Hey there, it's Michael. Welcome to Whole again. A show about helping survivors a physical injury and trauma, reclaim their strength and resilience. Through the wisdom of Kazuki
today, you'll discover a microdose practice that can improve your mental and physical health as you heal and will help you pause your scroll. So when you're ready, settle in to a comfortable position.
And take a moment to simply be resting your hands on your lap and closing your eyes if you like. And we will drop in. We'll begin with a generous breath in breathing up fully through your nose if you can, noticing the pause before you release the breath arriving into this moment. Giving yourself permission to slow things down and relax the body.
And as you settle in to the natural rhythm of the breath, as you're breathing in, notice that you're breathing in.
And as you're breathing out, notice that you're breathing out.
And as you continue in this rhythm, bring awareness to the body.
You might notice how you're making contact with the ground. Or different sensations in the body, or simply the rise and fall of each breath in and each breath out.
You are here.
You are safe
and you're not missing anything important.
Let this moment be your moment,
a chance to return to yourself and to remember. You don't have to consume content to be enough.
You can simply be.
And as we round out the practice, I'll invite you to take another healthy breath in and a releasing breath out.
And when you feel ready, you can open the eyes and wiggle your fingers and toes. And remember that comparison is the thief of joy. You've got this and I've got you. And together we'll put a beautiful ripple into the world.
And if you would like to discover additional micro doses of mindfulness and wisdom, you can download my Pause, breathe, reflect app, and join us here. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's seven 11 Eastern. Again, thanks for being here. I appreciate you.
