Ian Hawkins is the Founder and Host of The Grief Code. If you want to feel like you are more secure within yourself, if you want to create security for your family, whether that's financially physically, or some other way. One of the most powerful ways you can do that is through your presence. How often at the moment, if you're honest with yourself, health at the moment, are you finding yourself not present? of drifting off into another space? You're there with your family but you're not present? You're not hearing them? You're giving automated answers and then getting said told to you without even listening to me. I asked you that new said yes. You have moments where you've got confusion, read distracted. It's pretty normal. In this day and age when we're rushing around 100 miles an hour I got different, different demands on our time and our energy. And usually the confusion comes or the lack of presence comes or the mental mentally not there comes from a lack of clarity. Clarity on what is most important for you clarity on what's the most important task and clarity of the steps to get there. And also clarity if he headed in the right direction. So if you're seeing that in yourself, or you're seeing it in your partner, the solution is clarity. Because when you have clarity, and you have clear steps, action becomes easy action in the right areas, you can start saying no to the things you need to say no to. And yes to the things that are most important. Think about how often you get caught and pulled in a whole lot of different directions into areas that just you want left wondering why did I say yes to that? It's exhausting. It fills your mind with a whole lot of unnecessary thoughts in trying to create solutions and solve problems that aren't even yours. And then you wonder why when you got that precious time with the most important people in your world, why you can't connect, why your partner doesn't seem to be there for you no in a way that you need that connect with your children properly. You don't seem to have the right time and like right quality time with them. Because you're not fully there. And that just further fuels your feeling that you're not doing a good enough job, that feeling of inadequacy that pops up in other areas despite your success, you still have that feeling of inadequacy. So the first place to start is with clarity on what you want, and the steps that you need to take and then a clear path to be able to take that action then it's not a question of I don't have the time and energy. It's a question of priorities. And you're now prioritizing what's most important not getting dragged into what isn't. Now no matter when you're listening to this this is what I do in my free training the start the change training. And it's a really small investment of your time. Couple of minutes today, getting it down, taking the action, where you go, changes everything. It's usually not that we don't know these things, it's just we don't make time to implement them. And there's nothing like being in another with another group of people who are doing the same thing who are inspiring you and motivating you to do the same.
