In today’s episode Nkechi has a discussion with Dr. Gillian Mandich. Dr. Gillian has a PhD from Western University in Health Science, and her primary areas of research are happiness and health. She is the founder of The International Happiness Institute of Health Science Research; co-lead investigator of The Canadian Happiness At Work Study; is a part of the Meant2Prevent research team at SickKids; appears regularly in the media on shows such as The Social, Marilyn Denis, Breakfast Television, The Morning Show, and CBC; and is a top-rated keynote and TEDx speaker.One of the most significant goals of most humans is to live a happy life. At our very core, there are several factors that contribute to living an empowered and happy life. And like most things in life, there are some aspects that we have no control over and others that we can control. Fortunate for us, we find out from Dr. Mandich, that being happy is something we can take control of. She shares that finding our happiness is an inside job, which is a catalyst for good health and improved performance. She also gives us tips on how to live a happy life daily.
