Shownotes

The central theme of this podcast episode is the imperative for believers to engage with the principles of heaven's economy while residing on earth. We elucidate that heaven's economy is fundamentally distinct from earthly systems, as it operates not on scarcity and competition, but rather on faith, generosity, and alignment with God's will. Throughout our discussion, we emphasize that living according to heaven's values—such as trust over fear and obedience over control—enables us to cultivate a life rich in purpose and devoid of anxiety regarding material provision. Moreover, we explore practical applications that facilitate this divine economic engagement, encouraging listeners to prioritize God in their financial decisions and embrace a mindset of consistent generosity. Ultimately, we aspire to inspire a transformative approach to wealth that reflects the abundant, purposeful nature of God's kingdom, thereby manifesting heaven on earth.

Transcripts

Speaker A:

Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Speaker A:

Over the past messages in this series, Heaven's Wealth Culture we have not been studying money, we have been studying heaven.

Speaker A:

In the first message, Streets of Gold, Gates of Pearl, we saw that heaven's wealth reveals God's standard, not human excess.

Speaker A:

In the second message, Prosperity as Atmosphere in Heaven, we learned that prosperity in heaven is not an event or blessing.

Speaker A:

It is the environment of God's presence.

Speaker A:

And in message three, Riches without Corruption, we confronted the truth that heaven's wealth is pure, untouched by greed, pride or exploitation.

Speaker A:

Now we arrive at the final and most practical question.

Speaker A:

If heaven has an economy, how are believers meant to live in it?

Speaker A:

Now this message, titled Living Heaven's Economy on Earth answers that question.

Speaker A:

Every kingdom operates on a system.

Speaker A:

Earth has economies driven by scarcity, competition, ownership, accumulation, fear of loss.

Speaker A:

Heaven also has an economy, but it runs on entirely different principles.

Speaker A:

Heaven's economy is not powered by interest rates.

Speaker A:

It is not powered by markets, hoarding, manipulation or domination.

Speaker A:

Heaven's economy is powered by faith.

Speaker A:

It is powered by trust, obedience, generosity, purpose and alignment with God's will.

Speaker A:

Jesus did not teach us to escape earth, he taught us to import.

Speaker A:

Heaven on earth as it is in heaven is not poetry, it is a mandate.

Speaker A:

The thesis of this message is believers are called to live in heaven's economy now not by copying heaven's wealth, but by adopting heaven's values.

Speaker A:

Faith over fear, generosity over hoarding, obedience over control, and kingdom priorities over self interest.

Speaker A:

Hammer's economy is built on trust in the King.

Speaker A:

Matthew 6:31 33 tells us so do not worry for the pagans run after all these things and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

Speaker A:

Earth's economy runs on anxiety.

Speaker A:

Hammer's economy runs on trust.

Speaker A:

In Heaven, no one worries about provision, no one stockpiles out of fear, and no one panics about tomorrow.

Speaker A:

Now why is this?

Speaker A:

Because the King is trustworthy.

Speaker A:

Living in heaven's economy means you do not make fear based decisions.

Speaker A:

You do not live obsessed with security.

Speaker A:

You do not allow money to become your God.

Speaker A:

Faith is not ignoring responsibility.

Speaker A:

Faith is refusing to replace God with control.

Speaker A:

Heaven's economy flows through obedience, not manipulation.

Speaker A:

Deuteronomy 8:18 tells us, Remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.

Speaker A:

In Heaven, nothing is stolen, nothing is manipulated, nothing is gained through deceit.

Speaker A:

Everything flows from alignment.

Speaker A:

On Earth, people ask, how can I get ahead in Heaven?

Speaker A:

The question is, how can I stay aligned?

Speaker A:

God's prosperity does not come from shortcuts.

Speaker A:

It comes from obedience over time.

Speaker A:

You cannot manipulate heaven's economy, you can only participate in it.

Speaker A:

Heaven's economy is purpose driven, not self driven.

Speaker A:

Heaven does not accumulate wealth for luxury.

Speaker A:

Heaven operates wealth for a mission.

Speaker A:

Revelation:

Speaker A:

Heaven's wealth serves worship.

Speaker A:

It serves community, beauty, order and God's glory.

Speaker A:

Likewise, when believers live in heaven's economy, money becomes a servant, not a master.

Speaker A:

Resources exist for calling, not ego.

Speaker A:

Abundance flows through purpose.

Speaker A:

If wealth has no purpose, it becomes poison.

Speaker A:

Generosity is the currency of heaven's economy.

Speaker A:

In heaven, nothing is hoarded, nothing is feared losing, and nothing is withheld out of insecurity.

Speaker A:

Generosity is not an act in heaven, it is a default posture.

Speaker A:

Luke 6:38 tells us, Give and it will be given to you, for with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Speaker A:

This is not a transaction, it is a description of how the system works.

Speaker A:

Generosity keeps heaven's economy flowing.

Speaker A:

Hoarding blocks it.

Speaker A:

You do not give to get, you give because heaven's economy flows through open hands.

Speaker A:

Now Heaven's economy requires a renewed mind.

Speaker A:

Romans 12:2 tells us, do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Speaker A:

You cannot live in heaven's economy while thinking entirely like earth.

Speaker A:

Now the earth says, protect yourself, secure your future.

Speaker A:

Trust money, fear loss.

Speaker A:

Heaven says, trust God, seek the kingdom, give freely and live without fear.

Speaker A:

The battleground of prosperity is not your bank account, it is your thinking now.

Speaker A:

Living heaven's economy does not mean ignoring earthly responsibility.

Speaker A:

Living by heaven's economy does not mean laziness.

Speaker A:

It does not mean irresponsibility.

Speaker A:

Living by heaven's economy does not mean financial recklessness or spiritual escapism.

Speaker A:

Heaven's economy produces discipline, stewardship, wisdom, integrity and excellence.

Speaker A:

Faith does not cancel planning, it purifies it.

Speaker A:

The church is meant to model heaven's economy.

Speaker A:

Acts 4:32 34 says, There were no needy persons among them.

Speaker A:

This was not socialism.

Speaker A:

This was heaven's economy at work.

Speaker A:

When believers live heaven's way, needs are met.

Speaker A:

Generosity rises, fear disappears, dignity is restored.

Speaker A:

The church becomes a visible sign that another economy exists.

Speaker A:

Here are some practical application on how to live heaven's economy daily 1.

Speaker A:

Put God first in financial decisions.

Speaker A:

2.

Speaker A:

Reject fear based choices.

Speaker A:

3.

Speaker A:

Practice consistent generosity.

Speaker A:

4.

Speaker A:

Work with excellence and integrity.

Speaker A:

5.

Speaker A:

See money as a tool, not a refuge.

Speaker A:

6.

Speaker A:

Live for purpose, not accumulation.

Speaker A:

7.

Speaker A:

Trust God beyond what you can control.

Speaker A:

Here are some questions that we can go forth to ponder about one.

Speaker A:

Where have I been operating by fear instead of faith?

Speaker A:

2.

Speaker A:

Do my financial decisions reflect trust in God or trust in security?

Speaker A:

3.

Speaker A:

How generous is my life, not just my giving?

Speaker A:

4.

Speaker A:

Is my prosperity connected to God's purpose or my ego?

Speaker A:

5.

Speaker A:

What would change if I truly lived on earth as it is in heaven?

Speaker A:

Let us pray.

Speaker A:

Heavenly Father, teach us to live by Heaven's economy while we walk on earth.

Speaker A:

Free us from fear, control and scarcity thinking.

Speaker A:

Align our hearts with your kingdom priorities.

Speaker A:

Make us faithful stewards, joyful givers and trustworthy carriers of your resources.

Speaker A:

Let our lives reflect Heaven's values of faith, generosity, obedience and purpose.

Speaker A:

May your kingdom come through us and your will be done in us on earth as it is in heaven.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name, amen.
