Hey, I hope you had a chance to

listen to last week's season three

because this is the wishing meditation

I promised to create just for you.

Over the past week, I've been

thinking about the healing

power of wishing for others.

:

Doesn't it make your heart happy to

wish someone a happy day or to wish

:

them good luck or to wish them the best?

:

Did you know it's proven that a

meditation when focused on thoughts

:

of loving kindness and feelings of

goodwill will actually decrease our

17

:

negative emotions Research has shown that

wishing for others goodness in a loving

18

:

kindness meditation actually decreases

symptoms of pain, social prejudice,

:

anger, anxiety, and even depression.

:

And PTSD, I don't know about

you, but I think our world.

Needs a little more meditation.

Uh, this information comes from Dr.

this power of changing our thoughts

and changing the pain in our bodies.

But I created this meditation

with what I think are the common

desires and wishes of our hearts.

maybe after you've gone

through this meditation.

A few times, you might wanna

create it just for your own wishes.

Make it personalized just for you.

Remember to keep it simple so

it's easy to recall while not only

in meditation, but you're able

to draw upon it during your day.

So let's get started like

we do in most meditations.

Just get nice and comfortable

and it begins with breath.

We wanna breathe into our

nose and down into our belly.

:

Breathing and stillness lets us

access what's going on in our body.

:

Our body usually knows before our brain.

Uh, can put a word to it.

So if you would just find a place

of quiet somewhere where you can sit

tall and be supported in your, body

And just find that breath in through

the nose, down deep into the belly.

I am gonna give you a moment

to just settle into this space.

Breathing in through the nose, down

into the belly, hushing the mind,

and just sensing your body.

What is happening today?

Are you feeling this, And can

you just settle in to this

space for a moment with me?

And let's begin breathing in a warm,

healing light around your heart, opening

up for this meditation ready to receive

and let it just absorb into you

to your heart and mind breathing in,

wishing meditation, like a prayer.

Maybe they have some heavy

things weighing on their heart

and mind, someone that you love.

Picture them and let's send out

this wish meditation to them.

the trail today, a friend in need.

Ah, the judgment, the anger, the

contention, and just wishing for better

things, not only in our lives, but

for those others that are carrying

heavy things on their hearts as well.

childlike faith and know

that Jesus knows your heart.
