Anytime that Lakers and Cass City meet, it is bound to be a close game; such was the case on Friday, February 16 with the Red Hawks hanging onto a 40-37 road victory. Cass City now enters the final week of the regular season at 18-1 with three home games in five days.
Cass City's Carter Patrick led all scorers with 13 points with all but one point coming in the second half. Lakers, who were without Layton Krohn for the fourth game in a row, were paced by Caden Carriveau's 10 points. The loss for Lakers was their first since January, snapping a six-game win streak.
