Shownotes
This week's episode of Excelsior Journeys is a very personal one. Having known and worked with Mark Pannebaker, it's clear that the man has a passion for providing a platform for local creatives of all kinds: authors, artists, poets, stand-up comics, musicians. And Spine Bookstore & Cafe is an ideal hub for those creatives. This is why it was so exciting to finally get a book signing set up at the cafe on August 5, 2022, and Mark set up a long Q&A for me where I got to tell my own origin story as an author and podcaster and even get to read from some of Ever Upward: Part Two in The Excelsior Journey.
My call to action to all of you in St. Louis is simple: let's give Spine some business. Support the place that supports you as an artist, and let's make this the success it deserves to be. Spine Bookstore & Cafe is at 1976 Arsenal St. in St. Louis, just a couple blocks away from Gus's Pretzels.
