Summary

This conversation explores the end of fixed ministry roles and the emergence of a fluid, Spirit-led divine order centered entirely in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Rather than assigning titles such as apostle, prophet, pastor, or teacher through human designation, the discussion emphasizes that Christ Himself manifests through His body as needed, moment by moment, by the Holy Spirit. Rigid structures often limit spiritual flow, while humility, flexibility, and recognition of Christ in one another allow true divine order to function. Jesus modeled the fullness of ministry, showing that ministry is not a position to hold but Christ to be lived.

Takeaway

True divine order flows from Christ living and speaking through His people. When believers remain humble, flexible, and Spirit-led, ministry becomes a natural expression of love rather than a structured role. As we let go of fixed identities and embrace union with Christ, the body functions in freedom, maturity, and life. Speak Christ. Live Christ. Let Him flow.

Ron:

The Lord’s unfolding even a greater revelation on divine order. Centered in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, number one, but number two, it really operates through the Holy Spirit. It’s not like somebody has to go through and lay hands on different ones and say, now you’re an apostle, and you’re a prophet, and you’re an evangelist, you’re a pastor.

No, it’s gonna be fluid by the Holy Spirit. Yes, you may operate as an apostle for a long time by the Holy Spirit. No one’s designating you as an apostle. People will recognize it because the Holy Spirit moves through you and manifests himself through you as an apostle, or a prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher.

But that divine order is fluid. It’s not static. The human mind tries to create, or tries to do the best they can to make divine order. It’s more static. That’s the reason the Lord seems to be imploding, if you want to call it that, or dismantling a lot of the churches and the different things, because they were fine for a time.

But when He wants them to move on, then it looks like, oh my gosh, everything’s—this is terrible. What’s happening? No, it’s really actually really good, because He’s trying to bring you into a level by the Holy Spirit. He’s going to create a divine order that really works. It’s real, and it’s not something that somebody designates. A human doesn’t designate it—the Holy Spirit does.

Roger:

We have known, for example, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers in the past, and they were all designated to people. This brother is this. This person is that. The anointing of Jesus Christ—Jesus Christ—is fluid, and He flows through His body, manifests Himself as He sees fit. There’s an apostolic flow of the Word coming through him.

Does that make him an apostle? No, not on a human realm. If you try to make him that, you pull things right down into a realm of just complete crash. Yes, it’s not gonna work. It’s enough that we recognize Jesus Christ, what He’s functioning through His body. That is the divine order.

You don’t have to say it. You don’t have to talk about it, but you receive it in your spirit, and it’s real to you.

Whatever ministry of Jesus Christ there is, it’s God’s purpose that we all move in it all. We move in every bit of it. It’s not you are this, and you’re that, and you’re this. And I know you could quote those scriptures—Is everyone an apostle? Is everyone a prophet?—with the answer being no.

We’re moving around where those scriptures—and we’re not saying they’re wrong—but they’re getting superseded by a greater revelation of the Lord and the Spirit. And the true order is when we begin to recognize Christ speaking through each one of us.

I recognize that foundational anointing coming through him. He’s speaking a word that’s foundational—fine, and that’s as far as it goes. There’s a recognition in my spirit.

You do not have to have recognition on any level to function in what God puts in your heart to be and do.

Debbie:

Don’t you think that at different times we have different anointings and different ministries? It goes with the flow, and if you’re part of it, then you’re flowing with it. At times you may be a ministry of the Word.

In the foundation, and at times you may be the encouragement. Everyone’s fluid. Everyone’s flowing together.

Ron:

That creates and demands a humility and a flexibility in our spirits continually. Because if you don’t have the humility, then you start moving in something, and pretty soon, “Look what I am.”

And then all of a sudden the Lord takes it away, and then you go into devastation. What happened? What did I do wrong? And really, you didn’t do anything wrong. The Lord just is moving on. He’s changing your anointing, and you’re supposed to flow with Christ in you.

Trisha:

If you look at Jesus Christ’s ministry, the Holy Spirit moved through Him in all of those five ministries. He was definitely evangelizing—“Come unto Me, all you who are heavy laden.” He was prophetic—the temple’s gonna be pulled down. He was a shepherd—“I am the good shepherd.”

He was the apostolic, laying out, “This is how you guys are gonna be with each other. This is your order.” Your servants of all—this is your order. Teaching, definitely.

And then the Holy Spirit was able to move through Him in different scriptures, stories like the story of the woman at the well. The Holy Spirit was moving through Him in multiple anointings and functions, and it’s exciting to see how God’s gonna move in us.

Ken:

We’re gonna see each other in the spirit. We’re gonna hear the words coming through that are going to anoint, they’re going to encourage, they’re gonna bring all the aspects of the fivefold ministry.

Monnie:

Christ isn’t in pieces. He’s all in one. God is to be manifested through us and in us. His glory He’s given to us. Isn’t that a part of what we are reaching into—the Holy Spirit?

Jim:

The interchangeable puzzle pieces. Imagine what our bodies would look like if we looked like puzzle pieces and we’re coming together, and yet there’s all different kinds of shapes and nonconformities and things that a puzzle has to fit into.

God just takes us, and He just presses us into that space. And because we’re so flexible, our bodies just conform into the shape that’s there. And our leg can fit over here, and pretty soon we’re all interlocked to fit where we’re supposed to fit.

That kind of does away with the idea of, “I have this commission. I fit this way. I only fit this way. I’m only anointed to do this, and I only fit like a box.”

Because that’s the only shape I will allow myself to fit into—the shape at which I think I’m supposed to be shaped.

Debbie:

Right.

Jim:

When I hear people talk about my ministry, they’re thinking like this: “I fit. I only fit one place. I fit in this square place over here in the top of my tile, right up here. That’s the little corner I fit in.”

“I can’t accept anybody else’s commission because they’re not shaped like me. My shape is the right shape because that’s my commission. I’m commissioned to be shaped in that shape.”

But what I’m hearing is I should be flexible like a piece of clay, so that at any point in time there’s a gap in the puzzle area that needs a puzzle piece to fit in, I should be able to go and be squeezed into that.

Roger:

Christ is the fulfillment of every ministry that flows through us. The emphasis on ministry just disappears, because it will be a naturally occurring thing within His body.

Commissions, positions, all that stuff is gone on a human level. It will not be manifested that way again.

A little song we used to sing—Speak Christ, live Christ. Every day we speak Christ, we live Him. And that is entailing this love affair we have with Him. It’s a love affair with the Lord Jesus.
