Tanya Chapter 48 By: Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz Hashem constricts himself so that we can live, that is real love. Hashem is infinite, Hashem constricted himself so that this world would be able to exist. One type of constriction is Hashem hiding & concealing his infinite power in a way that it is מקיף & סובב Like this world that G-D fills it all as it says הלא את השמים ואת בארץ אני מלא nevertheless Hashem is not revealed but sustains it in away of מקיף & סובב As when we meditate about some one or something our mind is wrapped around it but the thing or person is not physically in our mind. With G-D it say כי לא מחשבותי מחשבותיחם meaning that the person or thing is actually in G-Ds mind & that creates the thing but the infinite energy is concealed so that the finite person or thing can exist & not be consumed by the infinite power.
