these little nudges to do something.
Speaker A:You keep calling it the enemy, when in actuality it's the Holy Spirit saying, hey, I'm trying to get your attention here.
Speaker A:You see, God doesn't always speak through peace and serenity.
Speaker A:Sometimes he speaks through a shaking.
Speaker A:When the ground beneath you starts moving, that's not always destruction.
Speaker A:Sometimes it's divine construction.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:He's arranging what's around you to awaken what's within you.
Speaker A:Jesus said in John 15:2, Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes it so he may bring forth more fruit.
Speaker A:That pruning is painful.
Speaker A:Think about it.
Speaker A:Did you ever have a hangnail cut out of your finger?
Speaker A:Oh, it hurts.
Speaker A:Oh man, that hurts.
Speaker A:But afterwards, oh, it feels so good when it heals.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:That pruning, when God cuts it, yeah, it hurts.
Speaker A:But he doesn't cut to hurt you.
Speaker A:He cuts to heal you.
Speaker A:He removes the object that is affecting you.
Speaker A:Not to reject, but to refine you.
Speaker A:So when you feel that disruption, don't panic.
Speaker A:That's time to lean in.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:When the job feels uncomfortable, when the relationship feels unsettled, when your plans start falling apart, that might just be God pulling you out of a season or situation that can no longer hold your next level.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:And let's be honest, some of us have been praying for clarity but avoiding the change.
Speaker A:We want God to speak, but we don't want him to change anything.
Speaker A:We want a word from heaven, but we don't want a wake up call.
Speaker A:And yet every major calling in Scripture begins with a divine disruption.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Think about it.
Speaker A:Moses was tending sheep when God lit up a bush, right?
Speaker A:Peter was fishing when Jesus said, cast your net on the other side, boy.
Speaker A:Matthew was collecting taxes when Jesus called him out of his comfort zone.
Speaker A:And Saul the scholar, the Pharisee, the man of great reputation, had to be knocked down so he could be raised up.
Speaker A:Glory to God.
Speaker A:Don't shut me down.
Speaker A:I'm preaching.
Speaker A:Good.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:God will allow life to frustrate your flesh if that's the only way he can free your spirit.
Speaker A:He'll shake what's false to reveal what's real.
Speaker A:And he does it not to destroy you, but to deliver you.
Speaker A:That's why you can't curse your crisis.
Speaker A:The very moment of confusion, that very moment may be the birthplace of your calling.
Speaker A:That disruption is not always the devil.
Speaker A:Sometime it is divine direction.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:God is saying, I'm not trying to take something from you, boy.
Speaker A:I'm trying to take you somewhere new.
Speaker A:Acts 9, verse 6.
Speaker A:And he, trembling, Saul, astonished, said, lord, what would you have me to do?
Speaker A:Oh, praise God.
Speaker A:Right there.
Speaker A:Saul stopped to lead.
Speaker A:Started to listen.
Speaker A:Praise you, Jesus.
Speaker A:He didn't argue.
Speaker A:He didn't negotiate.
Speaker A:He didn't defend his reputation.
Speaker A:He didn't say, what are other people gonna think if I do this, Jesus?
Speaker A:He didn't do any of that.
Speaker A:He surrendered.
Speaker A:And think about that.
Speaker A:He surrendered to the one whom he had vowed, vowed to eradicate.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Think about that.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:That's the shift from religion to relationship, from doing for God to hearing from God.
Speaker A:And that's where a lot of so called Christian believers have been failing.
Speaker A:Traditionalism has blinded their ability to see and to hear the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Thank you Jesus for that.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Thank you Jesus for that.
Speaker A:That wasn't Pastor Bob, that was Jesus right there.
Speaker A:Praise man.
Speaker A:So with Paul and what happens next?
Speaker A:Saul receives instructions, doesn't he?
Speaker A:He has to be led by others.
Speaker A:He can't lead himself now.
Speaker A:He has to be led by others.
Speaker A:And he enters this season, I'll call it a few days of blindness, where God is rewiring his vision.
Speaker A:We call it that, right?
Speaker A:Three days later, the same man who persecuted the church is filled with the Holy Spirit, baptized and renamed from Saul to Paul the apostle who will shake the nations.
Speaker A:But notice, none of that happens without disruption.
Speaker A:None of that happens without God stepping in, saying, enough already, I'm done with this.
Speaker A:I'm changing your direction.
Speaker A:He's seen the zeal Paul had.
Speaker A:He could use that for the kingdom.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So he comes in and says, paul, we're gonna give you a new assignment, boy.
Speaker A:So hear me.
Speaker A:The disruption in your life right now may be the doorway to your destiny.
Speaker A:The discomfort you're feeling is not a punishment.
Speaker A:It's a prophetic signal.
Speaker A:Heaven saying, you stayed long enough on this mountain.
Speaker A:Time to move.
Speaker A:In the military, we call that a mission assignment.
Speaker A:When you've accomplished your last mission, you're dug in, a resupply has taken taken place.
Speaker A:You're now rested up, get cleaned up, had something good to eat.
Speaker A:And you're all encouraged by the past victories.
Speaker A:About that time, new orders come down, a new mission.
Speaker A:It's never to retreat.
Speaker A:It's always to press forward into battle again and again and again.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:To take more ground.
Speaker A:To defeat the enemy in that territory.
Speaker A:To deliver the captives and set them free.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:It's not comfortable, it's not pleasant, it's not fun, but it's needful.
Speaker A:And you're the one who's in position to accomplish that mission.
Speaker A:It's the same way with the body of Christ.
Speaker A:Think about it.
Speaker A:If you're a Christian, you're just not called to get born again.
Speaker A:Then kick back, take it easy till it's time to go to heaven.
Speaker A:No, you're not just called to sit and wait for the war to be over.
Speaker A:You have become a warrior for Christ.
Speaker A:And now he's giving you a mission.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:You see, God's not trying to make you comfortable.
Speaker A:No, he's trying to make you consecrated.
Speaker A:And sometimes the only way to do that is to shake the ground beneath your feet so that you can finally stand by faith instead of familiarity.
Speaker A:So before we move on to the next point, remember this.
Speaker A:When God's voice interrupts your plans, it's not rejection of what you're doing, it's a redirection.
Speaker A:He's not pushing you away, he's pulling you into your purpose.
Speaker A:What feels like a breakdown is really a breakthrough in disguise.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Alright, point two.
Speaker A:Write this down.
Speaker A:The word will be rhema.
Speaker A:The word will be rhema.
Speaker A:His voice is in the verse.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So let's look at this a little deeper.
Speaker A:Because one of the clearest ways God speaks is through His Word.
Speaker A:I'm not just talking about reading the Bible like a textbook.
Speaker A:Well, January 1st, I start Genesis 1:1.
Speaker A:And on December 31st, I'm at Revelation 22.
Speaker A:I'm talking about those moments.
Speaker A:I mean, if that's all you do, praise God for it.
Speaker A:But that's reading it like a textbook, alright?
Speaker A:I'm talking about those moments when you open the Word and suddenly a verse you've read a hundred times jumps off the page like it was just written for you.
Speaker A:It pierces through your confusion.
Speaker A:It answers questions you didn't even know how to ask.
Speaker A:That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker A:And something inside of you says, that's it.
Speaker A:That's him.
Speaker A:That's what I needed to hear.
Speaker A:I remember when that happened to me.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:I'm not gonna go into my calling right now, but that day changed my life forever.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And it's not coincidence.
Speaker A:It's called rhema, not logos, the written word.
Speaker A:It's rhema, the living word.
Speaker A:It's the moment when what's written becomes what's spoken.
Speaker A:That's how God personalizes his Word for your situation.
Speaker A:Hebrews 4:12 says, for the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing part of splendid soul and spirit.
Speaker A:A discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Speaker A:You see, God's word doesn't just speak to you, it speaks through you.
Speaker A:For you sometimes about you.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Those are important ones.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:God's word will reach places no conversation with another person could reach, no sermon could satisfy, no human advice could fix.
Speaker A:Because the word of God doesn't just inform, it transforms.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Jesus himself said in John.
Speaker A:6, I think it is 6, 62, 63, somewhere in that area, he says, the words, I speak to you.
Speaker A:They are spirit and they are life.
Speaker A:Those are red letter words, folks.
Speaker A:Red letters right there.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:That means his words carry divine breath.
Speaker A:They're not just empty sentences you read.
Speaker A:They're spiritual energy for your soul.
Speaker A:When you read them with an open heart, the red letter words will activate something supernatural inside of you.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:His red letter words carry more authority than all of the rest of the black letters combined.
Speaker A:Oh, I know that riled some feathers there.
Speaker A:Oh, thank you Jesus for that.
Speaker A:I know that got somebody's attention.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:That was the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Because Jesus is the Word made flesh.
Speaker A:He is God in the flesh.
Speaker A:His words are life.
Speaker A:The black letter words, may I say, may have been inspired.
Speaker A:The black letter words were written down.
Speaker A:Okay, I get that.
Speaker A:But the red letter words were not inspired.
Speaker A:Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute.
Speaker A:What do you mean by that?
Speaker A:Brother Bob, listen to me.
Speaker A:Black letter words may have been inspired and they were wrote down by men who were inspired to write them down.
Speaker A:I'd get that.
Speaker A:But the red letter words were spoken by Jesus, who is God in the flesh.
Speaker A:Do you see the difference?
Speaker A:If not, pray about it and Holy Spirit will have to remove the scales from your eyes.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:That wasn't my note, but I'll just give it to you for free.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:But that's why when the Word comes alive, it feels like prophecy, like heaven is underlining that verse in bold print.
Speaker A:Like Jesus is saying, pay attention.
Speaker A:I'm talking to you here.
Speaker A:He didn't imagine it.
Speaker A:That was divine revelation.
Speaker A:That's the spirit of God turning the written word into the spoken word.
Speaker A:Logos to rhema.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Now that's where this book right here comes in.
Speaker A:The red letter words.
Speaker A:WDJS book Project.
Speaker A:What did Jesus say?
Speaker A:Seven messages from the Master.
Speaker A:Amen, folks.
Speaker A:I believe one of the reasons this generation struggles to recognize God's voice is because we've stopped listening to the red letters.
Speaker A:Oh, we're good at quoting opinions and reposting inspiration and following voices online, but not too good on opening the Bible up and hearing God's voice for ourselves.
Speaker A:Well, the WDJS book Project, it's just not another devotional idea.
Speaker A:It's a divine mandate.
Speaker A:It's an invitation to return to what Jesus actually said.
Speaker A:Because when you know his words, you know his heart, when you know his tone, you recognize his truth.
Speaker A:And when the word of Christ is alive in you, you'll stop mistaking emotions for revelation.
Speaker A:Let me show you something.
Speaker A:Turn over here to Matthew, chapter 11.
Speaker A:Let's just turn over here to Matthew, chapter 11.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Matthew 11, verse 15.
Speaker A:Listen there.
Speaker A:He that has ears to hear, let him hear.
Speaker A:Notice he didn't say he that has ears to listen.
Speaker A:No, he said ears to hear.
Speaker A:That means hearing with understanding, with revelation, with discernment.
Speaker A:Because you can have ears and still be deaf to the spirit.
Speaker A:So when you open your Bible, it not about finishing a reading plan.
Speaker A:It's about finding his voice.
Speaker A:And sometimes that voice will sound like conviction.
Speaker A:Sometimes it'll comfort you, sometimes it'll correct you.
Speaker A:But every single time, it will be Christ speaking.
Speaker A:And it'll sound like him.
Speaker A:Because the Jesus.
Speaker A:Jesus never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever contradicted scripture.
Speaker A:No, he confirmed it.
Speaker A:He confirms Scripture.
Speaker A:He is Scripture.
Speaker A:He's all of it, from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22.
Speaker A:That's Jesus.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:So let me ask you.
Speaker A:I know I've had this happen a lot.
Speaker A:Have you ever had that moment when a verse keeps showing up everywhere you turn?
Speaker A:You saw it in your morning reading, then it pops up on your phone, then you hear it on a sermon on a radio.
Speaker A:That's not random.
Speaker A:That's reinforcement.
Speaker A:That's God saying, I'm repeating myself so you don't miss this dummy.
Speaker A:Here's a revelation.
Speaker A:God's word does not ever have an expiration date.
Speaker A:God was the same in the beginning.
Speaker A:He's in the same for eternity.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:His word does not have an expiration date.
Speaker A:You might have read it years ago, years ago.
Speaker A:But when the Holy Spirit breathes on it, it becomes brand new all over again.
Speaker A:So I. Psalm 119, 105.
Speaker A:I think the words, a lamp unto my feet and a light onto my path.
Speaker A:Because God's word doesn't just show you the destination, it shows you the next step.
Speaker A:It lights up that next step for you.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:He speaks through scripture, not to give you the full map, but to give you enough light to keep walking in faith.
Speaker A:You know, when I was in the cavalry.
Speaker A:My job.
Speaker A:One of the jobs I had was working in the S3 shop.
Speaker A:And when we were deployed, we had a big map of the division battle area, and we had a map of our sector that we were supposed to operate in.
Speaker A:And if I had to go to Division, they had a huge map up there, right?
Speaker A:Because at Division, that's God looking at the big, big battle pan plan out there, right?
Speaker A:And they say, okay, this is what the enemy is doing.
Speaker A:I've got people here and here, and we need to go ahead and maneuver up here in order to attack here.
Speaker A:And then they come up with their new mission assignment for the cavalry, right?
Speaker A:And says, okay, this is your sector.
Speaker A:This is what you guys need to do.
Speaker A:And I take that back to squadron.
Speaker A:They put it up on the map and say, okay, this is where we got to maneuver.
Speaker A:This is what we're going to do up here.
Speaker A:So you don't see.
Speaker A:And from there, let me take that down the next level.
Speaker A:Each troop in the squadron gets a little sector they're responsible for.
Speaker A:Then the tank commanders and scout leaders, they get their little sector they're responsible for.
Speaker A:So the tank commander does not see the whole division map on the board, okay?
Speaker A:He's only responsible for his little sector.
Speaker A:So when you're reading scripture, you don't see God's whole battle plan spread out.
Speaker A:He sees what's coming down the road.
Speaker A:He sees what's happening on the right flank and the left flank.
Speaker A:So he's maneuvering his forces, that's you, into position to block and attack and take that ground.
Speaker A:You don't need to know what's happening in India or Pakistan or when God's telling you, go next door and witness to that person right there.
Speaker A:That's your job.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Well, it could just be.
Speaker A:I'm just throwing this out there as a hypothetical.
Speaker A:That person gets born again.
Speaker A:He shares that with his son.
Speaker A:His son becomes a senator, and the senator is now Placed in the future over the Department of Defense.
Speaker A:But because you witnessed to his dad got him born again, The Son's born again.
Speaker A:Everybody's listening from the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:You see how all this starts fitting together?
Speaker A:That's just one possibility.
Speaker A:That's from the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:The point being, God is telling you your mission as a tank commander.
Speaker A:Take care of this terrain here.
Speaker A:That means witnessing to your next door neighbor.
Speaker A:God sees the overall battle plan into the future.
Speaker A:He starts maneuvering things around because you were obedient in doing what you're doing.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Alright.
Speaker A: sus said it like this in John: Speaker A:The comforter was the Holy Spirit will teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance.
Speaker A:Which whatever it is, I've said to you.
Speaker A:There's that little phrasing of whatever I said, whatever I've said.
Speaker A:That's the WGJS Revelation.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:This is the what did Jesus say?
Speaker A:Revelation book.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:The Spirit reminds you of what Jesus said.
Speaker A:Because what Jesus said still speaks.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:You see, the word doesn't get old.
Speaker A:It gets deeper.
Speaker A:Every time you open the Bible with an open heart, the author will show up.
Speaker A:The same Jesus who spoke to the disciples through parables now speaks to your spirit through pages.
Speaker A:So have you been saying, God, I need a word.
Speaker A:I need a word from you.
Speaker A:He's saying, I've given you my word.
Speaker A:Open it.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Because the whisper you're waiting for might already be written down.
Speaker A:And when you open the word, Heaven opens with it.
Speaker A:Your blessings open with it too.
Speaker A:The answers you seek open with it.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And here's how to know.
Speaker A:Here's how you can know.
Speaker A:It's rhema.
Speaker A:It hits you in the exact place your soul needs healing at that moment.
Speaker A:It addresses the things you didn't even tell anyone about.
Speaker A:It brings tears or peace or conviction that no one could have produced on their own.
Speaker A:Folks, that is not emotion.
Speaker A:That's called an encounter.
Speaker A:That's the Word doing what only God's word can do.
Speaker A:Divided between soul and spirit, truth and illusion, confusion and clarity.
Speaker A:Let me tell you this.
Speaker A:Once you've tasted the living word, you will never again be satisfied with superficial religion anymore.
Speaker A:You want the real deal.
Speaker A:The red letter words.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Once you've heard him speak through scripture, you'll never again doubt whether he's speaking to you.
Speaker A:Because now you know the sound of his voice.
Speaker A:It's in the red letters.
Speaker A:It's in the pages.
Speaker A:It's in the stillness.
Speaker A:It's in the quiet moment when Heaven touches your heart through them.
Speaker A:You won't find it in your denominational traditions.
Speaker A:You won't find it in the feel good preaching.
Speaker A:You won't find it in churches that try to preach to everyone but really never say a word about anything.
Speaker A:Don't write me your nasty emails.
Speaker A:I don't read them anyway.
Speaker A:If that hit you between your spiritual eyes, it's because the Holy Spirit just slapped you upside the head and said, pay attention here, boy.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Oh, thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A:So if you want to hear God clearly, stop waiting for thunder and start opening your Bible.
Speaker A:Because every word Jesus ever spoke still carries power and authority today.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:That's again why this WDJS book project matters so much.
Speaker A:It's not nostalgia, it's navigation.
Speaker A:It's how we tune our spirit to the same frequency as God's word.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:When the verse becomes your answer, when Scripture becomes your soundtrack, when what he said becomes what you stand on, that's when you stop living by reaction and start living by revelation.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Because when the word becomes rhema, you stop asking, is God speaking to me?
Speaker A:And the only thing you can say then is, yes, Lord, I hear you.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:All right, I think I pounded that down enough.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Let's move on.
Speaker A:We're running out of time.
Speaker A:Oh, man.
Speaker A:Write this down.
Speaker A:Point three.
Speaker A:Closed doors speak.
Speaker A:Also, let me tell you something that will save you a lot of sleepless nights.
Speaker A:God speaks just as loudly through closed doors as he does through open doors.
Speaker A:We love to praise him for when he opens a door, but sometimes his greatest mercy shows up in what he shuts and keeps closed.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Revelation 3:7 says, what he opens, no man can shut.
Speaker A:What he shuts, no man can open.
Speaker A:That verse isn't just about promotion.
Speaker A:It's about protection.
Speaker A:Because a shut door doesn't always mean denial.
Speaker A:Sometimes it means deliverance and safety.
Speaker A:God isn't saying no to punish you.
Speaker A:He's saying no to protect you.
Speaker A:Let me ask you something practical.
Speaker A:Do you lock your doors at night?
Speaker A:Do you lock your car when you park it somewhere?
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:It's not because you hate the neighborhood.
Speaker A:Because you don't want anybody taking what doesn't belong to them.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:You're not trying to be mean, you're just trying to be wise.
Speaker A:You're protecting what has value to you.
Speaker A:When I was growing up, back in the 60s, we almost never locked our door, even if we were going to the store for three or four hours.
Speaker A:Does anybody remember those days?
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:We'd leave the Door wide open, maybe the screen door, be a little latch on it, but that's it.
Speaker A:And never think twice about it.
Speaker A:My grandfather, he never locked his car.
Speaker A:He leave the car, driveway, windows down, keys in the ignition.
Speaker A:Nobody ever touched it.
Speaker A:But we lived in a different time back then, didn't we?
Speaker A:A different spirit in the world.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Today, you better lock your doors, better set the alarm, put up cameras, pray Psalm 91 over the property before going to bed.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:I mean, think about this.
Speaker A:We even lock the doors when we're at home in the daytime.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Why do we do that?
Speaker A:Because times have changed and we understand the value of protection.
Speaker A:And if we know how to lock doors to keep thieves out, what makes us think God won't do the same thing in our lives to keep the devil out?
Speaker A:Sometimes God locks a door because he knows something's trying to steal your peace.
Speaker A:He'll close an opportunity because he sees danger you can't detect.
Speaker A:He'll keep a relationship from working because there's a trap you haven't noticed.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:He's not trying to rob you of a blessing.
Speaker A:He's protecting you from burglary of the soul.
Speaker A:So when we shout when he opens a door, but we pout when he closes one, we call it disappointment.
Speaker A:God calls it direction.
Speaker A:Because the same hand that opens opportunity is the same hand that blocks destruction.
Speaker A:I love what Jesus said in John.
Speaker A:13.
Speaker A:I think it is, you do not realize what I'm doing now, but you'll understand it later.
Speaker A:Hey, man, there's that red letter truth again.
Speaker A:You may not understand it in the moment, but you'll thank him in the aftermath.
Speaker A:Because God sees the whole picture while we're focused on this one little small piece.
Speaker A:I mean, how many times have we begged God to open a door that we find out later would have crushed us if he did?
Speaker A:How many times we cried over an opportunity that looked good but would have drained our faith dry?
Speaker A:How many times have we said, lord, why didn't.
Speaker A:Why didn't you let that happen?
Speaker A:Only look back later, say, ooh.
Speaker A:That's why, you see.
Speaker A:Open doors test your faith.
Speaker A:Closed doors test your trust.
Speaker A:And trust is the real measure of intimacy with God.
Speaker A:It's easy to believe God when the door swings wide and everything lines up.
Speaker A:But it takes maturity to lift your hands.
Speaker A:When seven says, when Heaven tells you, not this one, not now, he says, thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A: modeled this himself in Luke: Speaker A:He said, Father, if it's possible, let this cup pass from me.
Speaker A:But nevertheless, not my will, but your will be done.
Speaker A:There's that word again.
Speaker A:Nevertheless, Jesus is asking if there's some other way.
Speaker A:But if not, okay, I just trust you.
Speaker A:And that's the posture.
Speaker A:That you get when you peacefully see the door stays locked.
Speaker A:That's when the Word reminds you, even when I don't understand you, just say, I still trust you, Jesus.
Speaker A:I trust your plan.
Speaker A:That's how you know you're growing in God.
Speaker A:When you can say, lord, I just trust you with closed doors, just like I trust you with open ones.
Speaker A:Because sometimes his no is just a disguised not yet.
Speaker A:Sometimes his silence is a setup.
Speaker A:Sometimes the thing you thought was lost was never meant to last.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Let's look at Paul again.
Speaker A:Acts 16, verse 6 says, as the Holy Ghost forbid him to preach in Asia, wouldn't permit them to go to Bithynia.
Speaker A:Imagine that the great apostle Paul wanted to go preach and heaven said no.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because Macedonia was waiting.
Speaker A:Because Europe was in a position to hear.
Speaker A:Because the Gospel was about to go global.
Speaker A:But he didn't know that that closed door in Asia was open.
Speaker A:A bigger door in another direction.
Speaker A:My calling.
Speaker A:Okay, I'll briefly share this part.
Speaker A:My call is from Ezekiel, chapter two and three is very specific.
Speaker A:Lord said, I'm not calling you.
Speaker A:Go to foreign land where their speech is hard for you to understand.
Speaker A:I'm calling to the people of your own nation.
Speaker A:Because they don't want to hear what I have to say.
Speaker A:They don't want to hear what I am saying to them.
Speaker A:But that's okay, you know, Said I made your head harder than their heads.
Speaker A:Folks, I was called a hard head my entire life, only to find out God made me that way for his purpose.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And I've had numerous invitations, numerous opportunities to go and preach overseas.
Speaker A:When I prayed about it, these scriptures always came back to my forefront.
Speaker A:They came right up in front of my eyes as I had to turn every one of them down.
Speaker A:Because my calling is here for America, not in foreign lands.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Well, take a look at America today and you'll see why.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:This country needs Jesus in a bad way right now.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:All right, all right.
Speaker A:Enough on that.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:That's why you got to stop seeing closed doors as punishment and start seeing them as preparation.
Speaker A:God's no is never meant to hurt you.
Speaker A:It's to help you.
Speaker A:He's not closing it because you failed.
Speaker A:He's closing it because you're favored.
Speaker A:He knows what's behind every door.
Speaker A:He knows what could rob you of joy, peace, purity, and purpose.
Speaker A:And just like you lock your doors at night to protect your family and valuables, he'll lock certain doors in your life to protect your value to him, too.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:In heaven's language, a closed door is not rejection, it's redirection.
Speaker A:It's God saying, this isn't where you need to go.
Speaker A:I've got something better.
Speaker A:And if you can praise him for open doors, you got to learn how to thank him for closed ones, too.
Speaker A:Oh, that's good, Lord.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:You need to write that down.
Speaker A:Write that right.
Speaker A:That was for somebody somewhere, right there.
Speaker A:If you can praise him for open doors, you got to learn how to thank him for closed ones, too.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Yes, sir.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Because the same God who locks one door is already already unlocking another one.
Speaker A:When that one opens, you'll see exactly why he said no to that one.
Speaker A:You realize his time is perfect.
Speaker A:His hand was guiding you the whole time, always working for your good.
Speaker A:So next time you hear that spiritual click, the door, that won't happen.
Speaker A:No matter how hard you push, don't kick it, don't cry, don't question.
Speaker A:Just say, thank you, Lord, for protecting what's yours.
Speaker A:That includes me.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Sometimes God closes a door to keep you out.
Speaker A:Sometimes he keeps it closed to keep something dangerous from getting in.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Point number four.
Speaker A:Write this down.
Speaker A:Peace is the signature of God's presence.
Speaker A:When God speaks, His voice always carries peace.
Speaker A:Not the peace that comes from everything going right, but the kind that shows up when nothing makes any sense and you still know that it's going to be okay.
Speaker A:Philippians 4.
Speaker A:7 says, the peace of God that pass all understanding will keep your hearts and minds.
Speaker A:How?
Speaker A:Through Christ Jesus.
Speaker A:That means peace is not a feeling, it's a guard.
Speaker A:It stands watch over your mind and your emotions.
Speaker A:That peace isn't found in control, it's found in trust.
Speaker A: Jesus said in John: Speaker A:My peace I give to you.
Speaker A:Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.
Speaker A:That's the red letter.
Speaker A:Peace.
Speaker A:Not the world's kind, but the kind that comes when his presence is real.
Speaker A:You don't get that peace by figuring everything out.
Speaker A:You get it by handing everything over.
Speaker A:When you're trying to discern if something's from God, check the peace.
Speaker A:If it's Him.
Speaker A:There is calm in your spirit, even when circumstances around you are shaking.
Speaker A:If peace disappears, that's the Holy Spirit waving that caution flag.
Speaker A:Slow down.
Speaker A:Wait.
Speaker A:Because peace is the umpire of your decisions, it makes the call when your emotions can't.
Speaker A:Isaiah 26:3 says, you will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you.
Speaker A:So when peace fades, it's not because God moved, it's because your focus moved.
Speaker A:Shift your attention back to him and the peace will return.
Speaker A:The enemy can take.
Speaker A:He can fake passion, power, pleasure.
Speaker A:He cannot fake peace.
Speaker A:That's why real peace is one of heaven's signatures.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:When it's present, that's God saying, I'm here.
Speaker A:I'm in this.
Speaker A:You can trust it.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So you're standing before a choice today.
Speaker A:Can't tell what's right?
Speaker A:Just stop and ask, Lord, where's the peace?
Speaker A:Because when you follow peace, you'll find your purpose.
Speaker A:And the closer you walk with God, the more peace becomes your confirmation that his voice is leading you.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So confirmation point five is heaven's echo.
Speaker A:One of the final ways God speaks is through confirmation.
Speaker A:When heaven wants your attention, it doesn't whisper once and walk away.
Speaker A:You'll hear it echo over and over.
Speaker A:2nd Corinthians 13:1 says, in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
Speaker A:That's God's way of saying, I'll just keep repeating myself till you get through your thick head and recognize my voice.
Speaker A:You see, divine confirmation isn't random, it's reinforcement.
Speaker A:Have you ever noticed how the same verse, the same phrase, or the same message keeps showing up everywhere you turn?
Speaker A:You hear it in a sermon, then you see it on your timeline.
Speaker A:Then somebody mentions it in a conversation.
Speaker A:That's not coincidence, folks.
Speaker A:That's confirmation.
Speaker A:That's heaven's echo saying, don't miss this, dummy.
Speaker A: Jesus said in Matthew: Speaker A:When God wants something settled, he'll send it more than one time.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Remember Gideon Judges 6?
Speaker A:He wasn't confident in his calling, so God confirmed it again and again and again.
Speaker A:Through signs, through the fleece, through the enemy's own dream.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because God doesn't want you walking in confusion.
Speaker A:He wants you walking in clarity.
Speaker A:And here's something we all need to understand.
Speaker A:Confirmation is not always dramatic.
Speaker A:Sometimes it's subtle.
Speaker A:A repeated scripture, a quiet inner assurance, a peace that just won't leave when that same word or thought keeps circling back, strength and peace attached.
Speaker A:That's God saying, move now, boy.
Speaker A:Act on this.
Speaker A:There's a balance.
Speaker A:Confirmation always will.
Speaker A:Line up with Scripture.
Speaker A:The Holy Spirit will never say something that contradicts what's written.
Speaker A:So if you're getting a word that doesn't sound like Jesus, it's not from the Father either.
Speaker A:That's how we have to go back to the Word to find out.
Speaker A:That's why the WDGS Book Project exists, to get us re anchored in what did Jesus say?
Speaker A:Because when you know his words, you'll know his ways.
Speaker A:If denominational traditions or church whatever is a problem.
Speaker A:Denominations are organized and formed by man, run by men.
Speaker A:Traditions are a way of doing things that were formed by man and run by man.
Speaker A:Notice who's missing from that definition.
Speaker A:God.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:But the red letters are from God himself, spoken through his son Jesus, written down by eyewitnesses.
Speaker A:When you recognize his tone in scripture, you'll recognize his voice in the Spirit.
Speaker A: John: Speaker A:My sheep hear my voice, I know them, they follow me.
Speaker A:That's Jesus himself.
Speaker A:The red letters confirming that hearing him is normal for those who follow him and belong to him.
Speaker A:So if something keeps showing up, if God keeps sending the same message through different people, don't brush it off.
Speaker A:It's not redundancy, it's a fact of urgency.
Speaker A:He's saying, I love you too much for you to miss this.
Speaker A:When the same truth keeps ringing in your spirit, it's heaven.
Speaker A:Saying, this is the direction, this is the moment.
Speaker A:And when you finally move on what he's been confirming, everything that's been waiting on, your obedience starts to fall into place.
Speaker A:Well, Brother Bob, aren't you against denominations and church structures then?
Speaker A:No, against.
Speaker A:It's kind of like friends.
Speaker A:When they get together, they're your friends, but not family.
Speaker A:They're like minded people, have the same interests, but they're not there to boss you around.
Speaker A:They're friends who are there to support you and whatever it is that you have common interest in.
Speaker A:But denominational traditions, they take you away from the spirit of the red letter spoken by God himself through His Son Jesus.
Speaker A:They try to lift the words of men up, inspired by the Holy Spirit, yes.
Speaker A:But men nonetheless lift those words up to equivalent or preeminent standing with God's own spoken words through God's own son.
Speaker A:How can they do that?
Speaker A:As recorded by the eyewitnesses.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:There should be no question about which one you should follow.
Speaker A:It's kind of like the Supreme Court of the United States.
Speaker A:They make their rulings according to the intent of the founders of this nation.
Speaker A:They try to make their rulings according to the Constitution of the United States, not by political parties.
Speaker A:In today's political climate, that's what the red letters do.
Speaker A:They take us back to God's intent.
Speaker A:Man has twisted and watered down God's words, intent so much he sent Jesus to straighten them out.
Speaker A:And now here we go again.
Speaker A:But this time, when God sends Jesus back, it's not to set us straight.
Speaker A:It's to take those who truly believe home.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Paul's story started with disruption and ended with direction.
Speaker A:A man who once asked, lord, what do you want me to do?
Speaker A:Became the man who said, I press towards the mark of the prize, of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Speaker A:That's what happens when you stop resisting the voice of Jesus and start responding to it.
Speaker A:You've been praying for clarity.
Speaker A:Heaven's been confirming what you've been asking for with a word, and God's been repeating it.
Speaker A:Now it's time to move on.
Speaker A:Not in emotion, but in obedience.
Speaker A:Because faith doesn't hit.
Speaker A:Hear the word, faith acts on it.
Speaker A:If this word has stirred you something in you today, if you know God's been speaking and now you're ready to listen, don't let it fade.
Speaker A:Feed on it.
Speaker A:Do it now.
Speaker A:That's why I invite you to the WDJS book project.
Speaker A:It's not just a Bible study.
Speaker A:It's a movement back to the red letters, back to the source, back to what Jesus actually said.

Speaker A:He is speaking.
Speaker A:The real question is, are you listening?

Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:So don't just hear the red letters.
Speaker A:Live them, speak them, and share them.
