Today we're diving into the legal implications that come with being a boss! If an employee is unhappy, they can actually sue you as a boss or manager. The implications can spill over into your life and become personal legal responsibilities. The ability of your employee to sue depends on federal law but also state and local laws.

The best thing you can do is think before you speak (or type!), and consider whether what you're about to share adds value or detracts. And remember: it's not just about avoiding legal issues, it's about building a relationship with your team so they feel valued and taken care of in the workplace.
