Shownotes
The room can feel still, but you are not resting.
You are watching, waiting, and staying close.
That kind of presence takes something out of you.
This guided breathing reset for caregivers uses a soft, quiet breath you can practice without drawing attention to yourself. You breathe slowly in and out through your nose, letting the breath stay gentle while you sit beside someone during treatment, an infusion, or a long medical visit.
This episode is for moments when:
- You are sitting beside someone while treatment is underway.
- You are waiting through a long appointment with nothing to do but stay present.
- You are trying to keep your own worry from taking over the room.
- You need a quiet 5 minute breathing exercise without leaving their side.
The breath is slow, soft, and easy to keep private. You can stay right where you are and let each inhale and exhale give you a little room inside the waiting. This short breathing meditation is not about finding the right words or changing how you feel. There is nothing to fix or perform. You can simply breathe and remain beside the person you came to be with.
