Shownotes

Human trafficking is modern-day slavery and involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. On this episode of The 411 Live, we talk about Sex Trafficking and It's Impact on the Family. Our host is Beverly Taylor, retired news anchor/reporter at WITI-TV (Fox 6 News). Today's guests are Dr. Debbie Lassiter, CEO of Convergence Resource Center and Lisa McCormick a Parent Advocate. Dr. Debbie Lassiter defines sex trafficking and its affect on the family and Lisa talks about her son who was trafficked by men who were sexual predators. She explains how they kept her son drugged up while they sold him over and over again to women.
