Empowering Women in Agribusiness with Svitlana Synkovska

I wanted to put out a BONUS episode this week to make sure you all know about a particularly special event coming up in September: Women in Agribusiness. It’s an annual summit that brings together women to network, share knowledge and empower each other to be leaders and changemakers in the industry. I’ll be heading to the 2025 summit in September and would love to see you there!

Joining me to talk more about this year’s conference is Women in Agribusiness Portfolio Director Svitlana Synkovska—who many know simply as Lana and is a powerhouse in the agribusiness world. Born and raised in Ukraine, Lana’s now leading the charge to elevate women’s voices and create meaningful opportunities across the industry, and over the past 20 years, she’s produced more than 50 major agribusiness events across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.

In our conversation, she opens up about her journey into the ag sector, how she’s navigated cultural shifts and challenges, and why she believes so deeply in the power of women supporting women.
