Shownotes
Welcome back to the Mindful You podcast! In this episode, host Alan Carroll sits down with writer and speaker David Alan Brown for an open and honest conversation about what it really means to live authentically and heal from life’s ups and downs. The discussion explores David’s journey from a privileged upbringing, through periods of struggle and depression, to rediscovering purpose and presence.
Along the way, Alan and David get real about dealing with expectations, quieting the inner critic, and finding the balance between our ego and higher selves. A key theme that emerged is the power of forgiveness—for both ourselves and others—and how choosing love, presence, and meaningful conversation can transform our everyday lives. Tune in for practical wisdom, uplifting stories, and plenty of inspiration for your own path toward authenticity and healing.
