Speaker A:Hello everyone, and thank you for taking the time out in your day to join us today for this week's episode of the Get Fully Booked podcast.
Speaker A:I'm your host, Sarah Orchard.
Speaker A:I'm delighted to welcome another amazing host guest to the podcast today, Vicki Jones from Tractors and Cream.
Speaker A:Vicki and her husband Brian run a glamping and events glamping site in Somerset and are about to start their ninth season.
Speaker A:So they really are seasoned pros in the glamping world.
Speaker A:They have nine geodomes on their site, including an event stome, and they've been hosting weddings, retreats and parties galore.
Speaker A:So today, Vicki and I are going to chat about using AI for our glamping businesses and she's going to share her experiences and her tips.
Speaker A:Welcome to the podcast, Vicki.
Speaker B:Thank you so much for having me.
Speaker B:This is very exciting.
Speaker A:It was great to have you here.
Speaker A:So I thought we'd probably start with a little bit of a brief intro.
Speaker A:I've obviously given a little bit of a flavor of the business, but, you know, how did you get into glamping and how did you create tractors and cream?
Speaker B:It was something that just happened accidentally, I would say.
Speaker B:So we bought our house.
Speaker B:We moved from Surrey about 13 years ago, bought a house with some land in Somerset because obviously your money goes a lot further when you're moving from Surrey to Somerset.
Speaker B:And this, it came with a six acre field and we went down a lot of different ideas.
Speaker B:Should we keep goats on the land?
Speaker B:We went on a goat keeping course.
Speaker B:It was the most stressful day of my life.
Speaker B:So I was like, nah, not doing that.
Speaker B:Uh, we thought about, do we make ice cream and have somewhere nice for people to go and walk around while they eat their ice cream, like some sort of attraction.
Speaker B: which was, you know, back in: Speaker B:It was just mainly yurts but nothing else really.
Speaker B:So we sort of thought about it a bit more and thought, well, we met working in a hotel, so maybe we could make our own outdoor hotel.
Speaker B:So we got our planning permission ridiculously easy, which I don't like to brag about, but literally it was like the 400 quid application, eight weeks.
Speaker B:I think that was because back in the day it wasn't so much of a thing and the planners didn't really know so much about it, so we got it really easily.
Speaker B:And I feel really guilty about that, but I'm happy that it happened that way because we weren't bothered.
Speaker B:We were quite happy.
Speaker B:Like if they said no, we were like, okay, we'll try something else.
Speaker B:So we didn't have that expectation of that desperate want for it.
Speaker B:So it just, it just sort of happened.
Speaker B:And then we were like, right, okay, looks like we're running a glamping site then.
Speaker B:So we started with two yurts and then progressed to.
Speaker B:Well, then we added a bell tent.
Speaker B:That was awful.
Speaker B:Total disaster.
Speaker B:Blew down the wind.
Speaker B:So we were then trying to find like the most wind resistant canvas structure which ended up being a dome.
Speaker B:And fast forward nine years, we've got nine domes, one of which is an event dome.
Speaker B:And yeah, it's been interesting.
Speaker A:Well, I'm so glad you didn't go into goat farming.
Speaker A:Me too, because you've created an amazing glamping site and I know that you won't mind me saying this, but you do share your trials and tribulations because you have a YouTube channel as well.
Speaker A:And I'll put a link in the show notes.
Speaker A:So if anyone wants to check out Tractors and Cream and see exactly what Vicki and Brian get up to on, on a day to day basis in terms of being a host and obviously not selling ice cream or, well, maybe some ice cream or running a goat farm, you'll have to check out their YouTube channel, but it's very enlightening.
Speaker A:But I'm glad you definitely didn't go into that line of business.
Speaker A:And it's good to hear actually that you're a fellow Surrey escapee because we actually escaped from Surrey as well to move to the Wye Valley.
Speaker A:So we're all heading west to get away from the house prices.
Speaker A:And so glad that your planning was smooth and you were able to set up your site.
Speaker B:Yes, me too, me too.
Speaker A:And no goats in sight.
Speaker A:You don't have any goats on the site, do you?
Speaker B:No, we've got no animals at all.
Speaker B:I don't think I could cope with anything else.
Speaker A:Sounds like it put you off going on that course.
Speaker B:It did.
Speaker B:And it was such a good thing to do.
Speaker B:And this is the thing with all of it, even when you think about going into glamping, maybe test the water a bit, maybe see if you can get some work experience somewhere.
Speaker B:Maybe you can at least go glamping a few times just to see what other people are doing and do a bit more research.
Speaker B:We did zero research, so, you know, we just sort of tried it and luckily we liked it.
Speaker B:But it could have gone the other way.
Speaker A:Could have gone very much the other way.
Speaker A:Yeah, we did quite a bit of research.
Speaker A:We stayed in lots of different types of structures to see what we liked and didn't like.
Speaker A:And also you get lots of ideas when you stay in lots of different places to see, you know, how other people do it.
Speaker A:We were new to running a glamping type business and a unique accommodation.
Speaker A:So yeah, it's definitely a good top tip there.
Speaker A:I'm sure we could chat for quite a long time about all the trials and tribulations of being hosts.
Speaker A:But I specifically wanted to talk to you today about using AI, because I know that you're a big fan of the powers of AI.
Speaker A:So I thought we'd start with exploring a little bit about how you use AI for your glamping business.
Speaker B:So it's such a new thing, isn't it?
Speaker B:I know they've been using it and developing it for at least 10 years, but it's new to all of us really in the last year and I now use it every single day and cannot fathom how I live life without it.
Speaker B:A bit like the Internet.
Speaker B:I remember the days before Internet and now we couldn't live without it.
Speaker B:And I think AI is going basically the same way of we're going to end up using it every day without even realizing it.
Speaker B:Because even if you do a Google search, the top result is an AI generated conversation or answer about your question.
Speaker B:So we are all using it whether we really know it or not.
Speaker B:So I use it mainly for social media and email marketing.
Speaker B:So because I don't just do our own social media, I also work for Resnexus, which is a property management software.
Speaker B:So I do all their social media for the US and the uk.
Speaker B:I also do the Gita glamping industry trade association social media.
Speaker B:So therefore I have to, I wouldn't be able to run the business and do all the extra stuff that I do without the powers of AI.
Speaker B:So I think it and what's useful about it is, you know, these are three completely different businesses and I can use it and adapt it to create content that kind of goes across all three and makes my life so much easier.
Speaker B:So that's how I mainly use it is content generation and rewriting posts for Me writing content that I can then repurpose.
Speaker B:So yeah, and I mainly use ChatGPT.
Speaker A:Yeah, because you'd have to create a lot of content for those three businesses that you've just outlined.
Speaker A:So that would be a lot of work for you, wouldn't it?
Speaker B:Yeah, and if I didn't have AI, I don't think I would have been able to do it this time two years ago.
Speaker B:I would have gone into brain melt mush.
Speaker B:And just because it's just, it's just so much and it's constant and you know, we, we schedule it all.
Speaker B:So we sit down for meetings at the start of every month with Gita and with Resnexus and we plan out the content for the whole month.
Speaker B:Um, that doesn't mean we create all the posts and schedule them up there and then we just work out exactly what we're going to post on what days and then we create the content as we go along.
Speaker B:So Geeta, it's, it's me and a team and we kind of divvy up what we're going to do.
Speaker B:Resnexis is me and a different team and then Traps and Cream obviously is just me, so it's kind of keeping all that going all the time.
Speaker B:And yeah, I honestly don't think I'd be able to do it if we didn't have AI.
Speaker A:No, it's obviously your, your savior.
Speaker A:So do you use the Pro version of ChatGPT or do you just use the free version?
Speaker B:I just use a free version mainly because it's working absolutely fine at the moment.
Speaker B:However, I'm noticing it getting slower and I'm noticing it trying to tell me that, you know, if I want things faster, I need to pay more money.
Speaker B:So Brian and I did something the other day for something we were working on and it said, oh, you'll get this answer in five days.
Speaker B:I mean, it was a lengthy, it was a script for a YouTube video basically, but it was like, yeah, it'll take three to five days, but if you want it faster, get the premium version.
Speaker B:But at the moment for most of the content stuff I do, the free version is absolutely fine.
Speaker A:And I think also a lot of these platforms, what they tend to do is they start off free, they get their audience using the platform and then they move to more of a paid subscription model.
Speaker A:So if you think about even like email marketing software with Mailchimp, I used to use something called PicMonkey, which was good for before Canva came along in terms of editing images and that Started off free and then when people really got hooked on it, it's probably died to death now because of Canva.
Speaker A:But you know, it's like even Canva has sort of free bits and paid, you know, paid bits.
Speaker A:But, you know, ultimately it, you know, they, they get you hooked, we get used to using it and then they normally end up moving to a subscription paid model.
Speaker A:So I think we have to accept that probably make the most of it for the moment because it may not stay completely free.
Speaker A:There may not be a free option in the future.
Speaker A:We may have to pay for some of it.
Speaker A:So one of the biggest criticisms of AI is around how do you get it to sound like you?
Speaker A:And obviously you've just explained that you're creating content for three different, very different businesses.
Speaker A:So what's your tips in terms of how do you get ChatGPT to, you know, actually understand three very different businesses and their different styles as well?
Speaker A:Because one's obviously a trade association, one's a PMS provider, and then you've got a glamping business.
Speaker A:So they're all very different.
Speaker A:So how do you do that, Vicky?
Speaker B:So within ChatGPT, I tend to use it as a thread.
Speaker B:So ChatGPT is learning all the time.
Speaker B:Like I was having a conversation with it.
Speaker B:Conversation.
Speaker B:I will say please and thank you to it too.
Speaker A:I do too.
Speaker A:So you're not alone with that one.
Speaker B:And it said it was helping me with the podcast that John and I are doing for Gita and it said, oh, Vicky said do this and Vicky and John do this.
Speaker B:And I said, how do you know that my name's Vicky?
Speaker B:I didn't even realize that.
Speaker B:I told it that my name is Vicki and it remembered.
Speaker B:So yeah, so I just basically use it as a thread.
Speaker B:So I'll start, I'll have all the Gita stuff on one thread, I'll have all the resin exa stuff on one thread and I'll have all the trots and cream stuff on one thread.
Speaker B:So that means that when I'm creating Gita content, I'll go back to the post that I was originally like working on and I'll say with Gita in mind or you know, carrying on from this post or something like that.
Speaker B:So I'm keeping the same thread.
Speaker B:So then it remembers everything and it goes back and I remind it of things that we've done in, in that, in those previous conversations, which works quite well.
Speaker B:But you can also tell it your tone of voice.
Speaker B:You can say in a friendly and professional tone, please write this Rewrite this for me.
Speaker B:Or you can give it an entire paragraph that you've written in your tone of voice and say, can you please analyze this tone of voice?
Speaker B:And then it will analyze it for you.
Speaker B:And then you say, using this tone of voice, please, can you create this content?
Speaker B:So I haven't really had to tweak it.
Speaker B:I think it can from what you're telling it and the way you're writing it can sense.
Speaker B:It can tell the kind of tone of voice and talking about it like it's a human.
Speaker B:I know.
Speaker A:No, but I mean, like you were saying.
Speaker A:I mean, I do the please and thank you thing the other day.
Speaker A:I logged on and I went, hi, chat friend, can you help me with this?
Speaker A:It's a bit like I am now talking to ChatGPT things.
Speaker A:Things have got very serious.
Speaker A:So I think we're all the same.
Speaker A:So that's a really good tip.
Speaker A:I actually don't keep the same threads, but it's interesting because I use my chat account for two businesses, both get fully booked, and also the Hudnalls hi there.
Speaker A:Our Treehouse business.
Speaker A:And it does seem to remember stuff from obviously the previous conversations.
Speaker A:And I think that tip that you gave about uploading some content as well, to give it a point of reference.
Speaker A:I did that recently when I was writing a email and I gave it some text that I had written for the website as a point of, you know, reference, but also it had helped me to write some of the website copy.
Speaker A:So I'd given it some paragraphs, verse that I'd written that I felt was the right tone of voice and then said, write more copy.
Speaker A:So I took the old copy, pasted it in and said, rewrite this in this new tone of voice.
Speaker A:And it actually did a really good job.
Speaker A:So, you know, I think it's.
Speaker A:It's the trick is always in the prompting, isn't it, and giving it some points of reference.
Speaker A:So how much?
Speaker A:Another key criticism of Chat GPT and other.
Speaker A:There are other AI platforms available.
Speaker A:We're not.
Speaker A:We're not promoting Chat GPT particularly, but obviously it's the one that most people are familiar with.
Speaker A:A lot of people say that you have to spend a lot of time correcting and checking stuff and correcting stuff.
Speaker A:So how.
Speaker A:How are you finding that?
Speaker A:Are you having to spend quite a bit of time making it how you want it, or are you getting stuff that's maybe like 80, 90% there that comes directly out of the tool?
Speaker B:I would say, yeah, 80 to 90 there.
Speaker B:I'll sometimes Tweak a couple of things.
Speaker B:But I feel like the hallucination side of, of AI has really reduced.
Speaker B:Like even when you're doing image generation, you're not getting those like six fingers on a hand or like weird faces anymore.
Speaker B:It's so much better than it was.
Speaker B:So yeah, it's literally probably 90% there.
Speaker B:I'll sometimes just tweak a couple of things mainly because now people are starting to tell that it sounds like AI.
Speaker B:So like I know I'm scrolling through social media and like oh, ChatGPT has written that post.
Speaker B:Like you can tell, you can tell by the way and you can probably tell on the gator social media that AI has written it because of the specific emojis it seems to like to use.
Speaker B:So I'll sometimes take out and change out some of the emojis to make it less look like it's come from AI.
Speaker B:So sometimes I'll just rewrite stuff to make it sound more natural I think is the only way I can describe it.
Speaker B:But yeah, you could easily take the post as it is and it's perfect.
Speaker B:And the great thing about it is it's all spell checked.
Speaker B:It's not going to ever error with the grammar and the spelling like a human would.
Speaker B:So it's so much easier.
Speaker B:You know, you don't have to worry about that, that area of it.
Speaker A:Yeah, I think that's a really good point about the sort of spelling and grammar though it does seem to have a very two things that you.
Speaker A:One thing you mentioned which was the emojis, it seems to love the rocket emoji.
Speaker A:That's one of its favorites which appears frequently.
Speaker A:And the other thing is I think it has quite a set format.
Speaker A:Things like picture this.
Speaker A:Here's the kicker, it sort of comes out sometimes with some expressions that you sort of.
Speaker A:And a structure that, that you sort of think actually when you go like you say you can go through social posts or you can go through content online and sort of go.
Speaker A:That's AI because of the way that it, the way that it, that it writes.
Speaker A:So I think the other key thing, if you're putting facts in so obviously the sorts of content that you're doing, probably you don't have a huge amount of facts, although you may have some for Resnexus in terms of about the PMS systems.
Speaker A:But if you've got any facts it's, it's worth checking that sort of stuff over quite thoroughly because it does tend to make stuff up if it doesn't know it.
Speaker B:Yeah well, normally, normally I'm giving it the facts.
Speaker B:So I'm telling it the facts and I'm getting it to rewrite it and then I'll go and think, oh, is that what that said?
Speaker B:You put it.
Speaker B:Because it sometimes succinctly puts it in bullet points.
Speaker B:And then I'll go back and read and like, oh, okay, that is, that is true.
Speaker B:So the other thing it does is Americanizes some things which is great for Resnex because Resnex is an American company so it can have the organize with a zone.
Speaker B:But I've started telling it to use British English English like UK English for Gita and Taraxin Cream.
Speaker B:So it doesn't come up with those Americanisms.
Speaker A:Yeah, that's a really good tip actually about.
Speaker A:I don't actually I've never done that and it always annoys me when it puts the Z's in everything.
Speaker A:So actually that's a really good one to sort of say stop doing that chat, please don't do that.
Speaker B:And it will remember.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:It will know that it's been told off.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And it won't do it again.
Speaker A:So you've mentioned obviously that ChatGPT is the one that you use and that's your favorite.
Speaker A:Do you have any other tools, tools, AI tools that you've used?
Speaker B:So mainly for image generation.
Speaker B:So I use Canva a lot.
Speaker B:So I've got the pro version of Canva and Canva now has a, an image generation tool within that.
Speaker B:So I use that and I use Copilot, which is Microsoft's version.
Speaker B:I find that's an easier way of making photos.
Speaker B:Copilot's quite good at generating images and my daughter, she's 11, she will sit on Copilot and just create whatever images she wants of sloths and rainbows and she sits and does it and just she's honing her prompts then looking what she's.
Speaker B:What she's prompted, looking how the picture comes out and then redoing it.
Speaker B:Obviously a lot of these have a, have a limit to the amount of images they'll generate for you.
Speaker B:Chat GPT will generate images.
Speaker B:But I was trying the other day and it said, oh, we've reached our image generation limit for now.
Speaker B:And another reason it wants you to pay.
Speaker B:So I find Copilot is more likely to give you image generation.
Speaker B:If you want paid for then you want someone like mid journey because that's really good at image generation.
Speaker B:That will do like hyper realistic images for you.
Speaker B:But that's a paid for when you're talking like, I don't know, $24 a month or something like that.
Speaker B:So we don't, like.
Speaker B:I don't have the spare income to be spending that much money on for image generation because I don't use it often.
Speaker B:Obviously we, with the glamping site, we want beautiful images of our own sites.
Speaker B:But sometimes for, and even for Gita, we've got enough people that have given us photos to be using on our social media anyway.
Speaker B:But Resnexa sometimes is a bit.
Speaker B:Needs a bit of more interesting stuff because it's difficult to sell a property management software on.
Speaker B:On Instagram.
Speaker A:Yeah, it's difficult, isn't it?
Speaker A:Because actually for most of our businesses we need our own imagery to, to use.
Speaker A:But I think like you said, there's some instances or maybe if it was things like, you know, even, you know, family, say you didn't have like family around a campfire toasting marshmallows.
Speaker A:I mean, Canva's obviously got quite a good image bank that you can tap into and there's often lots of like pixels and Pixabay and Unsplash.
Speaker A:There's lots of sites where you can go and get images.
Speaker A:But I think the fact you can now create some that would be more specific to maybe what you were looking for.
Speaker A:I haven't tried any of the image creation ones, although one of my club members who was in my marketing club, she did an April fool sort of post on Instagram and she actually got ChatGPT to create a post and it also created an amazing image.
Speaker A:She pretended that her glamping site was going to have a water park added and it has a Wild west theme.
Speaker A:So it created this image, a bull and a chat with a Stetson on going down a water slide.
Speaker A:And it was absolutely brilliant, obviously as a spoof.
Speaker A:Not sure I, you know, would trust it maybe with creating some images, for example, for the Hideout.
Speaker A:But that was an example where I was actually quite impressed with what it came up with.
Speaker A:Made me wish I'd done an April fool post on social.
Speaker A:But I think these tools are always improving, aren't they?
Speaker A:And getting better and better.
Speaker A:So we've just got to go with the flow.
Speaker A:And I think, like you, I'm starting to use it now on, you know, a daily basis, every day I'm using it.
Speaker A:And it does make life so much easier, particularly if you've got existing content.
Speaker A:So if you're writing things like blogs or, or you even put something like messages in your email campaigns, you can repurpose that, which I'M always encouraging people to do with their marketing and you can actually go and for example, I even repurpose, you know, podcast episodes and the scripts, you know, the transcripts of the podcast.
Speaker A:You know, there's always some good tips in there that can then be put into a post or into another article and it's, it's been written by you.
Speaker A:So obviously it's, it's easier to then use the AI to repurpose it it which makes our marketing job so much easier.
Speaker B:Yes, exactly.
Speaker B:Like even for Gita, when we launched World Glamping Day the other day, we, I use it to help me write the content for the web page which like then asked it to repurpose for social and like take out the relevant points for a social media post.
Speaker B:And you could do the same like John writes all the newsletters but you could do the same for a email newsletter.
Speaker B:So you creating one big piece of content and then it's picking out the best bits that's relevant to those different areas.
Speaker B:So it's.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:So hours and hours of time saving.
Speaker A:Yeah, I think that's the real big time saver.
Speaker A:And things like, you know, I've encouraged members to, you know, my club members to use it for things like blogging.
Speaker A:You know, you, like you say you've still got to give it the prompt, you've still got to give it context and tell it sort of like a bare bones, like a straw man outline of what you want to talk about.
Speaker A:But then it can help you fill in all of the gaps and create something that you know when you're sitting there with a blanket.
Speaker A:Nothing worse is there with a blank piece of paper or a blank computer screen and you're thinking, I've got to create some content.
Speaker A:I've got to come up with my social captions or some hooks for a reel or I've got to sit here and write a blog post about dog friendly beaches that are near my glamping site from scratch and you've got nothing in front of you.
Speaker A:It's always that horrible feeling.
Speaker A:But now we can use the tools to make our life easier.
Speaker A:So if you were to give the listeners who maybe haven't used AI and then maybe some people listening in who have tried it a lot and are really confident and comfortable with using something like ChatGPT, what three top tips would you give a newbie to AI in terms of creating their marketing content?
Speaker B:So my first top tip is to make your prompt very specific.
Speaker B:So it's no good just saying create me a Social media post for tracks and cream.
Speaker B:Like that's not going to give you anything exciting.
Speaker B:So I say things like act as a social media marketer to create like a month's worth of engaging content for my site tracts and cream.
Speaker B:I want you to do polls, ideas for reels, storytelling, like give it a whole list.
Speaker B:I have got a prompt which I shared in our social media webinar the other day that I can.
Speaker B:You can put in the show notes if you want to.
Speaker B:That basically gives you a prompt that will very specifically choose 30 prompts or give you a month's worth of content for whatever, whatever social media you're doing.
Speaker B:And it, it detailed what, what day of the week I'd post it.
Speaker B:You can even use things like Blaze AI.
Speaker B:So that's a, that's a fairly new.
Speaker B:A bit like Canva, but it's.
Speaker B:It will do all your social media posts for you, it will schedule them out for you, it will post them up for you, it will create them for you, it will write all the content for you.
Speaker B:So yeah, it's about getting the prompt right is the top tip first of all because you and, and making it learn as well everything about your business.
Speaker B:So you can tell it to read your website, go and get the information from tractsandqueen.co.uk and then it will learn everything from that.
Speaker B:So be specific in a prompt is my first tip.
Speaker B:My second tip actually we talked about which was creating those threads to get your tone of voice so that you know, it learns and remembers what you're talking about.
Speaker B:So use those, use those threads to every time you want to create a post about something specific and then start a new thread for creating.
Speaker B:Give me ideas for reels or something like that.
Speaker B:Or let's have a whole thread about email marketing.
Speaker B:And I've done this campaign, I want to do a different campaign.
Speaker B:So you know, use that same thread and then we've actually already covered it using it to repurpose your content.
Speaker B:So yeah, like creating a webpage and then creating that into a social media post and then creating that into an email or even you write your email or get it to write your email for you and then say out of this email I want three different social media posts ideas.
Speaker B:So getting it to repurpose stuff as well and then have a bit of fun with it.
Speaker B:Like we've also done random AI generated videos.
Speaker B:Like I got it to squish up there was picker art.
Speaker B:So it's P I K P I K AI I got it to just squish up the dome as an end of season reel.
Speaker B:So it just picked up the dome, squashed it as a video and it was literally four seconds of video.
Speaker B:But back then everyone was like, how did you do that?
Speaker B:But it was like, you know, 10 minutes of AI generated video.
Speaker B:Video is much trickier.
Speaker B:And it's still quite a lot of them are in beta testing because they just haven't quite got video creation and AI right yet.
Speaker B:So I just the other day said, oh, can you make my dome spin?
Speaker B:But it just didn't do it 100%.
Speaker B:So I think that's still, they're still working on that.
Speaker B:Or you need to be on the paid for plans in order to get decent video generation.
Speaker B:But, but yeah, for photos and imagery, like, yeah, just have, have some fun with it.
Speaker A:I think that's the thing, isn't it?
Speaker A:Not being frightened of it.
Speaker A:Nothing can really go wrong because if it generates stuff that you don't like, you just don't use it.
Speaker B:Exactly, exactly.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker A:No one is watching while you're playing with ChatGPT and experimenting.
Speaker A:But I think those, those three tips, Vicki, were brilliant in terms of, you know, getting people started.
Speaker A:So thank you for sharing those.
Speaker A:And I think that sort of brings us to the end really of the.
Speaker A:The questions that I wanted to ask you.
Speaker A:Is there anything else you'd like to share with the listeners about your journey of using AI and how it helps you now in your business?
Speaker B:But yeah, the main thing is just as we said, just try it out.
Speaker B:I was talking to my friend the other day and I said chatgpt and she's like, what's chat GPT?
Speaker B:I was like, what?
Speaker B:How do you not know?
Speaker B:How, how do you.
Speaker B:Have you never heard about it?
Speaker B:And she wants to start her own business.
Speaker B:She's not sure what in.
Speaker B:We kind of gave it all her different ideas of things that she liked and she had this whole conversation about what she could start a business in.
Speaker B:It's epic.
Speaker B:Like, it's just so much fun and I think we need to not be afraid of it.
Speaker B:And I know I worry for content creators, I worry for copywriters, but at the end of the day you do still need those professionals to help you.
Speaker B:For some things, AI is brilliant, but sometimes you do just need a professional for like website copy and things like that.
Speaker B:So I would say use it.
Speaker B:But also don't be afraid to reach out to professionals if you feel like that is something that you need more help with.
Speaker B:Because we don't want everyone to lose their jobs to AI.
Speaker B:However, it is also generating an insane number of other jobs for people.
Speaker B:So, you know, these copywriters and things like that will also be able to use AI to their advantage and make their lives easier.
Speaker B:So it's.
Speaker B:Yeah, I love it.
Speaker B:Lots of people hate it.
Speaker B:But I think it is, especially for us small businesses who are really time poor, is such an incredible tool that we just need to use.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:One of the things we didn't talk about was that you can even use it to write replies to say you get a difficult guest or you have to send a sort of a bossy letter or email.
Speaker A:Well, it'd be an email.
Speaker A:These days you have to send basically a customer service type email to your guests and you can get it to write that in a non emotional way, which is the thing that's hard when you're the business owner.
Speaker A:So I think I used it the other day because I had a guest that had left the place really messy and I wanted to send them a follow up email because it was very bad and there's a lot of emotion when that sort of stuff happens.
Speaker A:So chat takes all of that out of it.
Speaker A:You just tell it the context like you said, the prompt, the context of what's happened and what you need to say and it comes up with the rest.
Speaker A:And it was very, it was very professional and it wasn't, it wasn't waffly and wordy, but it just, just got to the point and covered, covered off what needed to be said and it was really helpful because sometimes it's hard when you're, you know, you're in the business.
Speaker A:But I liked your suggestion as well about, you know, reaching out to professionals because ultimately if you don't know what your tone of voice is and you need help with your messaging and your brand positioning and your sort of, you know, you know, your storytelling and your own tone, sometimes, if you don't know that, it would be very difficult to get chatgpt to write something for you.
Speaker A:So sometimes you do need the help of those people, even at the beginning to get you started.
Speaker A:And then you can use chat to repurpose things.
Speaker B:Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker B:That's a brilliant suggestion.
Speaker B:Definitely.
Speaker A:Cool.
Speaker A:Well, I've really enjoyed chatting to you today.
Speaker A:I have one question that I've been asking everyone who's a host who comes onto the podcast.
Speaker A:So I'm going to ask you the question.
Speaker A:If you could have a famous person come to stay at Tractors and Cream, who would it be?
Speaker B:That is really easy.
Speaker B:I would choose Stacey Solomon and I tell you why not?
Speaker B:Because I'd love to sit down and have a chat with her around the campfire.
Speaker B:I'm sure she's lovely.
Speaker B:I don't know her, but she has an insane amount of like 6 million engaged followers.
Speaker B:And I've seen businesses that she's just tagged in.
Speaker B:Her stories get an insane amount of followers just from one tag in a story.
Speaker B:So I think from a business point of view, I would love her to come and stay and shout about on her Instagram and hopefully that would gain us loads of followers like that.
Speaker B:Yeah, I think that it would be Stacey Solomon.
Speaker A:That's a good shout.
Speaker A:I think that's a good person to invite along for.
Speaker A:The media opportunity would be huge with that one.
Speaker B:It would.
Speaker B:It's a shame.
Speaker B:She'd probably want thousands of pounds to do it, though.
Speaker A:Yeah, I'm not sure she will accept the offer.
Speaker A:But you never know.
Speaker A:She might never know.
Speaker A:She could be listening in and she could come and stay with you, so fingers crossed.
Speaker A:Vicki, thank you so much for joining us today.
Speaker B:Oh, it's been a pleasure.
Speaker B:Thank you so much for having me.
