Having a job is a crucial part of our lives. With it, we can have a roof over our heads. However, we cannot support ourselves financially when we are in the workspace and the environment of it all we wonder to ourselves is who I am going to define if you keep the job. These are questions many LGBTQ+ members face in the workplace. Today we will be touching on the following:

• The work environment for the LGBTQ+
• Explaining your identity in the workplace
• Knowing your work environment

We were having a conversation about this and building a map to understand the issue and find the right approach to address it. The workplace is hard as it is, and adding in sexual identity and being trans and claiming it's an issue in most cases when sex has nothing to do with your job description.
