David Spoon takes listeners on a thought-provoking journey through the complexities of the Christian faith, delving into themes of God's unwavering love and the struggles many face in their spiritual lives. He opens the show with a lighthearted tone, inviting listeners to join him on this metaphorical bus ride, where he promises wild and wonderful discussions.
The core message revolves around the idea that God's love is everlasting and that many believers often feel disconnected from that love, particularly as they grapple with their past and present shortcomings. Spoon emphasizes that despite feelings of inadequacy or frustration in one's faith journey, God's love remains constant and unchanging. This reassurance is crucial, especially for those who may feel they have let God down after accepting Christ.
Throughout the episode, Spoon references a recent uplifting experience at Eagle Point Church, where he was encouraged to revisit the foundational teachings of God's love. He discusses how believers often struggle with the dichotomy of receiving unconditional forgiveness for past sins while feeling pressured to live up to certain expectations afterward.
He argues that this can lead to a sense of spiritual frustration, as individuals may feel they are not living up to God's grace. This insight serves as a reminder that the Christian journey is not about perfection but about the continual experience of God's love, which is made manifest through the Holy Spirit.
Takeaways:
Enough for something completely different.
David Spoon:Here's what's coming up this hour on today's experience.
David Spoon:It's wild and wonderful.
David Spoon:What's gonna happen?
David Spoon:We have no idea.
David Spoon:Hey, let's sit back and enjoy the ride.
David Spoon:Can I get a wowzer bowser Wednesday because God is in charge of this crazy bus culture.
David Spoon:The christian journey first four years ago I taught the material I'm going to present today on the radio show here in Texas.
David Spoon:But after I had this absolutely wonderful visit at Eagle Point Church in Denton, Texas and was listening to Pastor Robert Norris who preached a phenomenal message, I have this encouragement to bring it back to the forefront of our thoughts.
David Spoon:So I will give a shout out to Pastor Robert Norris and Eagle Point Church in Denton for sharing it and getting my brain and my heart and my spirit going in this direction.
David Spoon:Next, as we grow up in the Lord and as we grow in the Lord, we discover that there are areas in our lives that need more work than we thought.
David Spoon:While we freely receive the forgiveness of God for everything we did living in the BC days, which stands for before Christ, once we become christians, we tend to take a different point of view on how we are.
David Spoon:And some of us feel a little frustrated because we feel like we're letting God down.
David Spoon:And finally, for too many of us, it's because we don't have that same sense that the love of God is with us like it was in the beginning of the journey.
David Spoon:We've talked about this multiple times and the solution is so much simpler than we think.
David Spoon:The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by God himself, given through Jesus Christ and manifested in our being through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
David Spoon:So let's do this weird thing.
David Spoon:Let's get on board with God's plan for walking in and with his continual love.
Narrator:David Spoon's life has been an experience.
Narrator:While growing up in a jewish family, he made a wrong turn towards drug abuse.

Narrator:He joined KAAM and this radio program began.
Narrator:You're about to hear the David Spoon experience.
David Spoon:Welcome to the David Spoon experience.
David Spoon:Local, national and heavenly talk.
David Spoon:Here's what else we're looking at during the show.
David Spoon:Lessons for surviving living and prevailing politics, entertainment and current events, personal revelations, spiritual observations, my life's insanities and oy vey, so much more.
David Spoon:Now remember, it's not professional radio and so we're back on track on a Wednesday.
David Spoon:So we will ask the forerunner of professional radio, our very own Jammin Jacob.
David Spoon:Jammin Jacob as the forerunner of professional radio is the David Spoon experience.
David Spoon:Professional radio.
Jammin Jacob:No, it is not.
Jammin Jacob:David.
David Spoon:There you go.
David Spoon:You've heard it from the forerunner.
David Spoon:And we're not talking about a car.
David Spoon:It's Jim and Jacob, right?
David Spoon:Okay.
David Spoon:That's a new one.
David Spoon:You like that one?
Jammin Jacob:I do like that one.
Jammin Jacob:That one's good.
David Spoon:Here's the bottom line.
David Spoon:It's just radio.
David Spoon:And so we want to know what you think.
David Spoon:So if you have something you want to share, you can email us.
David Spoon: So this shows right now,: David Spoon: you know for sure is if it's: David Spoon:Okay?
David Spoon:I mean, that'll help.
David Spoon: If you're in San Diego, it's: David Spoon:Right?
David Spoon:You got that?
David Spoon:That's not hard.
David Spoon:If you're in Denver, it's 104.
David Spoon:If you're in Detroit, it's 304.
David Spoon: Right now in Dallas, it's: David Spoon:And here's the bottom line.
David Spoon:You can send an email David emustincrease.org dot.
David Spoon:That's davidmusincrease.org dot.
David Spoon: -: David Spoon:Yeah.
David Spoon: -: David Spoon:Talking to Jammin Jacob is like waking up and feeling like you got a great night's sleep.
Jammin Jacob:Thank you, David.
Jammin Jacob:Happy Wednesday.
Jammin Jacob:And I did get a great night's sleep.
David Spoon:Well, there you go.
David Spoon:See that?
David Spoon:Isn't that nice when you got a great night's sleep?
David Spoon:It's not, of course, because you were reflecting on the Dallas win.
David Spoon:I just wonder if it's because you're reflecting on the future games.
David Spoon:We'll see how that goes as we will discuss that probably tomorrow.
Jammin Jacob:Yes.
Jammin Jacob:Yes.
David Spoon:All right, folks, here it is in a nutshell.
David Spoon:Why would you reach out to us?
David Spoon:Why would you call us?
David Spoon:Why would you text us?
David Spoon:Why would you email us?
David Spoon:Because we love praise reports.
David Spoon:Because we love to pray for one another.
David Spoon:So, praise reports, prayer requests.
David Spoon:We also like it when people share just things going on in their lives.
David Spoon:If the Lord's put a really intense scripture and just really operating in your life and you want to share it, maybe it'll bless somebody else go for it.
David Spoon:We think stuff like that's phenomenal.
David Spoon:We love it when you, when you're able to do stuff like that.
David Spoon:Additionally, we also have a very strong commitment to Bible trivia because having Bible trivia going on in our lives gives us the movement of the word of God being in our hearts and in our minds.
David Spoon:And if God created the universe and you believe that, you better believe he can write a book.
David Spoon:And your God better be bigger than denominational or denominational than translational differences.
David Spoon:And in fact, your God should also be bigger than denominational differences.
David Spoon:That's besides the point.
David Spoon:Here's your trivia question, a little more interesting.
David Spoon:It's more of the history elements.
David Spoon:In what Book of the Bible do we find the words every man did that which was right in his own eyes?
David Spoon:I will tell you that this is after the Torah.
David Spoon:In what book of the Bible do we find and every man did what was right in his own eyes.
David Spoon:What book of the Old Testament is that in?
David Spoon:It is somewhere between.
David Spoon:Well, I'll just say it's before the major and minor prophets and it is after the Torah.
David Spoon:So it's after Deuteronomy and it's before Isaiah.
David Spoon:What book of the Bible do we find?
David Spoon:Every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
David Spoon: -: David Spoon:And everything that's right in your own eyes.
David Spoon:Super duper.
David Spoon:But all of that is just sin manifesting itself in selfishness.
David Spoon:Just in case people want to know.
David Spoon:So what book of the Bible do we find?
David Spoon:The words every man did that which was right in his own eyes between deuteronomy and isaiah.
David Spoon:That should give you some kind of like, ooh, I get that.
David Spoon:I get that.
David Spoon:And maybe more towards the leaning of the beginning.
David Spoon:We do have somebody that is ready to answer the trivia question, so we are going to go into that because I have a very long teaching that's coming up, so let's go ahead and do that.
David Spoon:Let's send them on through.
David Spoon:Knock knock.
David Spoon:This is David.
David Spoon:Who am I talking to?
Fred:Hi, David, this is Fred.
Fred:How you doing today?
David Spoon:I'm doing wonderful, Fred.
David Spoon:How are you today?
Fred:I'm doing fine, sir.
David Spoon:All right.
David Spoon:I'm glad, glad, glad to hear that, my brother.
David Spoon:This is a pretty good question.
David Spoon:A lot of people are, like, going, hmm, hmm.
David Spoon:So I'm hoping you'll track it down.
David Spoon:In what book of the Bible do we find the words?
David Spoon:Every man did that which was right in his own eyes, David, because of.
Fred:Political correctness and the hardness of men's heart, we're really in that type of society now.
Fred:But that scripture's found in judges.
David Spoon:That is correct.
David Spoon:Amanda.
David Spoon:Sir, you are right.
David Spoon:And it's actually found twice, which is really fascinating.
David Spoon:And you're right.
David Spoon:This is exactly what is going on in society today, which ought to tell people it ain't that different.
David Spoon:It just ain't that different.
David Spoon:It's like same thing everybody needs, like the saint.
David Spoon:It's like, this is not good.
David Spoon:People doing things which are right in your own eyes, not the right way.
David Spoon:Right.
Fred:When the Book of Isaiah five, it talks about how, you know, two people calling good evil and evil good.
Fred:And all those sorts of things are going on now, and it's a sign that Jesus is on his way back.
David Spoon:That's right.
David Spoon:You know, it's getting closer and closer because this kind of thing and the good for evil, evil for good is getting worse.
David Spoon:Everything is progressingly going in one direction.
David Spoon:It's like, yikes, that's not good.
David Spoon:Excellent job, my brother.
Fred:God bless you.
Fred:Hang up and listen.
David Spoon:All right, my brother.
David Spoon:Thank you.
Fred:All right.
David Spoon:All right.
David Spoon:What we're going to do is we're going to jump into the word.
David Spoon:We're going to do our DNA after.
David Spoon:So I'm just telling everybody, it's like.
David Spoon:You're not forgetting DNA, are you?
David Spoon:No, we'll get into DNA.
David Spoon:We'll just do it in the next segment.
David Spoon:In the meantime, I want to get to this.
David Spoon:And this is just phenomenal, phenomenal stuff.
David Spoon:Jeremiah, chapter 31, verse three, for those that are taking notes.
David Spoon:Jeremiah 31 three.
David Spoon:The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying, I have loved you with an everlasting love.
David Spoon:I have drawn you with an unfailing kindness.
David Spoon:Wow.
David Spoon:Let's talk about that.
David Spoon:The Lord has appeared to us in the past, saying, I have loved you with an everlasting love.
David Spoon:Many of us remember, not everybody, but many do.
David Spoon:The phenomenal moments that we came to a recognition that God loves us so much that he sent his only begotten son to die for us.
David Spoon:In fact, John 316, for God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes, current present tense, whoever believes in him, should not perish, but have eternal life.
David Spoon:There is so much love that God has for the world.
David Spoon:He's demonstrating that love by giving his son Jesus Christ to whoever believes should not perish but have eternal life.
David Spoon:When that message first came to many of us, it was good news.
David Spoon:Somebody.
David Spoon:Somebody loves me.
David Spoon:How powerful is that for you to understand?
David Spoon:Not that your parents didn't try to love you unless they were just genuinely lousy parents and those exist, but how?
David Spoon:And not just because you're friends.
David Spoon:They love you.
David Spoon:But, you know, that's kind of fickle.
David Spoon:It depends on, you know, what you have to give for them or what the I.
David Spoon:What the popular moment is of the day.
David Spoon:And all that stuff, all of that stuff.
David Spoon:When you found out that God loves you so much that he sacrificed for you even when you weren't connected in your own mind, it made a statement to you and I that says, I am loved.
David Spoon:And that power, that acknowledgement, that acceptance through Jesus christ transforms us when we say yes and amen, there is a new us, a born again us that takes place.
David Spoon:And yes, it's an amazing element, because all of a sudden, and if you remember this, you are, all of a sudden, you're aware.
David Spoon:Like, your awareness button just got turned on.
David Spoon:It's been turned off your entire life.
David Spoon:Somebody pushed the awareness button, and you're like, ding, ding, ding.
David Spoon:Wait a second.
David Spoon:And then you find out, wow, you mean the bible really has cool things to say.
David Spoon:And you start reading it, and you're like, oh, who knew this was in there, besides all the millions of people who read it before you?
David Spoon:Oh, it's so amazing.
David Spoon:It speaks.
David Spoon:And all of a sudden, you, who are not in anything spiritual, have been taken and placed by the power of the Holy Spirit into the spiritual realm.
David Spoon:And you're like, whoa.
David Spoon:But I want you to catch something that comes out of this Jeremiah text that is connected to it.
David Spoon:The Lord appeared to us in the past saying, I have loved you with an everlasting love.
David Spoon:Listen to me.
David Spoon:That love that God has for you, that God had for you, that God will have for you.
David Spoon:It's an everlasting love.
David Spoon:Hey, listen to this.
David Spoon:That moment that you were super glad that you were loved hasn't disappeared from God's side.
David Spoon:In fact, the rest of the verse says, I have drawn you with an unfailing kindness.
David Spoon:The Lord has pulled you towards him based on that everlasting love, and he's drawn you in by that unfailing kindness, and he has made his feelings known to you.
David Spoon:He loves you yes.
David Spoon:At the moment, we're like, yes, that is awesome.
David Spoon:But then this weird thing happens.
David Spoon:We keep going and we think, wow, this BC stuff, man.
David Spoon:All the stuff I did before Jesus.
David Spoon:Oh, thank you, Lord, for saving me, for delivering me from my sins, from.
David Spoon:From setting me free, and from forgiving me.
David Spoon:And what we think is that the record has been set clean.
David Spoon:The slate has been wiped.
David Spoon:We're done.
David Spoon:It's clear.
David Spoon:And then we start tagging onto the slate, the dumb things that we do, and we think we're erasing or ruining this wonderful love that God has shown us by failing.
David Spoon:But what we're failing in is to hear him in the first place and to keep hearing him in the now and to never stop hearing him in the tomorrow.
David Spoon:I have loved you, God says with an everlasting love.
David Spoon:The love of God for you has never once even a little bit diminished.
David Spoon:It is the same love.
David Spoon:Then, now.
David Spoon:And tomorrow when we come back, we're going to examine how the Lord has made that clear.
David Spoon:In the meantime, we'll take our break now.
David Spoon:You're listening to the David Spoon experience right here on Kam 770, the truth station here in Texas.
David Spoon:Short break.
David Spoon:We'll be back.
David Spoon:Don't go anywhere.
David Spoon:What the whole teaching has to do with is the dissatisfaction that people have who are worldly when the divine is involved.
David Spoon:I want you to hear that line.
David Spoon:That's the big line.
David Spoon:That's the big connector between all of this.
David Spoon:The worldly are never satisfied if divinity is involved.
David Spoon:So the example Jesus says is, we played the flute for you, right?
David Spoon:And the flute.
David Spoon:Woo the flute.
David Spoon:Yay.
David Spoon:Happy sounds, right?
David Spoon:And the people are like, no.
David Spoon:It's like, okay, well, we sang a dirge for you, right?
David Spoon:What you sing at a funeral, right?
David Spoon:And the people were like, no.
David Spoon:And then John the Baptist, he says, comes, and John the Baptist is as straight as you can get.
David Spoon:We would call him, you know, a massive teetotaler might be fair enough to say.
David Spoon:And he says he does.
David Spoon:He's not eating bread, he's not drinking any wine.
David Spoon:And you people, the way you respond, you go, he's got a demon.
David Spoon:And then Jesus, he says, I come, son of man comes.
David Spoon:I'm eating and drinking.
David Spoon:And then what do the people do?
David Spoon:They extreme it out.
David Spoon:And they say he's a glutton because he's eating.
David Spoon:Not eating more than he should, just eating.
David Spoon:And he's a drunkard because he had wine.
David Spoon:You see, this is the thing.
David Spoon:The thing is that the world and the worldly are never satisfied.
David Spoon:That's why I said that connection to the song.
David Spoon:And don't get mad at me that I used a Rolling Stone song.
David Spoon:It's not my fault they wrote a song called I can't get no satisfaction.
David Spoon:This is the Lord trying to reach people at different levels, and people keep going, no, no, no.
David Spoon:And it's nonstop and there's just no satisfying them.
David Spoon:And even the one thing that I would say, and I've said this before in the beginning of this, of this broadcast, and I don't really care about your political affiliations, but when people get going in a certain direction, you can't move them one way or another.
David Spoon:And when the media was all over Donald Trump, it's fair to say that had he helped cure cancer with research, they would have accused Donald Trump of putting people out of business who were in the cancer business.
David Spoon:It's just like, that's exactly what they would have done.
David Spoon:Everybody knows that.
David Spoon:And it's because that's how the mentality is.
David Spoon:If somebody comes along and does something that's good and it's not appreciative to the world or they don't like it, they will rip it to shreds.
David Spoon:You can't play the flute.
David Spoon:You can't sing a dirge.
David Spoon:You can't be Johnny the Baptist and you can't be Jesus Christ, because none of those things satisfy.
David Spoon:We want exactly what we want, which, by the way, they don't even know what they want.
David Spoon:That's the irony.
David Spoon:It's God that's giving the opportunity for people to get the answers.
David Spoon:And people are so inwardly confused because of Satan, they wouldn't know, know a good thing if it split them in the eyeballs.
David Spoon:That's the problem.
David Spoon:The David Spoon experience.
David Spoon:And if you can't shout sight, you'll have to face a penalty.
David Spoon:Welcome back to the David Spoon experience.
David Spoon:Thank you for joining us here at KAAM 770 the truth station here in Texas.
David Spoon:That's K Man 770 the truth station here in Texas.
David Spoon:Wait till you see how that very last line in that Phil is going to soar us into the next section.
David Spoon:Here's your trivia question.
David Spoon:By the way, who was called a friend of God?
David Spoon:James, chapter two, verse 23.
David Spoon:Who was called a friend of God?
David Spoon:Blank.
David Spoon:Was called God's friend.
David Spoon:Who is that your answer?
David Spoon:James, chapter two, verse 23.
David Spoon:If you think you know the answer.
David Spoon: -: David Spoon:You can send an email David at he must increase.com who was called God's friend.
David Spoon:Your answer is in James chapter two and verse 23.
David Spoon:In the meantime, we'll do our DNA.
David Spoon:D stands for draw closer to the Lord daily.
David Spoon:Every day that ends in y, spend some time with a guy in the sky.
David Spoon:Got it.
David Spoon:It's not even coming.
David Spoon:Okay, got that right.
David Spoon:D draw closer to the Lord daily.
David Spoon:That's part of our DNA.
David Spoon:And never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
David Spoon:Luke 926 if you're ashamed of me and my words, I'll be ashamed of you when I come in glory with the Father.
David Spoon:Never be ashamed of what Jesus had to say, regardless of how the world tries to make you feel.
David Spoon:That don't matter.
David Spoon:What matters is simply that you are not ashamed of your savior and what he has to say.
David Spoon:I'll keep it as simple as possible.
David Spoon:If God created the universe and you believe that, you have to go out on that huge ledge that he can also write a book.
David Spoon:There is nothing for you to be ashamed of, whether people like it or not.
David Spoon:Who cares?
David Spoon:They don't have a heaven to put you in.
David Spoon:What do you care?
David Spoon:D draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
David Spoon:A always be ready.
Jammin Jacob:To serve.
David Spoon:Serve.
David Spoon:Always be ready to serve.
David Spoon:Are you gonna do everything perfect?
David Spoon:No, but are you ready that you can be ready?
David Spoon:You can be like, okie dokie.
David Spoon:Let me say this really nice.
David Spoon:Ready.
David Spoon:You wake up and you say to the Lord, I don't know what today holds.
David Spoon:I know you hold today.
David Spoon:Here I am, right?
David Spoon:That's it.
David Spoon:Well, that's, that must have taken 5 seconds.
David Spoon:Be responsive to the Lord.
David Spoon:Be in tune.
David Spoon:Don't be so caught up.
David Spoon:We were talking about this earlier in the show.
David Spoon:Don't be so caught up in your list today that you cannot be used by the Lord.
David Spoon:Today you want to be ready to serve, to be a vessel for God, a billboard for the Lord to other people and in other situations.
David Spoon:You want to be there, to be connected to him on a every moment basis as much as possible.
David Spoon:Yes, I know you're not going to do that, as perfect as it can should be, but you can start by saying, here I am.
David Spoon:That's how you start.
David Spoon:D draw closer to the Lord daily.
David Spoon:N never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
David Spoon:A always be ready to serve.
David Spoon:That is our DNA.
David Spoon:Who was called God's friend?
David Spoon:Your answer is in James, chapter two, verse 23.
David Spoon: -: David Spoon:And we even consider, and many people do in the beginning of their Christianity as the beginning of any relationship, friendship or otherwise.
David Spoon:Kind of a honeymoon phase.
David Spoon:You first make a friend.
David Spoon:It's like everything about that friend is great.
David Spoon:When you first meet somebody you're going to date or be with, everything about that person's great.
David Spoon:Oh, it's all great and everything's great.
David Spoon:But in the kingdom of God, we go through that honeymoon phase and we honeymoon phase and then we forget that the enemy is no dummy.
David Spoon:Yes, he's an enemy, but he's not dumb.
David Spoon:He's been working on people since the very beginning.
David Spoon:In the garden and second corinthians eleven three says this.
David Spoon:I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
David Spoon:Now, we do have somebody that's going to answer the trivia question and we're going to give them that chance.
David Spoon:And then we're going to fire right back into this.
David Spoon:Uh oh.
David Spoon:An enemy is trying to deceive Eve and did so.
David Spoon:And the concern in scripture is that we too will be deceived.
David Spoon:That's a very powerful statement.
David Spoon:But in the meantime, let's get back to the trivia question.
David Spoon:Let's send the person through.
David Spoon:Knock knock.
David Spoon:This is David.
David Spoon:Who am I talking to?
Nancy:Hi, David.
Nancy:This is Nancy.
David Spoon:Hi, Nancy.
David Spoon:How are you?
Nancy:I've been struggling a little bit with my health, but, you know, we keep going.
Nancy:We keep, and by we, I mean the Lord and I keep going.
David Spoon:Gotcha.
David Spoon:Well, we will definitely be praying for you in the health.
David Spoon:Is there anything you want to share on that specific or you want to just keep it before the Lord?
Nancy:Well, it's just I had that.
Nancy:I've had a chronic issue that's popped up again and then we have the allergies and something I picked up in California.
Nancy:So that's all just kind of been a perfect storm.
David Spoon:I'm not going to comment to the picked it up in California line because it's just too easy to use.
David Spoon:But I.
Nancy:No, no, my.
Nancy:Okay.
Nancy:My great niece started playing the flute and I said, oh, play the flute for me.
Nancy:And she played it and then I played it after her, and it had a beautiful tone.
Nancy:I was so excited.
Nancy:And then that night, she came down to my dad's, and she said, I have a sore throat, and kind of went downhill from there.
David Spoon:Well, at least it wasn't something you picked up from the government there.
David Spoon:I mean, that's good.
Nancy:Yeah.
David Spoon:Right?
Nancy:Right?
Nancy:Yeah, I laid low.
Nancy:I was under the radar out there, so.
David Spoon:Yeah, that's hilarious.
David Spoon:All right, let's do.
David Spoon:Let's do the trivia question, and then we'll pray over you.
David Spoon:How about that?
Nancy:Okay.
Nancy:I've already forgotten what it was.
David Spoon:All right, here's the.
David Spoon:Here's the question.
David Spoon:Who was called the friend of God?
Nancy:Abraham.
David Spoon:That is correct.
David Spoon:Am I know.
David Spoon:I mean, what a guy.
David Spoon:I mean, he doesn't have a Bible.
David Spoon:He's just believing God, and it's like, wow.
David Spoon:I want to have that level of faith, that level of relationship with the Lord.
David Spoon:That's amazing.
David Spoon:And so I just love that.
Nancy:And he called him out of the ur, the Chaldeans, and he didn't even know who he was.
David Spoon:Yeah, it's so.
David Spoon:It's such a great thing.
David Spoon:And if you think about this, it's like, all right, we're gonna go here.
David Spoon:He's like, okay.
Nancy:Okay.
David Spoon:Yeah, I love it.
David Spoon:All right.
David Spoon:That is an excellent, excellent job.
David Spoon:So props for you on that.
David Spoon:And let me pray over you on your health.
David Spoon:Okay?
Nancy:Okay.
Nancy:Thank you.
David Spoon:Let's pray.
David Spoon:Father, we come before you.
David Spoon:We love our sister Nancy.
David Spoon:We are asking in the name of Jesus Christ, the Lord and savior of us all, and that by his stripes, of course, we are healed.
David Spoon:We know that in one Peter 224, and that you are Jehovah Rapha.
David Spoon:And we know that because your word teaches us that.
David Spoon:We are asking.
David Spoon: Exodus: David Spoon:And we are asking you, as the healer, as the comforter, that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you would move upon Anthony on her body.
David Spoon:And lord number one, take out that ridiculous cold sore throat thing.
David Spoon:That's goofy.
David Spoon:Number two, give her relief from allergies.
David Spoon:But most importantly, lord number three, move by your power on this chronic issue she's struggling with, which is no match for you.
David Spoon:And it only takes a moment to make this miracle.
David Spoon:And we ask you to bring a miracle into her body, into her life.
David Spoon:And in the name of Jesus, let her find freedom from this chronic illness so that she can put the praises on her lips over this enemy that's been defeated by you, for her, because you love her.
David Spoon:And we just ask you to pour it out upon her.
David Spoon:And fill her heart full of joy and comfort.
David Spoon:And we pray for the testimony for this to come soon.
David Spoon:And we pray it in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior.
David Spoon:Amen.
David Spoon:And amen.
Nancy:Amen.
David Spoon:Amen.
David Spoon:Keep me posted.
David Spoon:We'll keep praying for you.
Nancy:One more little, little thing.
Nancy:My daughter, my younger daughter Jill is at the doctor's right now.
Nancy:Her dad is with her, and they're discussing the surgery upcoming, abdominal surgery that she is going to have.
David Spoon:All right?
Nancy:So I just ask that, you know, the doctors know what they're doing and that, of course, she learned to call the Lord her savior.
Nancy:I don't even know how to say it, but you know, that she'd come to know the Lord God as her savior.
David Spoon:Amen.
David Spoon:So here's what I want the audience to do.
David Spoon:You're going to be praying for Jill, and you're going to be praying this.
David Spoon:That she calls upon the name of the Lord, of course, that there's health in the surgery and there's greatness and deliverance, but I want the audience to pray that Jill will call upon the name of the Lord as she faces the reality that life without a savior has got a lot of scary stuff in it.
David Spoon:And so we just.
David Spoon:Everybody knows.
David Spoon:Please take that on.
David Spoon:Take that as part of your being an October buddy.
David Spoon:And pray for Jill and pray for Nancy.
David Spoon:Pray for the situation to be resolved, but that Jill will call upon the name of the Lord.
David Spoon:Okay.
David Spoon:That's everybody.
David Spoon:Everybody's been charged with that.
David Spoon:Okay.
David Spoon:All right.
David Spoon:And you keep me posted, and I'll pray for her on the way home.
David Spoon:Okay?
Nancy:Yes.
David Spoon:Thank you.
David Spoon:All right.
David Spoon:God bless you.
Nancy:Okay.
Nancy:You, too.
David Spoon:Okay, bye bye.
David Spoon:All right.
David Spoon:Great call from Nancy.
David Spoon:I really mean that, folks.
David Spoon:I mean, I'm gonna pray other way home.
David Spoon:I want you guys to pray for.
David Spoon:I want you to share in that prayer time.
David Spoon:I want us to be connected.
David Spoon:Praying for Jill.
David Spoon:The surgery is really important because it's taking place right now, so we should pray for right now.
David Spoon:Lord, give those doctors wisdom and insight in the name of Jesus.
David Spoon:But we all pray that Jill would call upon your name and find you as her savior and lord.
David Spoon:In Jesus name.
David Spoon:Amen.
David Spoon:So I want everybody to pray that more than once in the next couple of days.
David Spoon:Just lifting her up before the Lord.
David Spoon:Okay.
David Spoon:Now, having said that, I don't see that we're going to make the exit, so you might as well just buckle in, because I just don't see that happening.
David Spoon:Here we go.
David Spoon:What I want to talk about going back to this is understanding this love that God has for us, and that we also have this enemy that just doesn't like that.
David Spoon:Did you know that Satan doesn't like the good news?
David Spoon:In fact, what Satan likes is bad news all the time, which then explains the media.
David Spoon:But here we go.
David Spoon:Second Corinthians, eleven three.
David Spoon:I'm afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from the sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
David Spoon:What the concern is, as Paul is writing under the verbal plenary process from the Holy Spirit, which means the Holy Spirit is communicating the message.
David Spoon:But Paul is not losing who he is, is that the enemy is no dummy.
David Spoon:And what the enemy does to you and I, and he does it.
David Spoon:And yes, I've taught it before, and yes, I'll teach it again.
David Spoon:And just like I said, even until the day is over, the enemy whispers, now that God knows you, does he really love you the same way?
David Spoon:Because what happens is, once you get saved, you think, ah, man, I'm gonna be.
David Spoon:I'm perfect.
David Spoon:You are positionally perfect.
David Spoon:But practically, you're finding out there's still a lot of rubbish in there.
David Spoon:But what we fail to remember is the truth.
David Spoon:And it takes the truth to defeat a lie.
David Spoon:You don't, you don't defeat a lie with other lies.
David Spoon:You only defeat a lie with the truth.
David Spoon:And the truth is that God is omniscient.
David Spoon:He knew everything about you.
David Spoon:He knew every nuance about you before you even existed.
David Spoon:And he chose you and poured himself out upon you.
David Spoon:And remember that verse?
David Spoon:The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying, I have loved you with an everlasting love.
David Spoon:The love of God wasn't up until a point, the love of God is everlasting, and the enemy is sitting there going, no, no, it's, no, it's not everlasting because you blew it.
David Spoon:You've done this.
David Spoon:You're stupid.
David Spoon:Blah, blah, blah.
David Spoon:You're terrible.
David Spoon:And God's like, I already told you, I love you.
David Spoon:And the enemy's in there whispering, really?
David Spoon:Really?
David Spoon:Did God say, wait, where have we heard that before?
David Spoon:In the garden?
David Spoon:Yea, hath God said, I mean, if that worked the first time to mess up humanity, what do you think how it's going to work on christians?
David Spoon:And so he's not a dummy in that sense.
David Spoon:He's whispering that thing.
David Spoon:And don't think that, oh, well, I do fail in that, and it must mean that I'm spiritually inept.
David Spoon:I just want to point out to you, that spiritual giants have also sidestepped, maintaining the joy of that salvation, the height of that love, the power of that love.
David Spoon:Even David in psalm 50 112 said, restore to me the joy of my salvation.
David Spoon:So he's losing it.
David Spoon:He's fighting it.
David Spoon:He's fighting to keep it.
David Spoon:He's trying to keep it.
David Spoon:Lord, keep it within me.
David Spoon:Restore it to me.
David Spoon:Give it to me.
David Spoon:I want it.
David Spoon:I want it.
David Spoon:But the enemy is not a dummy.
David Spoon:And I've said it before, and I'm saying it for a reason.
David Spoon:And this is the reason why.
David Spoon:Because there is a substantial difference between what?
David Spoon:Faith and feelings.
David Spoon:And this is where christians lose it right here.
David Spoon:It's not that christians shouldn't have feelings.
David Spoon:That's dumb.
David Spoon:It's that those feelings cannot be the engine that you exist by.
David Spoon:Did you ever.
David Spoon:I just.
David Spoon:I just want to make you really understand this.
David Spoon:Did you ever consider that the love of God that you have accepted by faith, but then you wake up and you hear what's going on, or you hear potential news, and the fear of the moment kind of seizes the air.
David Spoon:I know you know exactly what I'm talking about, that the fear seizes the atmosphere.
David Spoon:When you'll hear something about somebody, you're just like, oh.
David Spoon:And then all of a sudden, it's like the clouds are filled with fear, and it's raining.
David Spoon:Fear drops, not teardrops.
David Spoon:Fear drops.
David Spoon:And you're like, oh.
David Spoon:Oh.
David Spoon:And what does fear do?
David Spoon:It incapacitates.
David Spoon:It increases doubt.
David Spoon:It torments everybody.
David Spoon:Following me.
David Spoon:This is really important stuff.
David Spoon:I know some of you are getting to the heart of this.
David Spoon:Listen.
David Spoon:Jeremiah 17 nine says, the heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure.
David Spoon:Who can understand it?
David Spoon:You see, the heart generates in that connects to that fear process.
David Spoon:It kind of resonates and connects to it, you know, the darkness of a heart, which is why we need to have a clean heart and a renewed spirit.
David Spoon:And how we know this is true, I'll just give you the example.
David Spoon:So to really make it simple is simply this.
David Spoon:Ready?
David Spoon:You know what I'm going to say?
David Spoon:Doesn't matter.
David Spoon:You should still think of the truth of it.
David Spoon:Go to Taco Bell, eat 18 tacos and 36 chalupas and 17 burritos, and tell me how you feel.
David Spoon:Do you feel the love of God?
David Spoon:No.
David Spoon:Do you feel like everything's gonna be okay?
David Spoon:No.
David Spoon:You don't feel like you can get to a hospital fast enough?
David Spoon:Is the love of God removed from you because you can't feel it?
David Spoon:No.
David Spoon:The truth is, the love of God hasn't gone anywhere.
David Spoon:It doesn't change.
David Spoon:It's everlasting.
David Spoon:But it doesn't feel like it.
David Spoon:Yeah, that's because you're living by your feelings.
David Spoon:And then you let those feelings so intertwine that they become a faith issue.
David Spoon:That's what I'm trying to get to here, is that we need to separate what the enemy is trying to throw at us.
David Spoon:The lies, the non truths, the fake.
David Spoon:And we need to stand in the truth to overcome all of those lies and all of the bondage and all of the evil and all of the darkness.
David Spoon:Feelings are a part of life.
David Spoon:There's nothing wrong with feelings.
David Spoon:But they can't lead your life.
David Spoon:You can't lead by what you feel.
David Spoon:You have to lead with the truth and your faith in the truth.
David Spoon:You see, the first engine is truth, and you think, well, wait, Dave, shouldn't it be love?
David Spoon:No, actually, the first engine is truth, because the way the world defines love is not the way that God defines love.
David Spoon:So that's just a biggie right there.
David Spoon:But your faith has to overcome your feelings.
David Spoon:And what's critical, again, not saying that feelings are bad, not trying to indicate that in any way, shape, or form, but understanding that those feelings cannot dictate how you live.
David Spoon:If I went by my feelings regarding my wayward child, I would be in fear and terror.
David Spoon:But I believe that God is gracious and more powerful.
David Spoon:Just making reference to that.
David Spoon:Just.
David Spoon:I just have this great faith that God.
David Spoon:So I want.
David Spoon:So you have somebody like, we're asking prayer for Jill that she might call upon the name of the Lord.
David Spoon:And I may have that same prayer for one of my children.
David Spoon:And what I am trying to tell you and adult children are not the same as children who live in your house.
David Spoon:But what I am trying to tell you is that I can operate by fear or by faith.
David Spoon:And what is the decision?
David Spoon:I.
David Spoon:What.
David Spoon:What is the answer I am supposed to do?
David Spoon:Well, I don't know which one of those two will please God, because without faith, it's impossible to please him.
David Spoon:Okay, that's my answer.
David Spoon:And what the enemy tries to do is eradicate the truth with the feelings.
David Spoon:Now take it back to the original premise.
David Spoon:You see, the love that you had in your mind and heart from God has not moved.
David Spoon:But your feelings have moved.
David Spoon:Deception has moved, and you need to stand against it with the same faith as when you first said, yes, I surrender.
David Spoon:Because the truth is, God has not changed.
David Spoon:His love for you has not changed.
David Spoon:God is not for far.
David Spoon:If you feel like he's far, you're not living in faith.
David Spoon:Listen to what I'm trying to say to you.
David Spoon:The power of faith is greater.
David Spoon:I don't know if you read Hebrews.
David Spoon:Eleven.
David Spoon:Lately, we use that exact same faith to recognize God spoke and the universe came to existence.
David Spoon:That seems like a lot of power.
David Spoon:We use that same faith to see that people have seen the dead raised.
David Spoon:That seems like a lot of power.
David Spoon:Don't be afraid.
David Spoon:Remember, we talked about this.
David Spoon:Only believe and the enemy is like, no, no.
David Spoon:God doesn't like you the same way.
David Spoon:No, it's this.
David Spoon:No, it's ridiculous.
David Spoon:It's absurd.
David Spoon:It's contrary to truth.
David Spoon:And too many of us are letting the enemy deceive us.
David Spoon:God is not far.
David Spoon:If he is, he's a liar.
David Spoon:Uh oh.
David Spoon:Whoa.
David Spoon:Don't say that.
David Spoon:No, if he's far, he's a liar.
David Spoon:I am with you always.
David Spoon:Even to the end of the age.
David Spoon:It's either true or not.
David Spoon:We're either Bible believers or we're not.
David Spoon:We're either people of faith or we're not.
David Spoon:What are we?
David Spoon:Ooh, Dave, you gotta be nicer.
David Spoon:No, I don't.
David Spoon:Truth is, the truth doesn't matter.
David Spoon:God loves you every bit as much this moment as any other momentous.
David Spoon:It's us that needs to get on his page.
David Spoon:Get that?
David Spoon:All right.
David Spoon:Take a short break and then we'll come back.
David Spoon:You are listening to the David Spoon experience right here on Kam, 770, the truth station here in Texas.
David Spoon:Joy break.
David Spoon:We'll be back.
David Spoon:Don't go anywhere.
Unknown Caller:Like any person searching for answers, I too have wondered about him.
Unknown Caller:He has a weird sense of humorous.
Unknown Caller:If people are seeking wisdom and insight from the great teachers around the world, would they go to David?
Unknown Caller:No, I don't think so.
Unknown Caller:Those big ears really don't help.
Unknown Caller:Will people enjoy his perspective on culture, politics, food, sports and local and national news?
Unknown Caller:I don't know.
Unknown Caller:He's just a client.
Unknown Caller:Tune in to the David Spoon experience on Kam.
David Spoon:What is the David Spoon experience?
Caller discussing faith:When Joshua was trying to figure out, you know, the lord of his decision for the Lord, and he was doing pretty good and had good training, he made a decision to follow the Lord.
Caller discussing faith:Then he made a decision that he wanted to really commit to devotions.
Caller discussing faith:I told him I was proud of him for that.
Caller discussing faith:That's his own decision.
Caller discussing faith:He has to make that call.
Caller discussing faith:Nobody can choose that.
Caller discussing faith:You know, I was listening to something the other day, and this is one of the most bizarre statements you're never going to hear a more bizarre statement.
Caller discussing faith:I hope this gets on the radio.
Caller discussing faith:You know, you can be born and raised Jewish, you can be born and raised Italian.
Caller discussing faith:You can be born and raised in many different things.
Caller discussing faith:But you can't be born a Christian.
Caller discussing faith:Can't do it because you have to make a decision for Jesus Christ.
Caller discussing faith:There's no being born a Christian.
Caller discussing faith:That doesn't work.
Caller discussing faith:That's a lie.
Caller discussing faith:You have to make a choice, an individual choice.
Caller discussing faith:Your 15 generations of your family could be Christians when you're born.
Caller discussing faith:That does not make you a Christian.
Caller discussing faith:When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, that's when you become a Christian.
Caller discussing faith:You understand that difference.
Caller discussing faith:There's just something that dawned on me like, you know, people don't talk that way.
David Spoon:Well, he was born in a christian family.
Caller discussing faith:That doesn't mean he's a Christian.
Caller discussing faith:Plenty of murderers came out of christian families.
David Spoon:That doesn't mean a thing.
Caller discussing faith:That's nothing.
Caller discussing faith:But anyway, going back to, I had to share that because that's that thought that just really struck me as odd.
Caller discussing faith:I, but the power of our words is so noticeable and Jesus says, hey, you know, I got one for you.
David Spoon:By your words you're going to be justified.
Caller discussing faith:And by your words you're going to be condemned.
Caller discussing faith:So my question to pose is why that's so forceful and brutal.
Caller discussing faith:And the answer is in Matthew, chapter 15.
David Spoon:Matthew.
Caller discussing faith:You guys like that one, huh?
David Spoon:I like that.
Caller discussing faith:I can tell below.
Caller discussing faith:I like that.
Caller discussing faith:Matthew chapter 15.
Caller discussing faith: , Matthew: David Spoon:Out of the mouth.
Caller discussing faith:Come from the heart.
Caller discussing faith:And the reason that Jesus said, by your words you will be justified.
Caller discussing faith:And by your words you'll be condemned is because your words reveal what's in.
David Spoon:Your heart and you will know.
David Spoon:You can listen to other people and know by their spirit.
Caller discussing faith:And I'm not even talking about coarse language.
David Spoon:I'm not talking about swearing.
Caller discussing faith:I'm not even talking about any of that.
Caller discussing faith:I'm not even necessarily talking about negative speech.
Caller discussing faith:I'm talking about you will know a person's heart by what they say.
David Spoon:The David Spoon experience welcome back to the David Spoon experience.
David Spoon:Thank you for joining us here at KAM 770 the truth station here in Texas.
David Spoon:That's K Amen 770 the truth station here in Texas.
David Spoon:Here's your last trivia question.
David Spoon:Then we're going to send you to the website.
David Spoon:Here's your trivia question.
David Spoon:Get ready.
David Spoon:It should be pretty straightforward because we kind of already covered it earlier today.
David Spoon:What person in the Bible said, here am I.
David Spoon:Send me what Old Testament Prophet said, here am I.
David Spoon:Send me if you think you know.
David Spoon: -: David Spoon:David must increase.org what, which, which, what major profit?
David Spoon:Which major profit said here am I, send me.
David Spoon:There you go.
David Spoon:In the meantime, I'm going to send you up to the website, another website.
David Spoon:I'm just going to say one thing.
David Spoon:If you are inclined or able to give, please do so because we need that process to increase.
David Spoon:Is that a nice way to say that?
David Spoon:That's all I'm going to say about it.
David Spoon:Check it out on the website.
David Spoon:He must increase.org prayer request he must increase.org dot praise report.
Jammin Jacob:He must increase.org dot looking to give to this ministry.
David Spoon:He must increase.org dot confused by what's happening right now.
David Spoon:He mustincrease.org hemustincrease.org lego my eggo.
David Spoon:You know why I always get diego?
David Spoon:No.
David Spoon:Cause you grab for the corners.
David Spoon:See?
David Spoon:No corners.
David Spoon:Eggo waffles around.
David Spoon:Yeah.
David Spoon:So don't grab for the corners.
David Spoon:You know, we always have very good, like, life advice on this show.
Jammin Jacob:Is that out of the whole entire teaching?
Jammin Jacob:No.
Jammin Jacob:The feel of don't grab the corners.
David Spoon:Don't grab the corners.
David Spoon:That's right.
David Spoon:All right, what person in the Bible?
David Spoon:What major prophet?
David Spoon:Now what do we say by major prophets?
David Spoon:I told you the major prophets and minor prophets.
David Spoon:Which person in the major prophets?
David Spoon:There's only four of them.
David Spoon:What Bible person said, here am I?
David Spoon:Send me.
David Spoon:Who said that?
David Spoon:If you think you know, reach out to us and we'll see if you get it right.
David Spoon: -: David Spoon:History.
David Spoon:All right.
David Spoon:For those who need to know, although it's not the most important thing, today is national chess day.
David Spoon:It is World Postcard Day.
David Spoon:I remember back 55 years ago when postcards were cool, it is also moldy cheese day.
David Spoon:I got nothing to say about that.
David Spoon:And then let's see.
David Spoon: The only other thing is in: David Spoon:One of the few times ever in history where somebody probably told a joke about rocks falling from heaven and it actually happened.
David Spoon:Okay, I'm just letting you know.
David Spoon:Okay.
David Spoon:Now, we do have somebody on the phone that's calling in, and we want to give them the opportunity.
David Spoon:So let's send them on through.
David Spoon:Knock, knock.
David Spoon:This is David.
David Spoon:Who am I talking to?
Aura:Aura?
David Spoon:I'm sorry, what's your name?
Nancy:Aura.
Aura:O r a.
David Spoon:How are you today?
Aura:I'm doing wonderful.
Aura:How are you?
David Spoon:I'm fantastic.
David Spoon:Thank you for asking.
David Spoon:I do appreciate you asking.
David Spoon:All right, ready?
David Spoon:I'll set you up with a question and then you can answer.
David Spoon:Okay?
Aura:Yes.
David Spoon:What Bible prophet, one of the major prophets said, here am I.
David Spoon:Send me Isaiah.
David Spoon:That is correct.
David Spoon:I'm going.
Aura:I didn't count.
Aura:I didn't call in on the rest of them, but I got all the answers.
David Spoon:That's an excellent job.
David Spoon:So that's Isaiah, six eight.
David Spoon:What's amazing is that people are like, okay, here am I.
David Spoon:Send him.
David Spoon:Send us to me.
David Spoon:No, no.
David Spoon:Here am I.
David Spoon:Send me.
David Spoon:I'm ready, Lord, use me any way you want.
David Spoon:Excellent, excellent job.
Aura:This is my request back to the Lord every morning, all day.
David Spoon:Oh, that's so excellent.
Aura:By myself, because I'm not alone.
David Spoon:That is an excellent attitude, an excellent spirit.
David Spoon:I want you to know how proud God is of that because he loves it when his kids are like, here I am, Lord.
David Spoon:Use me any way you want.
David Spoon:It's like, that's just the best position to be in.
David Spoon:And I highly.
David Spoon:I highly commend you for that.
David Spoon:That's excellent.
Aura:The thing is, that's where the joy and strength of the Lord comes within you.
Aura:When he sees and knows your desire is his desire.
David Spoon:Exactly.
David Spoon:That's exactly, exactly right.
David Spoon:What a phenomenal, phenomenal thing to say.
David Spoon:Here's the thing.
David Spoon:It's like when people recognize that the very thing that God has put inside of you, that's the thing that makes everything right.
David Spoon:And okie dokie on track.
David Spoon:And when you present yourself to the Lord, you're tapping into that.
David Spoon:And that's what the Lord wants.
David Spoon:That's how he designed us to be.
Aura:It's what he faces you through, his word in you.
Aura:And it's not about the adwords.
Aura:The adword is there, but your focus and your faith is on the n word because it links up with his word and he honors his words.
David Spoon:That's right.
David Spoon:You know what?
David Spoon:You get mega proud.
David Spoon:We'll give you another clap hand because that is an excellent follow up response.
David Spoon:Excellent job.
David Spoon:Super, super glad.
David Spoon:And please call in more often.
Aura:I certainly will.
Aura:And just love.
Aura:And I'm getting so much nourishment and encouragement out of the radio show.
Aura:So God bless you all.
David Spoon:God bless you as well.
David Spoon:Thank you.
David Spoon:Thank you.
Aura:Bye bye.
David Spoon:Bye bye.
David Spoon:All right.
David Spoon:Phenomenal job.
David Spoon:Isn't that great?
David Spoon:That's so nice.
David Spoon:It's so nice.
David Spoon:Okay, now let's finish up.
David Spoon:I got about two minutes.
David Spoon:You wouldn't believe how much stuff I could talk about in two minutes.
David Spoon:But we'll just move on.
David Spoon:Here's the thing about the love of God.
David Spoon:And we were talking about the love of God, and we're going through this whole process.
David Spoon:I want you to pick up on this.
David Spoon:This is really cool.
David Spoon:First, John 416, listen to this.
David Spoon:I don't really have to say a lot.
David Spoon:Just listen to this.
David Spoon:And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
David Spoon:Stop.
David Spoon:Because everybody else will just go, God is love.
David Spoon:Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in them.
David Spoon:And they'll skip over this first part of the verse in one John 416.
David Spoon:Listen to the first part of the verse so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
David Spoon:I just gotta say it.
David Spoon:Do you and I rely on the love that God has for us?
David Spoon:Like when we first said yes, and we're like, yay, that love.
David Spoon:We're supposed to rely on that love.
David Spoon:We're supposed to count on that love.
David Spoon:We're supposed to know which, by the way, epigenosis is the greek word which means to know by contact, which means by relationship.
David Spoon:We're supposed to know and rely, depend, sit on, abide in, dwell, live, exist in the love of God.
David Spoon:It's not a fake love where God says, oh, do whatever you want.
David Spoon:I don't care.
David Spoon:That's not what's going on.
David Spoon:In fact, real love involves discipline.
David Spoon:Jesus said, as many as I love, I discipline.
David Spoon:It's to understanding that that love doesn't move.
David Spoon:It's everlasting.
David Spoon:God is faithful and true.
David Spoon:He's not going to blow it all on you.
David Spoon:I don't mean that rudely.
David Spoon:I'm trying to say it's not like, oh, I've done it for everybody else but you.
David Spoon:No way.
David Spoon:We know and rely on the love God has for us because he is love.
David Spoon:He doesn't stop being love because you did something dumb.
David Spoon:In fact, because he chose you, knowing you would do something dumb.
David Spoon:The fact that he's ever with you is proof of that love.
David Spoon:Just say yes and amen and enjoy him.
David Spoon:That's your big, big goal.
David Spoon:All right, folks, you've been listening to the David Smoon experience radio on KAAM 770, the truth station here in Texas 22 and a half hour break.
David Spoon:Then we'll come back.
David Spoon:More insanity with supermanity.
David Spoon:Talk to you then.
