Shownotes
When you picture recording a podcast, you picture a stage and a crowd. That's exactly why it feels so scary, and it's also completely wrong.
In this episode I want to change the picture in your head, because a podcast isn't a broadcast to thousands. It's one woman, on her own, with your voice in her ear while she drives or walks the dog, and that closeness is the whole reason it works.
I get into why a podcast sells when a reel never quite does, why trust is the thing that actually makes people buy, and why a few hundred women who feel like they know you beat thousands who half recognise your face. There's a number in here about how people decide to buy that should completely change how you feel about your small audience.
It's five minutes, and there's one lovely, easy thing to do next time you listen to a podcast you love.
