112. Sad and Glad
Tuesday - April 7, 2026
Dan's feeling under the weather, but still riding high from Easter. He introduces the idea of "bittersweet" — holding sadness and joy at the same time — and connects it to the story of Jesus weeping at the tomb of his friend Lazarus, even though he was about to bring him back to life.
Discussion Question(s)
• Can you think of something that has happened to you or someone you know that is bittersweet?
Prayer
Dear God, we thank you for the good news of Easter. At the same time, there are still things in this life that are hard to carry. Help us remember that we can be both sad and joyful at the same time - just as you were with your friend Lazarus. Amen.
