The road to Lake Chelan is paved with bad omens. In the latest chapter of our Delta Green crossover, the investigation into a "burned" agent takes a sharp, jagged turn at Snoqualmie Pass.

What was supposed to be a routine pit stop for hot chocolate and energy drinks descends into a high-altitude nightmare. As the team tries to outrun a growing sense of paranoia, they realize that the "forgetting" isn't just a clinical diagnosis, it’s a contagion.

Speaker:

Hey dad, it's me.

2

:

I was just giving you a call back.

3

:

Sorry I didn't get to call you back last week.

4

:

It's been pretty busy at work and you know the kids.

5

:

Well I just wanted to catch you before your morning run and let you know that I'm excited

to go see It's a Wonderful Life with you tonight.

6

:

Well anyway, I love you dad.

7

:

I'll see you then.

8

:

Hey dad, it's me again.

9

:

I haven't heard from you.

10

:

Just wanted to make sure we're still on for tonight for the movie.

11

:

Thanks.

12

:

I'll talk to you later.

13

:

Love you.

14

:

Sorry for bugging you again, Dad.

15

:

Haven't heard from you.

16

:

Getting a little worried about you.

17

:

Hey, I don't know where else to put this, but, you know, I got the call and heard that

someone hit you with their truck and you're gone.

18

:

eh.

19

:

You know, every call back that I didn't give and every time we didn't get to hang out and

I was too busy.

20

:

I mean, I know you tell me not to worry about it and that's just how life is, but I don't

really know what I'm doing or why I'm calling you again.

21

:

But I love you.

22

:

Can't say goodbye yet.

23

:

Morrison Magpie, Mull and Miles are all in your gray spray primered mini vein that smells

of, if recall correctly, McDonald's milk.

24

:

Ron.

25

:

The Cheese Box.

26

:

Yeah.

27

:

Yeah, that sounds awesome.

28

:

So the four of you are in the minivan, you're...

29

:

you've left Seattle proper.

30

:

Headed east.

31

:

You've got some time, you're gonna have to stop for gas somewhere along the way, but

that's maybe in an hour and a half.

32

:

You guys making plans?

33

:

Morrison, what do we have so far?

34

:

What do we...

35

:

We...

36

:

You know, we gotta go check on Roger and then also I guess if he's not home we can go talk

to the doctor that he's been seeing.

37

:

What was her name again?

38

:

My notes do know it's Dr.

39

:

Irene Crane.

40

:

great.

41

:

Yeah.

42

:

Then perhaps you also know.

43

:

Yeah, it's Irene Kramer.

44

:

Good job, Magpie.

45

:

Second Magpie is gonna do great for us.

46

:

Well done, Magpie 2.

47

:

Yeah, well I do just got a question.

48

:

How about how long did this fake testing go on?

49

:

Like how long am I gonna play along like you all knew that?

50

:

uh You don't have to.

51

:

Okay, well it's good.

52

:

Maybe we just set it to bed right there.

53

:

That's work?

54

:

Yeah, it's a new uh turn of the age, I suppose.

55

:

Sure.

56

:

Ha, sure, Magpie 2, now you're just Magpie.

57

:

Magpie Prime.

58

:

Magpie Prime.

59

:

Why do you like that?

60

:

It's a new paradigm.

61

:

So we're looking for this guy, right?

62

:

And he went to the library that flagged one of their off-limits text from this archive.

63

:

We don't know exactly what was on the original, which maybe we should investigate that

later, but we do know that he left there, acted strange, almost like he had dementia,

64

:

which he potentially has a diagnosis for, and then very anachronistically is the right

word.

65

:

left with a, like without dementia almost, like he looked very focused and together when

he left and drove away.

66

:

So there's something strange about his psychology, right?

67

:

And we know that Irene is his doctor over in Chelan and we have his address in Chelan as

well.

68

:

What do you, what are we supposed to accomplish here, you think?

69

:

were given three things, right?

70

:

that correct?

71

:

Yeah, I have the...

72

:

If I remember correctly, was determine uh Roger's interest in this forbidden text.

73

:

surveil him for other actors or other people involved and confiscate dangerous things.

74

:

and potentially destroy them and potentially kill him if needed.

75

:

It didn't sound like surveillance was a reasonable option.

76

:

So perhaps we don't just go rolling up his driveway.

77

:

Maybe we take a pair of binoculars and keep a perimeter for a time.

78

:

Yeah, I think that's a great idea.

79

:

I'd like to see if there's anybody coming and going or if this Dr.

80

:

Kramer shows up at his abode.

81

:

Or if he shows up at Dr.

82

:

Kramer's.

83

:

And we knew where he was going up until the 27th, right?

84

:

He was heading, we tracked him through the turnpike system.

85

:

Yeah, the good to go pass, we were able to track him going back east.

86

:

So he came over here and took some pictures, hundreds of them, presumably, and then F'd

off back east.

87

:

Yeah, so who's he doing this for?

88

:

I don't know.

89

:

There's a lot of questions here.

90

:

Go ahead, Monser.

91

:

guess a question ah I just thought about was, do you think, maybe we don't do this now,

but for that surveillance, do you think we could get phone records for him?

92

:

You know, he took those pictures.

93

:

Maybe send an amount to people either through email or text.

94

:

Yeah, I mean, we're clearly interested in co-conspirators.

95

:

And if there's any way to pull some strings, think we oughta while we're driving.

96

:

Yeah, well, I mean, do you have any contacts in any like T-Mobiles here?

97

:

Like, do you know anybody?

98

:

I'm a sprint guy, actually, so unfortunately, no.

99

:

Could we...

100

:

Oh, we already tried calling in some favors.

101

:

I got a nephew who knows how to jailbreak an iPhone if that'll help.

102

:

okay.

103

:

Jailbreak, you say?

104

:

What's that?

105

:

I don't even know what that means.

106

:

You can just get all the apps, you know.

107

:

Candy Crush and Flappy Bird and that.

108

:

Bird?

109

:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

110

:

God, can you jailbreak mine?

111

:

Maybe another time.

112

:

You would know that, mean, Miles would say like, if we get his phone, can give it a crack.

113

:

you know, I did a lot of things like that in college.

114

:

um

115

:

Yeah, are there perhaps any other wheels we could get turning the phone records or

anything else like that research wise while we're on the road?

116

:

I mean, perhaps even just calling Dr.

117

:

Kramer and seeing if maybe we could make an appointment or, you know, some way to make our

acquaintance.

118

:

Uh, sure.

119

:

Do you think it would be worthwhile to fake being a doctor to get some records or

something?

120

:

Or do you want to just try to get an appointment with her specifically?

121

:

You know, if it goes sideways, I don't see us having a second go at it eh if it all falls

apart.

122

:

But I leave that to you.

123

:

I mean, if we're making an appointment as a patient, uh asking her about Roger's activity

would be kind of weird.

124

:

Maybe there's a better approach.

125

:

Yeah, patient.

126

:

Who knows, right?

127

:

It could be a consult.

128

:

We could be going in as a colleague.

129

:

Could be posing as our personal selves.

130

:

I got a rash and he looked at.

131

:

and all of a sudden, you know, his records are on that computer too.

132

:

I think if we wanted to try to figure out what Dr.

133

:

Kramer does, know, specialty, how she does things, it'd probably be good to, you know,

pretend to be a patient.

134

:

think calling her as a colleague may be a little bit easier to get information about.

135

:

I'll Google her again.

136

:

We saw the appointment book line, but I, there's, is there a Zoc doc or something like

that with him?

137

:

Sure.

138

:

Therapy.

139

:

Therapy Mental Health Services.

140

:

How well do we think we can pretend to be mental health specialists?

141

:

Because I don't know if I can pull that off.

142

:

You know, that's not one of our strengths.

143

:

I clap mole on the shoulder and be like, well, he did a great job with the librarian.

144

:

So I had the strength of a thousand therapists.

145

:

I don't understand what you're talking about, Morrison.

146

:

Well, what I'm getting at is, you know, we're like law enforcement type of people.

147

:

We know he's got dementia and we know he's on the run, right?

148

:

mean, law enforcement gets involved in lost person cases all the time.

149

:

Maybe we call her and we say, hey, have you seen him recently?

150

:

Was he talking about anything that might give us an idea where he went?

151

:

Just trying to, you know, I'm not trying to put the left shoe on the right foot.

152

:

You know what I'm saying?

153

:

Yeah, I mean- That's excellent.

154

:

Perhaps asking as though we were uh concerned, right?

155

:

We want to make sure he gets back to his care and his support system and all that.

156

:

And he was perhaps picked up in a bit of a scuffle or he seemed out of sorts or something.

157

:

You just want to make sure that he's made it back.

158

:

And perhaps if there's any reason that she knows of that, you know, he might draw him over

this way.

159

:

Loved ones or something he's been talking about or who knows what.

160

:

I feel like that would be a more successful play.

161

:

Morrison used to be law enforcement?

162

:

I know we don't typically talk about that stuff, but I'm curious.

163

:

No, but I do consult with search and rescue sometimes, so...

164

:

ah You know, it's not unreasonable if you got lost in a back country.

165

:

You know, I've talked to people before about stuff like that.

166

:

Yeah.

167

:

We could put her on speakerphone and say that we're a group, or I could give her a call

and use my old mole charm.

168

:

Magpire, you've never been in law enforcement.

169

:

You're pretty young, so...

170

:

Yeah, that's true, where you going, Lord Ed?

171

:

Just ask and see if anybody knows the language.

172

:

sure as hell don't, I'm a scientist, so.

173

:

Nah, I mean, nobody would take my opinion on a mental health case.

174

:

know, just a voice alone, you doesn't get a lot of credit.

175

:

Yeah.

176

:

I could probably BS my way through it if I'm being completely honest with you.

177

:

I have a history with law just on the other side of things.

178

:

All right.

179

:

Yeah.

180

:

mean, that doesn't surprise me more.

181

:

Yeah, you're a fast talker, smooth talker.

182

:

So I'm going to put my faith in you,

183

:

I that was self-evident.

184

:

Yeah, I guess I'll just pick up a phone and call her, or pick up my cell and call her

office.

185

:

I give you the new phone that uh Agent Madison gave us to use for the mission.

186

:

Like here, bud, use this one.

187

:

Okay, we have her number, right?

188

:

Yeah, we do.

189

:

I mean, we can Google.

190

:

I mean, we could look it up and call our office, I assume.

191

:

Yeah, and then I guess if I have to leave a message, I'll just leave it for this burner

phone probably.

192

:

Yeah.

193

:

we have.

194

:

Yeah.

195

:

Okay.

196

:

All right.

197

:

Yeah, and I pull out the, or I take the cell phone, call up the number for Irene Kramer.

198

:

Yeah, me luck.

199

:

see if you can reach a healthcare professional.

200

:

a critical success.

201

:

Good job.

202

:

You, you, you...

203

:

The phone rings twice and someone picks up.

204

:

Hello?

205

:

Hey, Dr.

206

:

Kramer.

207

:

My name is Agent...

208

:

Wow.

209

:

Officer Harrison.

210

:

I am with the Seattle PD.

211

:

We had a run-in with a patient of yours who was maybe making threats, credible threats

really, to one of our librarians at University of Washington.

212

:

I am a little concerned about him.

213

:

We had somebody recognize him as somebody who lived in Chelan and we haven't seen hide or

hair of him.

214

:

I'm a little concerned why he's here.

215

:

He seemed disheveled.

216

:

eh Would you mind telling me a little bit about what's been going on with him and why he

may be in Seattle?

217

:

I'm sorry to hear it.

218

:

Who is it?

219

:

Roger Douglas?

220

:

my god.

221

:

Oh, okay.

222

:

uh Roger is one of my patients.

223

:

He has uh severe early onset dementia, um but he's also having a lot of trouble with uh

paranoid episodes.

224

:

And I'm worried that this might be something to do with that.

225

:

He seems to have the very standard deluge.

226

:

I don't think he would hurt anyone.

227

:

Mmm.

228

:

Please.

229

:

Please know that.

230

:

I've seen no indications that he would actually harm an individual.

231

:

He's very frightened all the time.

232

:

I saw him day before yesterday.

233

:

He's actually scheduled to come in for an appointment at 3.30.

234

:

I know on before his appointment's with me, he has an appointment with his doctor at the

hospital.

235

:

If you need to come talk to him in a uh neutral setting where he is comfortable, I could

arrange for that.

236

:

I really hope is the librarian all right.

237

:

Oh yeah, she was okay, I think just a little shook up.

238

:

Is she pressing charges?

239

:

No

240

:

We talked her down from that.

241

:

I told her that, you know, we would see how things go.

242

:

I'd try to contact you, maybe his other physicians if I could, if you maybe have any of

their information.

243

:

No, he's seeing Dr.

244

:

Andrew Adler for his dementia.

245

:

uh It's getting a lot worse.

246

:

We're looking and trying to arrange for some form of permanent care, and I think this

might be the push he needs.

247

:

Oh, yeah, that's pretty common with people who are dealing with dementia, some sort of

running with the law and then it turns into something where they no longer can take care

248

:

of themselves.

249

:

If that's something you need, some sort of report or something, we'd be happy to provide

that to you.

250

:

eh Do you know if his medications have been changed or anything like that with this Dr.

251

:

Adler?

252

:

I mean, if not, I'm gonna call him anyways.

253

:

Not that I know of.

254

:

I don't really have a whole list of his medications.

255

:

Sure.

256

:

But you do feel like he's nonviolent.

257

:

He wouldn't cause violence on someone else.

258

:

No, well, no, I don't think so.

259

:

Oh, can I humant that?

260

:

that's a 62, but I'm gonna spend the luck that I have to turn that into a 26, if that's

okay.

261

:

Speaking of which, don't know that we've said this on mic, but we're gonna play with the

swapping luck rules.

262

:

You have luck or you don't.

263

:

If you do cool stuff, you get your luck back.

264

:

You can spend your luck to swap the two numbers on your dice.

265

:

So a 62 becomes a 26.

266

:

I will spend my luck to get that 62 to a 26.

267

:

Yeah, she does not sound certain that Roger Douglas wouldn't hurt somebody.

268

:

She's not telling a cop that her patient might hurt someone.

269

:

Seeing as there's no charges being pressed, nobody was actually hurt, she wants to get to

the bottom of this, maybe.

270

:

But she sounded very, very uncertain for a moment.

271

:

Okay.

272

:

Um, Dr.

273

:

Kramer, I'll tell you, we have no intention of pursuing charges if this man's dealing with

early onset dementia.

274

:

That's not really something that even if we were to arrest him that anyone would want to

prosecute, quite honestly.

275

:

As such, if you think he is a direct threat or could be a direct threat, it'd be really

helpful to hear some of that information from you.

276

:

He gave me something, told me to hang on to it in case he ever, in case they ever got him.

277

:

And it's, you know, it is really slipping past what is.

278

:

It's bad.

279

:

It is highly delusional, highly paranoid.

280

:

It's a manifesto about monsters and

281

:

the government and I'm just worried that if somebody frightens him, which is easy with

this sort of paranoid delusion that he used to work law enforcement.

282

:

He's not incapable of harming someone.

283

:

So I guess what I'm saying is if you need to talk to him, maybe approach him in plain

clothes.

284

:

Uh, that's a good suggestion, and I appreciate that.

285

:

Do you think if we were able to swing by, I am going to try to figure out if we could be

at that appointment, but I'd at least like to see that manifesto.

286

:

Is that something you'd be willing to share with me or?

287

:

ah

288

:

I don't know, that's pretty...

289

:

It's pretty private stuff for Roger.

290

:

If it's not for a uh medical reason or a legal reason, I don't think I can really give

that to you.

291

:

Sure, that's reasonable.

292

:

I guess it may help us, especially if he doesn't show up to his appointment today, it may

help us understand where he could potentially be.

293

:

I guess...

294

:

I guess if he doesn't show up, we'll talk about it then.

295

:

Yeah, that's totally fine.

296

:

Maybe if we're able to make it to talk with him, then we can have that discussion in

person.

297

:

If not, if it's okay with you, I'd like to circle back after he comes around.

298

:

no.

299

:

Do you know where my office is?

300

:

Oh, no.

301

:

Or do we?

302

:

No, I don't actually.

303

:

Could you give me the address for that?

304

:

That'd be really helpful.

305

:

Yeah, she gives you an address in Manson, uh where her therapy practice is.

306

:

It's northwest along the lake.

307

:

And then with that uh successful human, can I have like a general?

308

:

I feel like she's hiding anything else or do want me to roll that again?

309

:

think you've got pretty well as you're gonna get on this.

310

:

Last thing- seemed like I was hiding stuff from you?

311

:

No, it did not.

312

:

um The last thing I'll ask of you is, were there anything specific, and again, you don't

need to divulge anything you don't feel like is appropriate, but anything specific in

313

:

these delusions that may help us pinpoint where he is or what he's doing?

314

:

He believes that he's being stalked by a group of killers and that someone has sent them

after him.

315

:

don't...

316

:

He's not usually...

317

:

The reasoning changes.

318

:

The entity that has sent them after him changes.

319

:

It's not very consistent.

320

:

he does consistently worry.

321

:

that he's being hunted.

322

:

I see.

323

:

see.

324

:

And then I guess the very last thing I'll ask just for safety, em and then you can hang up

on me.

325

:

Does he have any emergency contacts or a DPOA or anything like that in case we were to,

you know, have a run in with him, somebody that we could talk to?

326

:

What's DPoA?

327

:

uh

328

:

durable power attorney is based

329

:

if he can't make his own decisions, that's who makes his decisions for him.

330

:

No, I'm sorry.

331

:

No DPOA, Rogers.

332

:

Ever since his mom died, uh he left his um voluntary institutionalization to move into the

house in Chelan.

333

:

And that was...

334

:

I don't think that was good for him.

335

:

And I've been trying to talk to him about that.

336

:

Sure.

337

:

It was voluntary, so he left.

338

:

It sounds like he was still able to make decisions for himself.

339

:

but increasingly less rational.

340

:

Okay.

341

:

Ask her the name of the facility.

342

:

Just make it up.

343

:

Bright View Homes.

344

:

I came up with three versions in my head and all of them had bright in it.

345

:

100 %

346

:

Nice.

347

:

It's awesome.

348

:

Collective unconscious.

349

:

Truly.

350

:

All right.

351

:

Well, I appreciate all of that.

352

:

em We will keep in touch with you.

353

:

Either we'll see you at 3.30.

354

:

Would it also be all right if I gave you this phone number to call us in case he doesn't

show up?

355

:

That would be double.

356

:

Does Maul know his phone number?

357

:

Uh, do we know the phone number to the thing?

358

:

ah

359

:

I take the phone from you and I push the like contacts and I just point to where your

contact

360

:

Yes, here is my, here is the number and then I give her an excellent number.

361

:

a which I totally uh

362

:

A number I know.

363

:

Yeah, I don't know about you, but like getting a new phone is like, I don't know how you

can possibly reach me or how to obtain that information.

364

:

No, oh you don't know panic until you're calling a family member telling them some

terrible news and then they say can we call you back and you're like Sure, I don't fucking

365

:

know any number in this hospital.

366

:

I have no idea what to do There's this blind panic of reaching around and grabbing at

things hoping there's a number somewhere.

367

:

So

368

:

I'll give you a call if he doesn't show up.

369

:

Can you does this number get texts?

370

:

Uh, yeah.

371

:

yeah!

372

:

I believe it does.

373

:

Um, I can send you a text if he gets here, and then- Ooh.

374

:

You can- you can-

375

:

Excellent.

376

:

Text-cellent.

377

:

You can make sure to be here.

378

:

I really appreciate all your help.

379

:

What was your name again?

380

:

uh Thank you.

381

:

You're being really understanding.

382

:

I appreciate your help.

383

:

Thank you.

384

:

I try.

385

:

I'll look forward to that text.

386

:

That was on speakerphone, right?

387

:

Yeah, I definitely was on speakerphone.

388

:

Everything's on speakerphone unless I tell you to take your headphones.

389

:

Yeah, yeah, that was interesting.

390

:

This manifesto seems like we want that, right?

391

:

Yeah, I think that'd be quite helpful in figuring this out.

392

:

Quite Oedipal, right?

393

:

For me, he's

394

:

half crazy and he's half right on account of we're the ones he's paranoid about.

395

:

He's been thinking we've been coming for a while but we are coming now.

396

:

We are stalking him,

397

:

You know what?

398

:

I mean, we are stalking him, but I'm, you know, she said he thinks that there are people

sent to kill him and that's been going on since longer than we've been looking for him.

399

:

And she gave him to hang on to this in case they get him.

400

:

I'm not sure we're the they he's worried about.

401

:

I think the worry is to him we are now,

402

:

mean, if he knows about us.

403

:

I mean, anybody that rolls up and starts asking questions and he gets a, you know, an

untoward feeling, I think they're all gonna be they.

404

:

Hmm, yeah.

405

:

Yeah, it seems almost if we could find him, maybe I could dress up like a homeless person

and pretend like I'm also crazy.

406

:

I mean, you could also meet with- she said to approach him in your plain clothes, but the

homeless thing is interesting too, so.

407

:

Thank you.

408

:

That's super fucked up.

409

:

That's gonna go down so bad.

410

:

Do we know what cell he was in?

411

:

Did Madison ever tell us that?

412

:

No,

413

:

Morrison, do you think the approach should be?

414

:

I'm getting anxious here.

415

:

You know, um, his appointment's not until 3.30 tomorrow.

416

:

We know where his house is.

417

:

think it's today.

418

:

think it's think it's today and he has another appointment with Andrew Adler before.

419

:

Okay, well then let's get to the clinic um and just hang out and wait and see if he shows

up.

420

:

Is there any interest in splitting us in half?

421

:

Like perhaps we drop two people off at a clinic and maybe while we know nobody's at the

old residence then two people go knocking on doors.

422

:

I mean, unfortunately, this is probably the best time to get to his house, so...

423

:

I mean, I would...

424

:

I'm best used at the house.

425

:

Like, I'm just gonna be sifting through stuff and testing materials.

426

:

That's...

427

:

So I...

428

:

I'd go to the house.

429

:

I think Dr.

430

:

Kramer and I hit it off, so I'd like to meet her in person.

431

:

Yeah, she might be a little confused about how you traveled three hours in just two, but

we'll see.

432

:

eh I'd be glad to accompany you your house if you like.

433

:

But it's up to you, Morrison.

434

:

No.

435

:

No, I think you need to know yourself and what you're good at.

436

:

And if that's what your skills are telling you, that's what the thing's going to be.

437

:

So am I hearing this?

438

:

That you're just going to drop Mull off at the uh therapist and then go bust into his

house?

439

:

and Morrison is going, okay, okay, okay.

440

:

Yeah, it's not an actual...

441

:

Let me go and I could just figure stuff out

442

:

a 3-1 split is wild.

443

:

We'd surely never catch you again.

444

:

There'd be two people on a run,

445

:

Me and Roger Douglas would take off together.

446

:

Hey, man, I think you're right about some of that stuff you said in the-

447

:

You are totally right.

448

:

There are people trying to kill us both now.

449

:

Here are the ones we got.

450

:

Yeah.

451

:

I love you.

452

:

Yeah, you guys drive for another half hour.

453

:

Your gas tank is getting low.

454

:

There's a, ah are there any super popular local franchise gas stations?

455

:

Like a Bucky's or whatever from the Midwest?

456

:

No, nothing.

457

:

Cool like that.

458

:

No, I mean, I suppose up at the top at the summit at Snoqualmie, kind of at the ski lodge

is probably where they try to get you.

459

:

And, you know, we'd probably stop for a hot chocolate or something good like that.

460

:

She said there's a ski lodge on I-90?

461

:

Snoqualmie Pass.

462

:

Yeah, you go over to the Cascade Mountains like that, up through the summit of Snoqualmie.

463

:

One of the most beautiful drives you'll ever take.

464

:

On the way over- You probably wouldn't be navigating it in January in a minivan neither,

but here we are.

465

:

Yes sir.

466

:

got a chain-up area in every ten.

467

:

Alright, yeah, yeah, you guys stop at...

468

:

Say it again?

469

:

Snowqualmy.

470

:

That's where the intro to Twin Peaks was filmed.

471

:

Alright, yeah, guys pull over at Snoqualmie Summit to get gas and hot chocolate.

472

:

Yeah, Miles wouldn't drink sugar, so he would grab a energy drink with zero calories.

473

:

Yeah.

474

:

Maltz Fish are getting an energy drink.

475

:

What time?

476

:

Is it, it's not five o'clock.

477

:

He's getting an energy drink.

478

:

He's getting a nausea because those rule.

479

:

Okay, well I 100 % was ready to pay for everyone's hot chocolate on account I thought

that's what we were here doing but you guys go for energy drinks and I'm not paying for

480

:

that shite.

481

:

No, I'm with you on the hot chocolate.

482

:

I'll pick it up.

483

:

That's right Morrison.

484

:

Two hot chocolates.

485

:

Ninety dollars of gas because the minivan is a wretch.

486

:

And, uh, yeah.

487

:

Back on the road.

488

:

No, no, no real troubles.

489

:

The cashier laughs when you have your argument about hot chocolate V energy drinks.

490

:

You guys know there's no energy in those, right?

491

:

It's just caffeine.

492

:

It just makes you feel like you have energy.

493

:

Yeah, that's fine and all of reality is subjective so I have energy.

494

:

Yeah, agreed completely.

495

:

The point he's making is it was in you all along and you just didn't see it and you needed

that kind of tell you so what does that say about you?

496

:

So are you saying that you have hot chocolate in you right now?

497

:

Excuse me, prior to you drinking the hot chocolate?

498

:

No, that's why I needed the hot chocolate.

499

:

No hot chocolate comes standard in this model.

500

:

But energy drinks do.

501

:

I find a flaw in all of your reasoning.

502

:

It's like Morrison was saying, doesn't actually do anything, you just think you have more

energy, it's not like there's actual energy in the can.

503

:

Can we actually say anything does anything, gentlemen?

504

:

Alright.

505

:

Shut up.

506

:

I'll see you back in the car.

507

:

That's hurtful.

508

:

Is this the kind of place where you could buy like is it the kind of gas station where you

could buy beer and stuff and take it back to your

509

:

Yeah, people are drinking in the park and-

510

:

Yeah, there's like, it's raucous.

511

:

It's the uh day before New Year's Eve, think.

512

:

And people are buying beer, it's festive.

513

:

Yeah, it's nice.

514

:

It's a nice vibe.

515

:

People are cheerful when you leave.

516

:

Do you guys have a New Year's Eve kiss picked out?

517

:

Anyone?

518

:

Little chocolate kiss for the hot chocolate guys, for the hot chocolate boys.

519

:

Cheers.

520

:

I slammed my energy drink aggressively.

521

:

You

522

:

Yeah.

523

:

I'm just sipping delicately, I imagine all I hear is...

524

:

The mole's making a show of it.

525

:

Yeah.

526

:

Yeah, you just knock that ship back.

527

:

You guys are back on the road.

528

:

Driving towards Chelan.

529

:

Yeah, so Magpie, ah we want to drop them at the hospital or do you want them to drop us at

the house?

530

:

I don't care either way.

531

:

eh I guess I suppose, We probably want a little bit more flexibility at the residence, but

I don't care too much one way or the other.

532

:

While you guys are having this conversation, sirens and police lights interrupt you.

533

:

Going the opposite direction as you.

534

:

Two squad cars.

535

:

heading west on I-90 through La Paz.

536

:

Do we have uh a radio or anything where we could pick up law enforcement frequencies

perhaps?

537

:

Uh, most modern cell phones can scan police frequencies.

538

:

Could someone jailbreak my phone to look at this?

539

:

Yeah, hand it over.

540

:

Okay, ah yeah, uh, what's your computer science miles?

541

:

It is 60.

542

:

You already have a police scanner app on your phone.

543

:

Sure.

544

:

Yeah, you tap it open and you pop in a headphone and well, no, you listen to it on

speaker.

545

:

assume.

546

:

Yeah.

547

:

Hell yeah.

548

:

And yeah, there are reports of a stabbing at the...

549

:

Shit, what is this place called?

550

:

Snowqualmie Pass...

551

:

Gas station?

552

:

Chalet?

553

:

Lodge?

554

:

It's Snow Kwame Pass, Gas, or Ass.

555

:

Nobody rides for free.

556

:

That's the investigation.

557

:

uh there has been a fatal stabbing at the Snow Quamly Pass, Ass, Grass, or Cash.

558

:

Nobody rides for free.

559

:

uh Shots fired.

560

:

uh The suspect is uh dead on the scene.

561

:

They're trying to figure out what happened now.

562

:

There's three dead, one wounded.

563

:

They're calling for an ambulance.

564

:

I'm turning around, I'm back up in this case unless somebody else tells me otherwise.

565

:

Go for it.

566

:

We're in the area, let's check it out.

567

:

can speed to get over I take an ICU turn.

568

:

Inadvised, we're heading right back.

569

:

That's an icy U-turn.

570

:

Well, it's like a U-turn, but when there's ice on the road.

571

:

You

572

:

Crash the car.

573

:

Alright, so you take your ICU turn.

574

:

Yeah, you were five minutes away.

575

:

You drive back and lights.

576

:

There's uh a guy out there trying to herd uh like screaming like college age kids away and

like calm them down.

577

:

There's an ambulance has just gotten there from the headed from the they're putting up

tape.

578

:

It seems as though the stabbing happened inside the...

579

:

...quamly pass, gas, ass, or cash, nobody writes for free.

580

:

There you go.

581

:

It's perfect.

582

:

Okay, so uh we got a stabbing, three dead, shots fired, and the perimeter is being

established.

583

:

Yes.

584

:

Does it, can we tell, does it look like that the perimeter, is it the type of perimeter

being established like they think there is an active shooting event going on or is it the

585

:

type of perimeter that it's like this is a, this is like we're gonna do a crime scene and

then victims.

586

:

Classic.

587

:

Miles is gonna look around and see if he can see a pickup truck that he recognizes from

when the one that, hit and run earlier.

588

:

Yeah, roll power for me, will ya?

589

:

Oh shit.

590

:

Let's you know you're just doing normal human civilian things.

591

:

Yeah, for sure.

592

:

under 70.

593

:

Yeah, no, you're good.

594

:

No, you don't see a...

595

:

I believe it was a white Ford F-150 and you do not see it.

596

:

Do you mention that you are looking for it out loud?

597

:

Guys, I was looking for the F-150.

598

:

You don't have to, I'm asking.

599

:

I would say, do you guys see the truck that hit that guy?

600

:

Because this is really strange.

601

:

would love a power check from everyone.

602

:

I noticed an absence of a specific car I've once before.

603

:

18 on power, all good here.

604

:

73 on 75, so all good.

605

:

93 on F40.

606

:

Yeah, okay.

607

:

I'm gonna...

608

:

Can I get everyone except for Mul to take their headphones off real quick?

609

:

Yeah.

610

:

Yeah, uh Mul, I got a choice for you here.

611

:

Would you like to lose one willpower or begin to forget the details of the hit and run

scene?

612

:

Okay, let's balance this out, player versus...

613

:

Uhhh...

614

:

Is your-

615

:

You can take a tactical choice on this if you would like

616

:

Okay, so this is more directed at player than it is at character.

617

:

These are both very important for you.

618

:

I think to not be shitty, unfortunately, I would prefer to forget a little bit and not

take the willpower.

619

:

As a player, I would have 100 % just taken the willpower hit, but unfortunately I have all

of eight willpowers.

620

:

Yeah, I think you I I think I would make the same choice.

621

:

Yeah, can you tell me what your paper notes say about the hit and run?

622

:

Yes, I can.

623

:

Truly minimal.

624

:

Just that we...

625

:

There was a hit and run.

626

:

and I tried to...

627

:

That's right.

628

:

And I tried to just call an ambulance and walk away.

629

:

That's literally what I have written down.

630

:

You don't have his name or the make and model of the car?

631

:

piece of kind as to erase the making model.

632

:

I'm looking for the truck, so I don't know.

633

:

I think

634

:

uh You do not see a white Ford F-150 in this parking lot.

635

:

Do any of you guys see uh anyone that looks like Roger?

636

:

give me alertness.

637

:

Or search.

638

:

Take your pick.

639

:

I don't care.

640

:

Is this an everybody or just Morrison?

641

:

Anybody?

642

:

I assume you're all- he says that and everybody looks.

643

:

Sure, Shane.

644

:

Assumption.

645

:

I pass.

646

:

16, search?

647

:

Yep, search.

648

:

Search.

649

:

or alert 97 fail okay six on a search okay

650

:

Alright, uh, the two searchers, you, uh, are able to tell for certain that there is no

Roger Douglas in the crowd or, uh, among the cops.

651

:

uh and the victims.

652

:

The victims are covered.

653

:

Hmm.

654

:

Alright.

655

:

That's a thing they do, right?

656

:

yeah, for sure.

657

:

People there, yeah, but if not...

658

:

a lot of people here.

659

:

Um, does anybody feel as though they have position of authority walking up to that tape

there?

660

:

You do have that bulletproof vest.

661

:

Yeah, I was thinking about that.

662

:

I do have, again, a background in law, you could say.

663

:

And would you like me to approach?

664

:

Sure.

665

:

I think I take the bulletproof vest if that's okay.

666

:

I think actually, Mole's probably just like, the minute you bring that up, Mole's probably

gonna grab the vest and start walking.

667

:

You have it.

668

:

I think Magpie is perhaps gonna pull on a change of clothes real quick.

669

:

Say just like a snow jacket and snow pants and try and look like one of the tubers that's

just kinda come off the hill and see if he can't get an eyeful eh of what the current

670

:

situation looks like as well.

671

:

Yeah, you have no extra points in disguise, correct?

672

:

you have any extra points in stealth?

673

:

eh

674

:

would it help if I lied and said that I did?

675

:

Yeah, probably.

676

:

Ooh.

677

:

all right.

678

:

Give me luck.

679

:

No, I don't.

680

:

haven't any.

681

:

41?

682

:

It's pretty lucky.

683

:

But that's, yeah, great.

684

:

Yeah, you do have in the back.

685

:

Yeah, you got a puffy jacket.

686

:

You don't have snow pants, but you don't think anyone's looking that close.

687

:

But that's alright, you know the cool guys always wear jeans up there.

688

:

They do, they do.

689

:

You soak the hem of the hem at bottom, you look cool doing it.

690

:

Sad by the end, but at the beginning is pretty tough.

691

:

Yeah, pretty tough.

692

:

Alright, so you're out there.

693

:

You're in a crowd of frightened young adults.

694

:

How old is Magpie?

695

:

Yeah, alright, sure, whatever.

696

:

Early 30s.

697

:

Yeah.

698

:

Yeah, I think I'm just trying to get any sort of eyewitness account, any sort of idea of

who was involved and what happened before and after the police arrived.

699

:

Yeah, absolutely.

700

:

The...

701

:

you can either...

702

:

Yeah, okay, we'll cut back to you.

703

:

You absolutely are able to hear uh disjointed accounts of somebody saw something, somebody

saw a woman pull out a knife and uh reach across the counter.

704

:

uh Somebody else says that no, it was a dude.

705

:

Maybe it was a fight.

706

:

It's a little hard to tell what actually happened.

707

:

um What people do agree on is that the...

708

:

at least one woman is dead inside.

709

:

And that at least the...

710

:

guy behind the cash register got hurt really badly.

711

:

They don't know if he's dead or not.

712

:

And at least one other man they saw get stabbed in...

713

:

the stomach, regardless of what that means.

714

:

Yeah.

715

:

Well, and so if I had to, you know, kind of keep the rumour mill alive and inquiry a

little bit, does it seem like the woman is the one who was shot?

716

:

Or is there a third person somewhere who was shot?

717

:

Yeah, no, you...

718

:

Somebody saw her head snap back, uh, right when the cops got there.

719

:

Yeah, that's not a good sign, usually.

720

:

Okay.

721

:

How secure does this perimeter seem?

722

:

eh Like, how close are the milling crowds to the bodies?

723

:

Pretty close, there are a grand total of four cops here and two EMTs.

724

:

And uh two of the cops are busy helping the EMTs.

725

:

And do you think I could go over and offer my services as a third EMT to tend to uh just

anybody what needs help if perhaps they need a third set of hands for a third buddy?

726

:

Tell me out loud what you're going to tell these people.

727

:

Yeah, it's kind of, it's not so different from, is there a doctor on the flight?

728

:

Is there a doctor on the flight?

729

:

Is women's given birth?

730

:

Right, right, right.

731

:

Well, I've kind of just showed up and I've just suggested like, hey, I'm just here on a

holiday, but like, obviously, being trained in the medical profession, helping is more

732

:

important than anything.

733

:

And if there's simply anything that can be done to help these folks, you point me in that

direction, you're here.

734

:

you tell them you're an EMT.

735

:

Uh, yeah, I mean, I tell them I have a medical certification.

736

:

will persuade.

737

:

uh 10 flat yeah that's

738

:

Yeah, they're like, yeah, I think we have everything under control.

739

:

um If you want to keep an eye on the guy in the back of the truck, um we'd appreciate it.

740

:

ah We need to ah we need to wrap up these folks on the ground here.

741

:

Well sure, I'd be glad to help in any way I can.

742

:

Is there anything I should know about this?

743

:

Yeah, he's uh bleeding really badly from a cut uh just above his left elbow on the inside

of his arm.

744

:

Make sure he hasn't taken his pressure bandage off.

745

:

He's probably going to be okay.

746

:

We've got him on a drip.

747

:

um He's lost a lot of blood, but he's going to be okay.

748

:

We're going to take him to the hospital.

749

:

m Just make sure he doesn't like get up or take his bandage off.

750

:

Yeah, alright.

751

:

I'll go and see if I can find an emergency response vehicle fitted with somebody who

matches that description.

752

:

yeah, there's some kid in the back of this ambulance.

753

:

uh He's sitting on one of the stretchers.

754

:

And yeah, a general sense of how uh righted he looks, right?

755

:

Just like if I saw him on the street, would I think of him as a normal put together person

or would he stick out?

756

:

Perhaps.

757

:

Yeah, all right.

758

:

And or my Humid is 40.

759

:

Yeah, 89.

760

:

Okay, it's a kid.

761

:

What a kid's 19 dress like these days normally, who fucking knows.

762

:

Okay, I suppose I'll sit down and I'll just start asking some regular signs about vitals

and how he's feeling and if he's dizzy and if he should lie back and if he more water and

763

:

so

764

:

For sure, for sure.

765

:

You have a bunch of medicine and or first aid, right?

766

:

Yeah, aid is crazy, but there's some other things.

767

:

uh This kid is in shock.

768

:

He has clearly he's being affected by blood loss ah He does have they cut his the sleeve

off of his puffy jacket to apply a pressure bandage um He's he keeps going on about that

769

:

actually about how they ruined his coat.

770

:

I think

771

:

think I'm gonna try and keep him in stream of consciousness, just as much as to keep him

conscious as anything else, but I kinda just wanna keep him talking, right?

772

:

That's a good sign that he's still here and he's still connecting with me.

773

:

And whatever I can eke out of him, I'm just gonna try and keep getting words about that

altercation coming out of his mouth.

774

:

Yeah man, I don't know why they cut my jacket up so much.

775

:

They didn't gotta do that.

776

:

I could have taken it off.

777

:

I...

778

:

I...

779

:

If this was my night and my mom got me this, I don't know what to...

780

:

What am I gonna tell my mom?

781

:

Oh, she's never gonna let me go again!

782

:

Fuck!

783

:

Shit, dude.

784

:

Yeah, I mean, how'd you get all tangled up in this in the first place?

785

:

You don't seem to be the preliminary offender.

786

:

We were-

787

:

we were gonna go skiing and I met some new friends at school and they were gonna buy some

beer.

788

:

I wasn't gonna have any beers.

789

:

I can't have any beers.

790

:

Thank you.

791

:

Right.

792

:

We never got the beers because there was a crazy lady with a knife and she...

793

:

Uhhhh uh

794

:

That's true, it's really not all on them, it?

795

:

Um, okay, this woman, what stopped your plans for today?

796

:

Can you tell me about her?

797

:

You set the scene for me, perhaps, you walk through those double doors, bering!

798

:

You're looking for beer, and...

799

:

what do see?

800

:

I don't know.

801

:

were laughing and having fun and uh we were in line for the register and ah this chick at

the front, like she...

802

:

I didn't really see what happened.

803

:

There wasn't any yelling or anything.

804

:

Like, you think if there's like a fight, somebody yells, but the yelling only happened

after the stabbing.

805

:

And I pushed forward to like see what was going on.

806

:

And then she got me.

807

:

Like with a, a, like a...

808

:

What do call those things?

809

:

It's like...

810

:

You use it to cut boxes and stuff.

811

:

Yeah, a knife.

812

:

yeah, no, I mean, that sounds terrible right off, properly.

813

:

But like if she was just going at the man at the counter and she didn't seem to have no

reason for it.

814

:

They weren't privy to no altercation that was going on before you arrived.

815

:

No.

816

:

No.

817

:

Also, I heard a gunshot.

818

:

Before or after the police ride?

819

:

That seems like something you should know, if I'm honest.

820

:

Before or you were bleeding?

821

:

after.

822

:

by a lot or a little.

823

:

Oh, I'm trying to get you better, man.

824

:

I understand you've not been through this before.

825

:

It's old hat to me.

826

:

I just need to keep you talking.

827

:

Yeah, we gotta keep you up.

828

:

If you're feeling dizzy at all or feeling like you gotta go to sleep, man, that's why I'm

here.

829

:

Yeah, I know you do.

830

:

That's why you're talking.

831

:

Keep it going.

832

:

Okay.

833

:

Alright.

834

:

Do you know where the rest of my sleeve is?

835

:

Um, honestly no, but I think we could probably get it reattached.

836

:

There are surgeons that do that now.

837

:

Yeah, but I imagine it's not beyond medical science to put that back together for you.

838

:

I think we're gonna pause this little vignette here.

839

:

What are the rest of you doing?

840

:

Was there anything else Magpie specifically wanted to get information about?

841

:

I mean, really, it's just the order of events, right?

842

:

Things that transpired before the police showed up is really what I'm interested in.

843

:

I understand a woman was the aggressor.

844

:

I don't understand why she was aggressor against that man or this man, but the intent eh

and any exchanged words, I suppose, is what I'm after.

845

:

Yeah, I think that is as good as you're gonna get.

846

:

Fair enough.

847

:

Yep.

848

:

You miles is just sitting in the car still kind of.

849

:

delightful okay yeah is mull putting on a police vest and going to try and uh break

through a cordon

850

:

Sure.

851

:

we're, I'm going to let Morrison, do you have anything you want to do before?

852

:

I'm debating whether or not I walk around to the back of the gas station and see if

there's like a delivery door that's open and I can walk in and pretend I was in the

853

:

storeroom and then just walk out into the middle of the gas station.

854

:

Okay, sweet.

855

:

I do that.

856

:

Yeah, actually.

857

:

It's pretty high.

858

:

It's-

859

:

it above a 60?

860

:

uh...

861

:

Yeah.

862

:

Yeah.

863

:

You...

864

:

There is chaos afoot.

865

:

You don't have to roll for this.

866

:

Sweet.

867

:

You...

868

:

You go around the back.

869

:

There's...

870

:

You know the, like, the bathrooms?

871

:

Where the...

872

:

Where the gas station bathrooms normally would be?

873

:

Next to that, there is an employee entrance so that the employees can get out there?

874

:

Yeah, okay.

875

:

Yeah, I kind of open the door.

876

:

Do I see anything?

877

:

Like peek my head in?

878

:

Uh, it's the back rooms of a gas station.

879

:

There's a little office and like a, there's an open closet with a mop in it.

880

:

Mm-mm.

881

:

Yeah, I'm gonna grab the mop and the mop bucket.

882

:

Is there like a radio or anything in there?

883

:

for like music?

884

:

sure.

885

:

Okay.

886

:

I turn it up as though I was listening to it and then I just kind of push the door open

with the mop out to the middle of the place as though I'm just gonna start mopping.

887

:

Yeah, a cop starts yelling at you.

888

:

Whoa, whoa.

889

:

Hey, you can't- what the fuck are you doing, man?

890

:

You can't be in here.

891

:

I was Did you not hear?

892

:

Dude.

893

:

What?

894

:

No, get over here.

895

:

What?

896

:

You gotta be outside.

897

:

Oh, okay.

898

:

I mean, can I help?

899

:

Can I help?

900

:

I work here.

901

:

Can I-

902

:

Leave!

903

:

This is a crime scene, dude!

904

:

Okay, well I've got to grab my keys from the back office.

905

:

Can I go do that?

906

:

Get out of here!

907

:

You can come in when we're done.

908

:

Okay.

909

:

Don't do that.

910

:

Fair enough.

911

:

I just drop the mop right where is and leave it and walk out.

912

:

Okay, sorry.

913

:

No, that's fine.

914

:

Did I- do I see anything?

915

:

can I like look at the bodies or anything while I'm in there?

916

:

Sure, absolutely.

917

:

You...

918

:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, actually.

919

:

um You recognize the young man who served you your hot chocolate.

920

:

Earlier, he has a slashed throat.

921

:

I'd like a sand check on that.

922

:

You see a...

923

:

They've got the sheets back.

924

:

They are in the process of moving the bodies, which is possibly why this cop was...

925

:

mad.

926

:

there's a young woman uh with bruising on her cheek and a bullet hole under her left eye.

927

:

And there is a second young man a little older than the first.

928

:

uh It's hard to tell from where the sheet is what is wrong with him, but he is clearly

dead and uh from lost a lot of blood.

929

:

Did you do your sand?

930

:

did, and I failed.

931

:

84 on not 84.

932

:

uh What what's the sand loss on seeing a bunch of dead kids all of a sudden we got a

933

:

don't know offhand.

934

:

zero for me.

935

:

yeah, think I think it's like this deep.

936

:

you give me a D6 and Oh, I think it's we're gonna do a D4.

937

:

There you go.

938

:

Unless you want to fight a fight.

939

:

three.

940

:

ah

941

:

Okay.

942

:

Yeah, what, uh, how you feeling about that?

943

:

You know, I think about all of the, you know, the trainees that I've had, the athletes

that I like train.

944

:

I'm like, man, that could have been some of my kids.

945

:

Like, shit, what the hell?

946

:

That guy gave me this hot chocolate, man.

947

:

Like what?

948

:

And now he's dead?

949

:

It just, he was there and now he's not.

950

:

Yeah, I kind of wanted to try and do something, but if I lose sand, I probably can't.

951

:

No, you can do stuff.

952

:

You are not uh fighting, flighting, or freezing.

953

:

ah

954

:

I kind of want to like no, I don't know.

955

:

I don't know what I would get from it I was gonna try to like freak out and be like no my

co-workers and then see if I could

956

:

have that instinct and maybe feel like that's a little gauche.

957

:

Yeah.

958

:

Yeah, so I just kind of you know have my head down Yeah, you realize real quick.

959

:

You don't know the name to cry for

960

:

Hot chocolate and your...

961

:

...light like Mickey.

962

:

Sir, this man is named Dan.

963

:

Yeah, we called him Mickey though.

964

:

I know that because I work with-

965

:

He loved his Mickey's.

966

:

He died how he lived, serving Mickey's.

967

:

So, Mole, what are you wearing under this Kevlar vest?

968

:

uh Canonically, wears an extremely expensive custom suit with no tie.

969

:

So...

970

:

That, under, with a vest on top.

971

:

I think he wants to roll up to where the police are.

972

:

So, is there, there, how many, you said there are four, is there four cops, is that right?

973

:

Are any outside that he could easily approach?

974

:

Okay, I think he'd probably approach whoever it is and hold out a hand and say, um...

975

:

Hey, Agent Mole with FBI.

976

:

Bye.

977

:

And then...

978

:

I'm gonna roll some dice super quick.

979

:

Hell yeah.

980

:

Quack.

981

:

It's time to get mold.

982

:

Wow.

983

:

Alright, these cops, they are busy doing cop stuff.

984

:

There's dead kids.

985

:

They're not happy.

986

:

They're like, Oh, FBI.

987

:

Whoa, what's, why are you here?

988

:

Yeah, hopefully unrelated case, we've been searching for somebody.

989

:

I'm a little concerned that it may be related.

990

:

Wanted to understand what happened here.

991

:

If it's not, happy to leave.

992

:

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here.

993

:

know how local law enforcement, you know, we don't like us suits.

994

:

I get it.

995

:

Totally.

996

:

Yeah, some young woman uh just went nuts, started, whipped out a box cutter, started

stabbing.

997

:

uh We managed to get on the scene.

998

:

ah She was violent, um tried to take Henderson's gun from him, um and he shot her.

999

:

Yeah, what are, what, who are you looking for?

:

00:54:39,892 --> 00:54:42,686

You know, I don't think it's anything related.

:

00:54:42,686 --> 00:54:44,468

Did you get an ID?

:

00:54:44,468 --> 00:54:49,095

The only reason I ask is we're not sure if the person we're looking for is working with

anybody else.

:

00:54:49,095 --> 00:54:51,642

Did you happen to get an ID on who the per-

:

00:54:51,642 --> 00:54:52,413

is on the girl?

:

00:54:52,413 --> 00:54:56,708

Yeah, she's Amanda Reynolds.

:

00:54:56,708 --> 00:54:59,371

a college dropout from Seattle.

:

00:54:59,371 --> 00:55:02,394

We've notified her parents they're on their way.

:

00:55:02,446 --> 00:55:09,229

I guess really the only thing, anything on Amanda Reynolds that sticks out, if not, you

know, we're happy to kind of leave you guys be.

:

00:55:09,229 --> 00:55:11,983

I don't want to cause any problems here.

:

00:55:12,045 --> 00:55:14,806

in your rest history or anything.

:

00:55:14,806 --> 00:55:18,722

She's got some weed, but everyone's got some weed.

:

00:55:20,300 --> 00:55:21,430

You holding?

:

00:55:21,711 --> 00:55:22,781

Yeah, just kidding.

:

00:55:22,781 --> 00:55:25,913

What are you, a Brother!

:

00:55:25,913 --> 00:55:28,070

Oh, okay, I see.

:

00:55:28,070 --> 00:55:31,416

It seems that probably unrelated.

:

00:55:32,076 --> 00:55:35,918

In the victims, nothing crazy about them either.

:

00:55:36,198 --> 00:55:50,115

No, just some kid who worked here and then from oh what we can get from the witnesses,

someone behind her in line that tried to stop her, tried to hold her, but she oh stabbed

:

00:55:50,115 --> 00:55:52,538

him like a bunch of times in the gut.

:

00:55:52,538 --> 00:55:53,272

Got it.

:

00:55:53,272 --> 00:55:53,623

got it.

:

00:55:53,623 --> 00:55:56,409

Um, can I be of any assistance to you guys?

:

00:55:56,409 --> 00:55:58,973

Happy to provide anything I can do.

:

00:55:59,522 --> 00:56:03,965

Well, I mean, if you can get these kids to leave?

:

00:56:04,722 --> 00:56:05,517

That would be...

:

00:56:05,517 --> 00:56:06,988

Well, no, actually don't do that.

:

00:56:06,988 --> 00:56:08,659

We gotta get more witness statements.

:

00:56:08,659 --> 00:56:11,671

No, man, just like hang tight.

:

00:56:11,792 --> 00:56:14,678

If you're willing to stay, we could totally use your help.

:

00:56:14,678 --> 00:56:17,296

I just can't think of it right off the top of my head.

:

00:56:17,296 --> 00:56:20,468

Oh, bye.

:

00:56:21,845 --> 00:56:25,628

He thinks about pulling his gun out and shooting in the air to get the kids to disperse.

:

00:56:25,628 --> 00:56:27,449

And then he's like, no.

:

00:56:27,449 --> 00:56:29,080

He's like, oh, excellent.

:

00:56:29,080 --> 00:56:30,712

I, yeah, that sounds good.

:

00:56:30,712 --> 00:56:34,064

If you need anything, you know, I'm not going to, don't call me.

:

00:56:34,064 --> 00:56:35,045

I don't care anymore.

:

00:56:35,045 --> 00:56:35,785

I'm going to walk away.

:

00:56:35,785 --> 00:56:39,528

It was, I appreciate everything that you helped me with there officer.

:

00:56:39,650 --> 00:56:45,958

I that Moll just has like CEO talk in his brain a hundred percent of time, right?

:

00:56:45,958 --> 00:56:50,264

So real quick, he's like, oh yeah, we're going to fast track this one.

:

00:56:50,264 --> 00:56:55,550

then it falls apart on that.

:

00:56:56,904 --> 00:57:00,984

If we can't synergize then I'll probably have to immediately

:

00:57:00,984 --> 00:57:04,006

I really thank you guys for opening the kimono on this one.

:

00:57:04,770 --> 00:57:05,230

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

:

00:57:05,230 --> 00:57:09,912

Let's, you know, we're gonna have to take this offline, but we'll circle back.

:

00:57:11,113 --> 00:57:21,978

Yeah, so both those cops rolled an 88 and a 99 to notice that you are wearing a Seattle PD

vest with bullets in it.

:

00:57:24,522 --> 00:57:29,350

Also, like an FBI uniform underneath.

:

00:57:29,350 --> 00:57:33,916

if I'm honest, the Snoqualmie casino is just that way and we're doing pretty good.

:

00:57:33,916 --> 00:57:36,813

We could make a pit stop no time at all.

:

00:57:37,038 --> 00:57:38,681

Happy to do shots with you boys.

:

00:57:38,681 --> 00:57:39,862

Let me know.

:

00:57:40,398 --> 00:57:41,416

I love that.

:

00:57:41,416 --> 00:57:45,473

That's mole's power, I think, is that he just makes other people critically fail.

:

00:57:46,095 --> 00:57:48,864

I was really surprised and was like, okay.

:

00:57:48,864 --> 00:57:50,007

Yeah, let's go rock and roll.

:

00:57:50,007 --> 00:57:51,632

These guys will give you whatever you want.

:

00:57:51,632 --> 00:57:52,653

Fine.

:

00:57:52,664 --> 00:57:53,156

Cool.

:

00:57:53,156 --> 00:57:56,324

Yeah, I think he walks away and he's like under his breath.

:

00:57:56,324 --> 00:57:58,699

He's like, sharked another one.
