1. the action or state of including or of being included within a group or structure.
We all want to be included. Acceptance, safety, friendship, and even love are among the desirable feelings we have when we obtain the inclusion into that which we find desirable. Of course for all those who enjoy inclusion, an equal and likely greater number suffer the loneliness and isolation of being on the outside looking in. What if there were a people who were willing to live without boundaries, embracing the marginalized, and inviting everyone to the greatest open-door tribe in existence? What if?
One of our #fhcTAKEAWAYS this past week asked the question: I know there are things that keep me from seeing certain other people as “whole”. How do I recognize these in myself and change my perspective? We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas!
