Ps Sean speaks about New Seasons today. The message is shorter than normal as our service was focused on Kids Church year group transitions.

In Mark 1 v 16 and following, Jesus calls His first disciples, who were fishermen to follow Him. They immediately left what they were doing....attending to nets...and followed Him. A "New Season" was suddenly upon these men!

These kind of Seasons can do two things to us - they can shape us or make us, but Ps Sean paints a picture of when a ship is anchored correctly and a seasonal change comes, it doesn't move. So if the winds changed or waves blew up all of a sudden, this is a new season but the boat being anchored properly should not start to move. If it was not anchored it would drift where the wind blew it. Likewise with us, we don't want our church to be people that are just blown from left to right or torn by the feelings or emotions. We need our anchor in Him. If we are not in Christ, we will not have an anchor for our soul.

Ps Sean leaves us with three questions for the next season in our lives:

• What are we or who are we trusting for this next season
• Who am I following
• Where am I heading

All of these questions are elucidated in the message but weneed to carefully examine the who, what, where and why of our lives.
