Women can learn a lot about the vocation of motherhood from contemplative nuns. Whether a woman's vocation is to be a mother in the context of married life or the spiritual motherhood of religious life, both vocations have Our Lady as their source and inspiration.

Both vocations involve a life of sacrifice and humility.

Dr. Mary Cuff, author of Mother to Mother, shares how this book came about on today's episode. Her book introduces all moms to contemplative nuns who offer their insight into the common struggles of motherhood.

Through a question-and-answer format, these nuns from various monasteries give wisdom gained from their cloisters and offer it to mothers who are present in the domestic Church.
