Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, St. Paul, pastors Bradley Schmeling, Javen Swanson, Lois Pallmeyer discuss the readings assigned for 7th Sunday of Easter: Acts 1:1-11; Ephesians 1:15-23; Luke 24:44-53. The pastors provide background for each biblical reading, share their personal reactions to the lesson, and apply the reading to life experience. This discussion is designed to help parishioners listen to Sunday readings with more depth and understanding. On this episode the pastors welcome special guest Larry Nelson, Gloria Dei Council Member and Stewardship Committee Chair. Larry is also a proud member of the Senior Choir, in which he maintains membership so that he can drive a car and get out of dairy-farm duty (you'll have to listen to figure out that reference.)
