Shownotes

You wanted the bigger creative life. So why can it feel so frightening when the opportunities actually arrive?

Sometimes the dream feels very different once it stops being theoretical. The room is booked. The audience is real. The deadline is on the calendar. And suddenly, playing small starts to look strangely appealing.

In this episode of the Healthy Wealthy Wise Artist Podcast, Lara Bianca Pilcher explores:

Why creative growth can bring fear alongside excitement
Why playing small can feel safer than being fully seen
What happened when Lara’s book launch, international events, media, and speaking opportunities all began growing at once
The difference between carrying your whole imagined future and preparing for the opportunity actually in front of you
The question every artist should ask: What am I protecting myself from by staying small — and what might staying small be costing me?

You do not have to prove today that you can carry every opportunity that might ever come.

You don’t have to carry the whole future. Carry the next room.
