Today’s episode is one that really speaks to the heart of why we do this show.
I’m so excited to introduce you to Dana DiPrima—an “accidental farmer” turned full-blown ag advocate who’s now leading a nationwide movement to support small and mid-sized farms. Dana’s story starts in New York City, takes a detour through a backyard chicken coop, and lands on a mission to uplift the farmers who feed our communities—and honestly, it’s one of the most inspiring journeys I’ve come across.
She’s the founder of the For Farmers Movement, a grassroots initiative that’s given out nearly 200 grants in 46 states. In this conversation, Dana and I talk about the importance of small farms in strengthening our food system, the power of connection, and what it really looks like to support agriculture from the ground up.
She’s honest, hilarious, and completely candid—oh, and she also hosts her own podcast, One Bite is Everything!
Let’s get dirty with Dana.
