The culture of “Nurses eating their young” has been around in the profession for a long time. It's a topic of hot discussion in my workshops and every Nurse I have spoken to has either experienced it themselves or know someone who has.   Nurses are nurturing and compassionate professionals. However, treating novice and student nurses poorly continues to be an ongoing problem.  Workplace bullying is the persistent pattern of mistreatment in the workplace that causes physical or emotional harm.  In this episode, Tracy and Emma share how they are committed to changing the culture of “Cannibalism in Nursing”. It’s our responsibility to stop this toxic culture, and to create a healthier work environment.
