Guy and Sarah Stein are based in Sydney, Australia along with their young and growing family.

Guy is a bi-vocational pastor, minister, and healing evangelist, while Sarah is a talented artist and registered nurse. Together, they serve as Senior Pastors at C3 Church Prospect, where they delight in seeing God's transformative work in the lives of His people.

With a passion for glorifying God and building His Kingdom, Guy also manages a building and investment company and teaches Scripture in schools under C3 Australia. Sarah is pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) at UNSW, further enriching her established career as an artist.

Having been part of the C3 Church Global Movement for over sixteen years, Guy and Sarah completed their Advanced Diploma in Theology and Leadership and are currently working towards their Bachelor of Theology. They have cherished experiences serving in various church roles, including itinerant ministry, where they have witnessed over 400 people dedicate their lives to Christ and experience healing miracles since 2020.

Welcome to 12 Minute Converse with Jesus Believers.

God chose first to have a conversation with us, His creation. Our prayer is that this listening

space brings growth and transforms your life forever. Praise God for you, Pastor Steve.

It's a great pleasure to connect with you today. How are you doing? Yeah, doing well, Angel. Things

have been really, really busy, but really, really good. A lot of good fruit. The Lord has really

blessed us with a lot of great things happening, so we feel very grateful. For those listening,

what part of the world are you in? We're in Sydney, Australia here.

Where did the understanding that ministry should be based in love come from?

God gives us these Godwinks as we continue to go through life and, you know, ultimately,

I've seen that throughout my whole life that God has actually never left me. You know,

He's never left my side. He's always been with me. He's always been for me. He's always been

fighting for me and lifting me up. You know, I guess, how did I first see that, you know,

within ministry? Well, I mean, it really comes down to my testimony, in a sense. You know,

sometimes you've got to walk through things to help other people walk through things. And,

I mean, in a nutshell, you know, the Bible says in Revelation 12, 11, we

beat the enemy by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.

You know, we beat the enemy by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. In short,

my testimony is really how I got into ministry in the first place. I didn't grow up in a Christian

home. It was a very, you know, violent and abusive, a lot of court cases, a lot of police visits. It

wasn't a great family upbringing, but I always knew that I had a Father in heaven who loved me.

And that's one thing I did know. I always knew I had a Father in heaven, Father God, who loved me

and was with me. And because of that family dynamics, I always wanted to have a family myself.

You know, I've had children, a beautiful wife, and that was always the desire of my heart. And,

you know, going through childhood and high school, basically, I got to year seven,

a high school scripture class, and accepted Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and Savior. I've

still got a little Bible that says the 5th of December, 1995, I, Guy Steen, declare that Jesus

Christ is my Lord and Savior. Anyway, so life continues to go on and challenges happen. You

know, like Rocky Balboa's late beginning of the world, ain't no rainbows and sunshine. It's a

very mean and nasty place. It'll beat you down to the ground and keep you there permanently if you

let it. Now, you, me, or anyone is going to be able to hit as hard as life, but ain't about how

hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and

keep moving forward, because that's how winning is done. If you know what you're worth, you've

got to go out and get what you're worth, but you've got to be willing to take the hits and not

be pointing fingers at anybody saying you ain't where you want to be because of him or her or

anyone. Cowards do that, and that ain't you. You're better than that. Life throws challenges,

life throws curveballs, but God never leaves us. I was born again in my Christian walk, living the

best way that I could for the Lord, but I wasn't baptized in the Holy Spirit and I wasn't water

baptized. And when you're born again and you're not water baptized and you're not baptized in

the Holy Spirit, you're sort of walking around with a target on your side for the enemy just

to hit you hard. I had a life debilitating illness, had a significant amount of white matter

brain lesions, holes in the brain, MRIs. They showed holes in the brain with I was having

blackouts, bleeding noses, blurred vision. I mean, really, really, really bad symptoms. When I'm

talking about bleeding noses, I'm talking about gushing out blood and I wasn't able to work. I

had to quit my job. I wasn't able to go to the gym. I had to sleep 17 to 18 hours a day. I had to quit

my job and basically chronic fatigue like symptoms. One of the neurologists who I saw

probably had a bad day, but basically, you're going to go into a vegetative state. You don't

have that many years left and you're just going to have to manage it on medication the best way

that you can, in a sense. And what he said was, and then I said to him, I want to get married.

I want to get married and have children. I want to have a family. He goes, don't get married.

Don't get married. Your wife's going to be looking after you like a vegetable.

Anyway, now what he said was harsh, but, and he probably had a bad day, God bless him.

But I'm glad he said what he said, because it switched on something inside of me. It switched

on faith. It switched on, okay, medical professionals, God bless the medical professionals.

We need medical professionals. But in this instance, I wasn't going to get much hope about

getting better from medical professionals. So I had to go after Jesus. I had to go after Jesus.

Every cell, every membrane, every tendon, every bone, every fiber, every ounce after Jesus,

heart to heart, fixating my eyes on Jesus, laser beam vision on Jesus. And that's what I did.

And I just went after the healing power of the Lord Jesus. And not long after that,

I was invited to a Pentecostal church, C3 church, part of the C3 church global movement and

learned about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, learned about water baptism, learned about healing.

And long story cut short, basically my life turned around. I got baptized in the Holy Spirit. I got

water baptized. And I learned about the healing power of Jesus. And I learned about the scriptures

and learned about under anointed healing teachings. But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was

bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon him. And by his stripes

we are healed. 1 Peter 2 24 says, who himself bore our sins in his own body in the tree.

So we may die the sins and live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed.

I went after Jesus with my whole heart. Everything of me had to go after Jesus.

And there was a moment where I remember leaving a conference and I was still sick at the time.

And I remember saying to the Lord, Lord, even if I don't get healed, even if it doesn't happen,

if everything was stripped away from me, I'm begging for food in the street. As long as I

have you, that's okay. I'm okay with that. It's all I need. You're all I need. You're the pearl

in the field. You're the treasure. And not long after that, as I was really pursuing into the

Lord, by that time I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and I was water baptized and praying daily

and I was in the word. And the way that I would go to church was I'd go to church on a Sunday

evening and then I'd have to go on bed rest for four days because it would just take it out of

me. And then I'd have to, then I would be able to go to a Thursday night Bible study and then be on

bed rest for the two days and then back to church on a Sunday night. So I was in church, but I was

like, it took, it drained the, my body just wasn't up to it. I was, my body was not in a good state

anyway, but God had other plans for me. I tell you what God had other plans for me. And one night I

was in my prayer spot and this was about 14, 15 years ago now. And I was just spending time with

the Lord, washing his feet with my tears, wiping his feet with my hair, anointing with expensive

perfume, just loving him and letting him love me. And he said, I just felt the scriptures come into

my heart. For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not

to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me,

I'll listen to you. You will seek me and you will find me when you seek me with all your heart.

There you will find me. So I took that scripture and I remember in my mind, I took my heart out

of my chest and I just placed it in Jesus' hands. And then all of a sudden, these liquid love waves

came over me, waves of light, waves of kindness and love and joy and peace and mercy.

Just the blessings of God, forgiveness and power and strength, the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

And then all of a sudden, a penetrating light came into my mind, my brain, my soul, my body.

And I just felt regeneration. I felt resurrection power lift me up in a sense. And I knew that

I knew that I knew that it was the Lord Jesus coming in and just touching my brain

in that moment through the companionship of the Holy Spirit, through the fellowship of the Holy

Spirit, as I was spending time with the Holy Spirit. And I was healed. I just knew it. I knew

that I was healed. And I went to bed that night and I woke up the next day. And can I say,

I was a totally different person, totally different person. I didn't need to sleep 17,

18 hours a day. I only needed my normal, like a normal person, seven to eight. Went back to the

gym, got my job back, started serving in church twice on a Sunday, started going to, started

playing baseball again, started going, just having a social life. And I started playing baseball

again, actually. And I was going to try and make a bit of a baseball comeback. But God said,

you've got to go to Bible college. You've got to go to Bible college. So to help people know the

same love and the same companionship and the same healing power that I've showed you. And I say the

love of the father, the grace of Lord Jesus and a wonderful companionship of the blessed Holy

Spirit. And because that's where God met me and that's how God healed me. And I just felt a nudge,

like a little inkling, like a God wink, like a little, just a little nudge to the Lord, just go

get another MRI, ask the doctor to just get another MRI on the brain. It was not like words or a voice.

It was just a little inkling. It was like a nudge. And so I did. And I asked the doctor, the GP to

give me a referral to get another MRI. And the MRI came back fully clear, fully clean, fully whole,

a hundred percent clean bill of health. There were no brain lesions. There were no white matter brain

lesions. There was nothing wrong with my brain at all. It was a clean bill of health, a hundred

percent. So I've got one MRI saying a significant amount of white matter brain lesions, holes in the

brain with all these really terrible life debilitating symptoms. I've got a supernatural

prayer experience with the Lord because it definitely was supernatural where the Lord met me.

And then I've got all the symptoms leaving, praise God. And then I've got another MRI just to prove

and corroborate with medical evidence that I was completely healed in Jesus powerful name,

in Jesus powerful name. And praise God. It was only the, there's only one way that I'm here doing

what I'm doing. And that is because of Jesus is the healer. Jesus is the healer. I'm living proof

that Jesus is the healer. Jesus didn't just heal me. Jesus didn't just save me. Jesus didn't just

set me free. Jesus gave me my life back a hundred percent triple for my trouble. I've now, I'm now

married to my beautiful wife, Sarah, been married for seven years this year. And we have three

beautiful children, two beautiful children here with us. And our third beautiful daughter who is

a week away. So triple for my trouble now married. And we now are senior pastors at our church in

the suburb of prospect in Sydney. And yeah, we've got a thriving ministry. We see a lot of healings,

a lot of salvations, probably seen over about 550 salvations over the last six or seven years. And

a lot of supernatural miracles all because of Jesus, all because of the finished work of the

cross that Jesus has given us everything and purchased for us everything on the cross. And

again, me and my wife, Sarah, just want to help people and just try and make a difference in

this world for people to know Jesus, find community and discover their God-given purpose. Because

ultimately that's what he did for us. He turned our test into a testimony. He turned our mess

into a message. He transformed our life and he gave us our life back. And we're just very

grateful to be here and have our family and doing what we're doing. So we're very passionate about

doing the work for the Lord. And everything comes out of the love of the father, the grace of Lord

Jesus and the wonderful companionship of the blessed Holy Spirit. So that's my testimony in

a nutshell. Praise God. Five years from today, listening to this conversation, what's one message

you leave for yourself? The miracle is in the journey. It's day after day, week after week,

month after month, year after year, decade after decade, score after score, seeking first God's

kingdom. Seek first the kingdom of God above all else and his righteousness and everything else

should be added to you. And then as you take delight in the Lord, he will give you all the

desires of your heart. But just day after day, inch by inch, life's a cinch, yard by yard,

life gets hard. Consistency is a superpower. Accumulative interest and just doing the

little things that you know that God has showed you to do, that God has revealed to you. Even just

keeping the basics, keeping the first thing. Jesus is the first thing. He's the only thing

that matters. Keep your eyes on Jesus. The only thing that matters is Jesus. As long as your eyes

are on Jesus, keep the first thing and just do it bit by bit, little by little. And that's how

you're going to be moving forward. As long as you're not moving backwards, you're moving in

the right direction. So even it's little bit by little bit. So that would be my advice here.
