Welcome back to the Connected Pleasure Podcast with me, Kayla Moore—Certified Sex Therapist, Coach, healer, dreamer, and sacred disruptor of the patriarchy. This is our space to return to the body, to power, to pleasure, and to one another.
In this episode, I open my journal and share a vision I cast earlier this year during a new moon ceremony. It’s a vision for a world rooted in safety, laughter, community, and love. A world where women, children, and families are centered and everyone’s needs are met.
From that vision, I share how I’m weaving pleasure back into the world through my sacred containers and community spaces. You’ll hear about:
✨ 1:1 Coaching for Low Sexual Desire – An 8-session high-touch container designed to help women reclaim pleasure, remember their power, and come home to their bodies. Core and VIP options available.
✨ Not Broken Course (Waitlist Open!) – A group program offering the same transformational content as 1:1 coaching, with the added support of community and sisterhood. Founding members will help co-create the inaugural round.
✨ Shed Retreat – November 14–16, 2025 on Vashon Island, WA. A powerful weekend with Shauna Stewart, where we shed old scripts and step into new ways of relating to sex and intimacy.
✨ Sacred Feminine Singing Circle – A community space for women and feminine-identified beings to explore their voices, sing in harmony, and connect through music and sound healing.
This episode is both a reflection and an invitation. If you’ve been longing for deeper connection to your body, your pleasure, and your voice—this is for you.
If this episode touched you, please:
May you walk with softness, love, and pleasure.
Welcome to the Connected Pleasure Podcast with me, Kayla Moore, certified sex therapist and coach, healer weaver, dreamer, sacred disruptor of the patriarchy and guide for the Women Warriors Rising. This is a space to return to your pleasure, your power and your body, while remembering your deep connection to the earth and to each other.
Each week we explore what it means to lead with soft power power and to weave a world rooted in embodiment, love and connection.
Together, we are holding the frequency of what we want this world to look and feel like as we collectively weave together a new paradigm shift called the Great Turning. Because pleasure is not frivolous, it is foundational and it's time to come home. This podcast is for education and inspiration only.
If you're wanting to explore pleasure more fully for yourself, I invite you to go deeper with me through the offerings linked in the show notes or through the offerings of my guests.
If you're unsure whether one of these containers or a therapeutic approach would best support you, you're welcome to schedule a free 45 minute consultation with me. Together we can explore what path is in your best interest. And if I am not the right fit, I'll be glad to connect you with the resources you need.
Welcome, my loves, back to the Connect to Pleasure Podcast.
I'm Kayla, your host, and today I wanted to start off this episode by going back in time and reading you something from my journal that I think will give you a little bit of insight to why again, I ended up at the this point creating this podcast with this vision to change the world. So this is the very first page in my journal.
,:Obviously it was, you know, almost a month after the new year and so I just felt like this is a really potent thing to come back to as we are entering into the latter half of the year or latter part of the year. So it says vision for the world.
My vision for the world is that the planet exhales, people are laughing, there's community support, we focus on prevention. There is full emotional expression and all basic needs are met. Society is built around women and children and families.
There is space, there is love, and there is safety. There is true safety for everyone, and there is no more hate or scarcity.
So I just thought that was important to bring into this conversation that I have been vision casting this for some time. And I know there are a lot of people out here that are feeling the same things and have been tuning into that frequency for a while as well.
Now, I wanted to take just a few minutes to tell you how I personally am weaving pleasure back into the world with the containers that I have created. I've created this podcast and that is one of them that is going to weave our collective consciousness together.
That's going to introduce you to so many brilliant, amazing people that are weaving pleasure back into the world and all of their own magic and the different things that I am doing to help women specifically reclaim their relationship to sex, intimacy and pleasure. So I have created two containers specifically that are for women that are dealing with low sexual desire.
And they are to help women reclaim their pleasure, remember their power, and come home to their bodies. The first one is a high touch, one on one coaching container. It's eight weeks over the course of three months.
And there is the core coaching option and a VIP option.
And it'll take you through all the core aspects of what I think is really important for women to understand about themselves, their own sexual journey, and how we can reclaim, or how you can reclaim your relationship to your own sex and intimacy. And I will give you a little bit of backstory about why I created these. So as a therapist, I've worked with a lot of couples.
And though I can create transformational change individually in couples work, couples work as a therapist is mostly looking at the relationship between two people. So we're working on communication, we're working on how we relate to one another.
And it does very much look at how an individual is and what they are doing, but it's more about how that's impacting the relationship.
And there's less time of diving deep into that person's own belief system, own history, own, like, understanding of something, and their own transformational journey, it's more about the relationship's transformational journey.
And so especially when it comes to sex and this specific topic, low sexual desire, because of our history in society and how we have treated women around sex and relationships and how women have basically been told that their pleasure is not, you know, it's not existent, that sex is for your partner, not for you.
And so women have been completely divorced of their bodies and of their sacred creative energy and their ability to experience full embodiment of pleasure. And men also have their own set of things that they also have to work through in our society. Absolutely.
But I really wanted to create a sacred container for women to specifically go through their own journey, their own journey to reclamation and their own transformation of really understanding where have I been in my thoughts, my belief systems, my embodiment of pleasure? How do I feel about my body? How do I feel about pleasure? What are the experiences that I've had in my past?
And then go through a journey of reclaiming those, of understanding the barriers that they have to pleasure and really deciding for themselves of how they want pleasure to look like and to feel like in their own bodies and in their own lives and in their own relationships. And so this container again is a high, a high touch container because it's one on one.
So it's just like in a therapeutic sense when you're working with a therapist, one on one. It would be the same in this coaching container. But again, it's very intentional.
It's really rooted in this is the transformation that we are creating and this is the container that we've created for it. So the quote, the core coaching package is for just that transformation.
You get one on one coaching sessions with me for those eight sessions and we space them out over three months. However that works in your schedule.
The VIP option is all of that plus you get a, it would probably be on telegram, a telegram, text and voice thread with me that you get to use outside of those sessions. So it would kind of be like having an AI bot with you, but it'll be me.
Unlike the AI bot, I do actually have real life stuff that I do have to attend to. So I might not be, you know, immediately responsive like AI is, but you have me to bounce things off of, to talk to in between those sessions.
I will be giving homework in between those sessions. So it's a great way for you to connect with me, to ask me any questions or to let me know if you're having any concerns.
And I can kind of walk you through it a little bit in between those sessions. So it's like you get to have me in your pocket along the journey, even outside of those sessions. So I think that's very valuable.
I did that with my own business coach and it was a game changer.
There were lots of things that would come up in between our sessions that I would just shoot a quick voice note to her and she would get back to me and it would be really soothing to my nervous system to, to have her, you know, right at my fingertips. So. So I love that option. And then there are some add ons to it you can do, you know, after those eight sessions are done.
I do have some ongoing support that people can Add in as well. And then I do have a partner container. It's a small one.
I do eventually, once I get some of these more like core offers that I'm developing off the ground, I do want to create some more partner work because I know that that's kind of the next step. Step after people have done their own individual work most of the time, then we want to pair it with a partner. So I know that's the next step.
But I did create like a one month kind of Kickstarter offer if you want to start to do some partner work to add your partner in after we go through that eight week container together and start to help you create some transformation in your relationship as well around sex and intimacy. So that is an offer. I do want to be able to do more couple offers in the future, but I'm just kind of sticking with what I have for right now.
But that is available if you're like, well, I really want to do this with a partner.
I personally really recommend going through it on your own first because there's so much that we as individuals need to work through and especially women, especially women. We need to work through our own hangups around sex first before then pairing that with a partner.
And that doesn't mean that, you know, you can't like be intimate with your partner the entire time you're going through your own journey.
It's just giving yourself that time to really sit with yourself and your understanding of sex and intimacy before then pairing it with your partner and pairing, you know, your partner's expectations and their whole story and what they want out of sex and intimacy. To what. To what you want out of it. Right. So that is kind of my recommendation on that. So that's the one on one coaching.
The second thing that I have available is a course called Not Broken. And it's actually the all the same content in the one on one coaching, but in a space that is going to be communal.
So because that's the first course that I've done, I am creating a wait list for 10 women to sign up. And then I will actually like start putting some dates on a calendar and making it official with people.
But I just wanted to get enough people even on a wait list before I like made some concrete dates and details to the course. But it's gonna be the same type of transformation as the one on one experience, but with a cohort of other women.
This is something I'm really excited about in my therapeutic work. I never was able to get to a place where I did group stuff I could have and I just didn't.
So I'm really excited to bring that into the coaching space that I'm doing to get a group of women that are going through this journey together. So not only do you get me, but you also get the sisterhood and the community support around you and the collective journey.
I do think that there is so much transformation that happens just from other people doing the work simultaneously with you. And so instead of one on one calls, we would have group calls. So we would be going through the content together as a group.
I would be recording those group calls so that you could have them and go back to them. Especially if you weren't able to attend that you would be able to get the replay.
And then you would also be getting a group text and voicethread too.
So that not only could I jump in and answer any questions, but comments, you know, answer anything that the collective had, but also you get that from each other that you would be able to, you know, share your wins, share your concerns, create community and bonds with each other and cheer each other on as you're going through that experience. I don't necessarily like to say it's like accountability.
I want people in my containers that are already driven and are wanting to create a transformation.
So, you know, I know a lot of people feel like they need somebody to keep them accountable, but this is more about community and about collectively sharing experiences with each other and healing together. So if that creates some accountability for you, great.
If it, if you don't, if you're like, I don't need an accountability partner, that's not really what it is. And in my eyes, it's more about, you know, just the power of what it looks like to bring women into a space and talk about sex and intimacy together.
I think that is huge. There are not a lot of spaces that do that and it allows for a lot of normalization around your experience.
And again, just feeling like I'm not alone, I'm not alone in going through these things. And hopefully you get to make some friends and that you have those friends even after the eight session container is over.
So I also forgot to mention that in both the one on one and the not broken course, so it's eight sessions, six of those sessions are going to be more of the like teaching sessions where I'm teaching specific things about a specific topic and then we can, you know, talk a little bit about how in the one on one container that lands for you personally in the not broken course how that kind of lands with the collective, everyone in the group. And you know, some people could speak about how that's falling for them personally too.
And then two sessions are going to be just like integration sessions. So I think in both containers, one will be in kind of the middle of the container.
So like for the course we would probably do like three teaching sessions, then one integration session where it's more just like a group coaching call and we'll talk about how everybody's collectively feeling about the material, how it's landing for you, how you are practicing it in your everyday life and any questions or things that are coming up for you. And then we would do three more teaching sessions and then an integration session at the end.
So it would kind of be more like a wrap up session, how the course was for you or how the one on one coaching container was for you, what you've learned, how far you've come from the beginning to that end point, where you want to go from there.
Because you know, I think there's always still more that you're going to want to do and integrate and kind of what the next steps are for you and how I can support you in developing a plan for where you want to go next. And then you know, giving me feedback that you want me to have to continue to grow those containers in the best way that I can.
So the Not Broken course is again going to be my inaugural course with that.
And so I'm again, I'm doing a wait list, I'm having women sign up and then once I have 10 people then I will kind of send out the information and confirm that people still want to move through with it.
It is going to be the lowest energy exchange that it will be ever because it's the first time I really want the barrier to entry to be super low so that people can come in and give me a lot of feedback. So it's going to be, you know, as affordable as I can make it. And I really just wanting to solicit feedback from the participants.
You will be like the founding members that are going to help me kind of co create it together. I definitely have the blueprint and the outline of what's going to be in it.
But I definitely want all the feedback about, you know, maybe how the content landed for you or if we did it in a certain order, if you would have liked it in a different order. Just anything that resonates or doesn't resonate with you, I would love to know.
So if you are somebody that's like yes, I want to get in at the ground level. I would love to co create this with Kayla.
This sounds exactly like something I want and need and it would be great to do it with a group of people instead of just one on one. Then I would love for you to join the wait list for that. So those are my two big offers. There are a few other things that I am doing.
One is I am doing a women's retreat called Shed in November with my amazing colleague Shauna Stewart. She is also a sex educator, sex coach. She is the now mostly former owner of the boutique Linger in Olympia, Washington.
That was like a lingerie and sexual wellness boutique. She is currently closing it down. So that is sad. But she's going to move more into the coaching space as well.
And she I think is going to still do some online retail, just not have a storefront anymore. So. But she is amazing and we are partnering together to do this amazing retreat.
It's November 14th through the 16th on Vashon island in Washington State. And it's just, it's going to be such a beautiful experience.
We are going to do some like really embodied work to work on how we shed the scripts and the barriers that we have to reclaiming our relationship to sex and intimacy. And this year is Year of the Wood Snake in Chinese zodiac.
And I think we can all collectively feel it that this is definitely the year of we are shedding again.
We're in the fall of the patriarchy where we are also in a lot of the fall of our own selves, our own, you know, protective skin, if you will, that has been keeping us protected, but it no longer serves us. And we are shedding those things to also birth new things in our own lives. And so it's going to be amazing. I'm really excited for it.
And again, it's going to be the 14th through the 16th at a beautiful lodge in our on Vashon Island, Washington. So if you are interested in that, I will have the link below to our website about it and how to get signed up for that.
One of the last things I will let you know is that I have been doing a secret feminine singing circle with another friend of mine. She and I went to high school together and we're in vocal ensemble together. Name's Emma Kosters. She got her degree in music.
And I said at the beginning of this, I am a musician. I have been taking voice lessons for the last couple years after not really formally singing for like 10 years.
I sang oh since I basically could talk all the way into college and actually went to college for vocal performance and then ended up failing one of my classes. It was pretty tragic. I had never failed anything in my life before that, education wise.
And it really was a moment of like, hmm, do I really wanna do this anymore? And so I ended up quitting my major or quitting the program. Cuz you had to start that major from the very beginning of school.
Quitting the program just kind of like was trying to figure out what I wanted to do next. And I took psych 101 and fell in love with psychology and never looked back.
Got a psych degree, then went into marriage and family therapy and became a therapist. So it was a big turning point in my life. But I've still always loved singing.
But ever since I changed my major I did choir for like another year until I got into my upper level classes and didn't have time for choir in schedule anymore and really hadn't sang except for in the shower and in my car since. So I had done voice lessons all through high school.
I think I started in seventh grade and did seventh, eighth grade, then did voice lessons all through high school. And then that was definitely part of my program, was doing voice lessons my first year in college. So I really wanted to get back into singing.
And so I started voice lessons again.
And that really inspired me as I was moving through all these different training transitions that I was doing to pair music with my therapeutic work and my sacred feminine work and create a sacred feminine singing circle for anyone that identifies as feminine. And it is all about bringing women together in community, about loving on each other, about empowering each other.
It is really about doing something that is typically scary for a lot of people, singing in front of people.
But we are really trying to make it a space that is safe to create, to explore, to explore your voice and explore what it's like to sing in unison and in harmony with other women in the circle. We use singing bowls, slash sound bowls to tune with.
And Emma's also brought, I think one other like percussion instrument into it, which has been really fun and it's just been a joy. We've done three of them so far. The last one we did at the Wild Feminine Fair in Gig Harbor, Washington where I live.
And we had the biggest turnout that we've had so far. I think we're going to try to do another one in October in Bainbridge, Washington where Emma lives.
And then we will also be doing it on the Shed retreat as one of our workshops. So that's been something really lovely that I've been really enjoying.
And if you are in the area and are interested in knowing more about that, keep following what I'm doing cause I'll definitely be sharing more about that when we have our next date available. Thank you for joining me for this episode of the Connected Pleasure Podcast.
