Speaker:

Speaker:

the top resources you need to thrive and make your marketing mesmerized.

Speaker:

And now here's your host dimple.

Speaker:

Dang.

Speaker:

Hello there.

Speaker:

My most amazing marketing crew today, I wanted to take time out to wish everyone

Speaker:

a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

Speaker:

And I really was inspired to get on here and record a message for

Speaker:

you guys, because Thanksgiving is.

Speaker:

a Really important insignificant holiday.

Speaker:

And I want to talk about attitude of gratitude, because I think that it's

Speaker:

really important to have that attitude of gratitude, but sometimes it can be

Speaker:

really difficult when you think about.

Speaker:

All of the things that have gone on, ever since the pandemic started, it really has

Speaker:

been a challenging year for many people.

Speaker:

And a lot of people have lost their loved ones.

Speaker:

Through the pandemic or through cancer, through other things that have happened,

Speaker:

a lot of people have felt isolated.

Speaker:

A lot of people have been uncertain about their, job or their financial situation.

Speaker:

So a lot has gone on.

Speaker:

And I think, you know, with everything that's happened, I think that it's

Speaker:

important to take time today on Thanksgiving to really reflect

Speaker:

on that attitude of gratitude

Speaker:

And see what you can do to have your share of, you know, having that positive

Speaker:

attitude and showing that gratitude and spreading that across the universe.

Speaker:

Because I think it's about not just having that message, but sharing

Speaker:

that message with the world and with those that need it today.

Speaker:

when we talk about.

Speaker:

Gratitude, what it really is.

Speaker:

It's really a solution to like negative emotions and it also neutralizes

Speaker:

envy and hostility and, anger and worry and just, anything that

Speaker:

you might be feeling irritated by.

Speaker:

And it's also about not taking things for granted, and living in the present.

Speaker:

I think living in the present is so important.

Speaker:

And one of the reasons why people are really just, not in a good place

Speaker:

sometimes is because they live in the past or the past always comes up to haunt them,

Speaker:

whether it's there's certain things that have happened in the past that have taken

Speaker:

their confidence away, or maybe there's things that were just very difficult and

Speaker:

trying times that they've been through.

Speaker:

when you think about those things, Of course, they are a part of you and

Speaker:

they shape you to who you are today.

Speaker:

And they're part of your story.

Speaker:

And that's how you can use that in a positive ways.

Speaker:

That's part of your story, but if it's not part of your story, our fair, not

Speaker:

using it in a positive way and you really want to live in the present.

Speaker:

So when we talk about, attitude of gratitude,

Speaker:

I want to share five things about attitude of gratitude that you can do

Speaker:

that are going to help you to really feel that attitude of gratitude.

Speaker:

So number one is to appreciate the little things on a daily basis.

Speaker:

How many times do little things happen?

Speaker:

And we overlook them.

Speaker:

You guys, we overlook them because we're only looking for the big things.

Speaker:

And when you think about it, the big things do happen, but

Speaker:

they don't happen that often.

Speaker:

If you're only waiting for the big things to happen, to show that gratitude,

Speaker:

to show that appreciation Don't start looking at the little things.

Speaker:

Think about the time when you were in a hurry and you were driving

Speaker:

somewhere cause you were running late and you got every green light.

Speaker:

Did you think about showing gratitude for that and saying, oh, well, thank you.

Speaker:

Thank you.

Speaker:

You know, I'm blessed because I got every green light cause I

Speaker:

needed to be somewhere on time.

Speaker:

Or how about when you went to Starbucks and they gave you.

Speaker:

A bigger size coffee, just because, right.

Speaker:

And it's like the little things like that, or it's like someone is in line and

Speaker:

they say, oh, you can go in front of me.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

It's it's all of those little things that happened.

Speaker:

On a daily basis.

Speaker:

It's that little thing of hearing from a friend you haven't heard from

Speaker:

in awhile and they reach out to you.

Speaker:

And I don't even mean by text message.

Speaker:

I mean, they actually pick up the phone and they call you, that's something

Speaker:

that you can, you know, be grateful for.

Speaker:

That's something that you can have that attitude of

Speaker:

gratefulness and showing gratitude.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Number two is that you want to surround yourself with positive and like-minded

Speaker:

people that is really, really important.

Speaker:

And this is something that I've learned in the past, year or so ever

Speaker:

since the pandemic, I realized that.

Speaker:

You know, some of the friends that I had were very negative and they were just

Speaker:

bringing me down and there were very pessimistic or every time they would

Speaker:

call you and they would talk to you.

Speaker:

It was just one negative thing after another.

Speaker:

And one negative story after another.

Speaker:

And after a while, it just begins to sound like a broken record.

Speaker:

And I think that if you're not conscious of who you're surround yourself with,

Speaker:

there's a possibility that other people are going to bring you down.

Speaker:

You really want to surround yourself with people that are positive, that

Speaker:

are like-minded and that lift you up and that don't bring you down.

Speaker:

I think as we're about to go into a new year and pretty much like a month or so,

Speaker:

I think it's also time to think about.

Speaker:

Things in your life that no longer serve you.

Speaker:

I think it's time to think about friendships that you have to let go,

Speaker:

because it was all take, take, take, take, take, and there was no give, right?

Speaker:

So I think that if you want to live a life and you want to be grateful, you

Speaker:

also want to be surrounded by people that.

Speaker:

Give you back and that also love you back.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

So keep that in mind.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Number three.

Speaker:

And this is really important too, is don't isolate yourself.

Speaker:

It's really easy to become isolated during a pandemic.

Speaker:

It's really easy to get wrapped up on social audio apps and also

Speaker:

just, you know, in your own zone.

Speaker:

But I think it's important to take time off for yourself.

Speaker:

It's important to take time off for self care.

Speaker:

It's important to, get out of the house and go meet different

Speaker:

people and do different things.

Speaker:

And I think it's also important to reach out to other people because what

Speaker:

I really miss are the days when people used to pick up the phone and actually

Speaker:

call you and have a conversation.

Speaker:

now, everything is mostly via texts and, you know, I miss that human

Speaker:

interaction of where people would just call you and you can talk to them.

Speaker:

You can hear their voice, you can see the joy, if you're talking to them

Speaker:

via zoom, hearing their voice is very different than a text message.

Speaker:

So I also encourage you.

Speaker:

On Thanksgiving to call your family members and talk to them

Speaker:

and, ask them to do a zoom.

Speaker:

If you can't be together in the same, you know, then the same city, because

Speaker:

a lot of people are traveling, but a lot of people still are not traveling.

Speaker:

And a lot of people also have families that live in different countries.

Speaker:

And some of the countries, even, you know, in Europe are starting

Speaker:

to go on, lock down again.

Speaker:

So.

Speaker:

Just reach out to your loved ones and dedicate, to spending some time with them

Speaker:

on Thanksgiving, even if it's virtual.

Speaker:

Reach out to a best friend and plan, you know, a time to talk to them and

Speaker:

chat with them, even if you're going to be busy with your family, because

Speaker:

maybe they don't have a family.

Speaker:

Maybe they lost their family.

Speaker:

Maybe they're all alone.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

So think about all those things.

Speaker:

And then the other thing I want to talk about, which I touched on a little bit

Speaker:

is that you want to live in the present.

Speaker:

Not the past or the future, you really want to live in the present

Speaker:

because the present is what's going to really be the one thing that

Speaker:

you can control is right there.

Speaker:

In that moment, you can not change the past and you can't predict the future,

Speaker:

but when you can do, as you can live intentionally in the present to make sure

Speaker:

that what you're doing in the present will make a big impact for your future.

Speaker:

So that's what you want to think about.

Speaker:

How can you have an impact, for the future?

Speaker:

How can you impact other people?

Speaker:

How can you change lives and focus on that.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Number four, it's about changing your mindset.

Speaker:

Mindset is one of the most important things, but if you don't

Speaker:

have control over your own mind, That can really be catastrophic.

Speaker:

So if you find that your mindset is not where it needs to be, our negative

Speaker:

thoughts are creeping up on you.

Speaker:

And especially during the holidays, like holidays are really

Speaker:

a tough time for some people.

Speaker:

And especially during a pandemic, I think it just exemplifies that

Speaker:

situation, but try to change your mindset and have that attitude of

Speaker:

gratitude and try to be positive.

Speaker:

Try to think about, everything that did go right.

Speaker:

You know, in the past 12 months, instead of everything that went wrong, right?

Speaker:

Because there will always be challenges in life.

Speaker:

There will always be things that go wrong, but you can't focus on that.

Speaker:

You have to change your mindset to have that mentality where.

Speaker:

The glass is half full, not half empty.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And when you think that way, it changes the way that you look at the world, it

Speaker:

changes the way that you see things, and it really can have a positive impact on

Speaker:

everything that you do every single day.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

So the fifth thing I wanted to talk about.

Speaker:

Having that attitude of gratitude.

Speaker:

There's a ton of advantages to having that.

Speaker:

And I'm going to talk to you guys about a couple of the things that I think

Speaker:

are really important when it comes to that, is that you're going to find

Speaker:

that if you show more of an attitude of gratitude and you embrace that in your

Speaker:

everyday life and everything that you do, you're also going to be more confident.

Speaker:

You're going to have more self-esteem.

Speaker:

on top of that, you're going to feel blessed.

Speaker:

You're going to feel like even you talking to other people that you have

Speaker:

the ability to bless other people, you're going to feel more abundant.

Speaker:

You're going to feel happier and it's not a happiness.

Speaker:

That's a fake happiness from buying an expensive item that you wanted.

Speaker:

And then that happiness lasts for a day.

Speaker:

And then it's gone.

Speaker:

I know you've all experienced that high of like buying a new car, buying

Speaker:

a condo, you know, buying a new watch that you wanted, but how long

Speaker:

does that happiness really loud?

Speaker:

So when you think about happiness and it has to come from within, it

Speaker:

has to come from deep, deep, down, inside from internally, you need to

Speaker:

practice that you have to work at it.

Speaker:

It's not always just going to be there, but you have to be cognizant

Speaker:

and you have to make efforts every single day to become a happier person

Speaker:

to do the things that make you happy.

Speaker:

And also remember to make time to do the things that bring you joy.

Speaker:

You guys, sometimes it's as simple as taking a walk outside in the park and

Speaker:

watching like the swans, in the pond and, and just taking in that beauty,

Speaker:

it's about going to the botanical garden and looking at the flowers and looking

Speaker:

at the scenery and breathing in the fresh air and being thankful for that.

Speaker:

Some other advantages.

Speaker:

Of attitude or gratitude are that you're going to end up being more

Speaker:

active and actively doing things instead of reactive and reacting

Speaker:

to everything in your environment.

Speaker:

And that's really powerful because you don't want to always be reactive.

Speaker:

Being reactive can be a bad thing.

Speaker:

You want to be able to take in information and then evaluate

Speaker:

it and then you want to read it.

Speaker:

That's what it means to be active.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

You guys, so the other things that I wanted to talk to you about today

Speaker:

is for happy Thanksgiving, if you're going to be wishing other people happy

Speaker:

Thanksgiving, I want to share some ways that you could wish your friends

Speaker:

and family, a happy Thanksgiving in a very beautiful and impactful way.

Speaker:

One message you can say is you can say happy Thanksgiving, even

Speaker:

though I know where part today, but

Speaker:

you're always in my heart and I love you.

Speaker:

And I miss you.

Speaker:

And I can't wait to see you in person.

Speaker:

That's one way that you could a message.

Speaker:

You can share.

Speaker:

Another message you can share is you can say happy Thanksgiving.

Speaker:

Let's not get so busy that we forget to spend time together,

Speaker:

even if it's on FaceTime or zoom.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Another way is you can make a video for a friend or loved one

Speaker:

and you can, you can tell them.

Speaker:

These are the three things that I love about you.

Speaker:

And I'm so thankful that you are a part of my life and I'm so grateful for you.

Speaker:

I think that would be so impactful.

Speaker:

I think someone would really love that and it gives it that personal touch.

Speaker:

And that's what it's all about.

Speaker:

I hope you guys are going to reach out to your loved ones.

Speaker:

You're going to reach out to your friends.

Speaker:

You're going to show that.

Speaker:

Positive attitude of gratitude.

Speaker:

I want to know, I want to know how you're going to show your gratitude.

Speaker:

So send me a message connect with me on Instagram.

Speaker:

And I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving,

Speaker:

a very blessed Thanksgiving.

Speaker:

I hope that everyone has an amazing holiday and has safe travels.

Speaker:

If you're traveling.

Speaker:

And I just wanted you to take the time to think about, having that

Speaker:

attitude of gratitude, because Thanksgiving is also a perfect day

Speaker:

to sit down and reflect on, what your attitude is towards being thankful.

Speaker:

And, you know, are you thankful on a daily basis or are you only being thankful on

Speaker:

Thanksgiving because you got reminded.

Speaker:

That this is a holiday where we give thanks and we show thanks.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

And I think if you're thankful every day, like if you can find three things

Speaker:

to be thankful for every single day and you consciously make an effort

Speaker:

to notice them, I guarantee that that's going to be a game changer.

Speaker:

In your life for how you feel, and it's going to help you feel happier,

Speaker:

more fulfilled, and it's going to give you that positive attitude

Speaker:

that you need to get through the difficult times when they do come.

Speaker:

So you guys, I just wanted to give you a personal, thank you as well.

Speaker:

For being my listeners and for being my loyal fans and followers I love

Speaker:

Speaker:

Speaker:
