The focus of this podcast episode is the essential concept of "grabbing a hold of healing," articulated by Carlie Terradez as part of her comprehensive A to Z of Healing series. In today's teaching, Carlie expounds upon the parallelism between the act of receiving healing and the acceptance of salvation, emphasizing that both require an active engagement of faith. She explains the necessity of recognizing Jesus as the risen Savior, whose resurrection power is pivotal in the healing process, thus instilling hope and empowerment in the believer. Furthermore, she speaks on the importance of relinquishing lies that impede one's ability to grasp the truth of healing, urging listeners to cultivate a vision for their future that transcends present afflictions. This episode serves as a clarion call to embrace the transformative nature of faith and to actively partake in the promises of healing offered through Christ.

Speaker A:Man, it comes around so fast.
Speaker A:Really glad to be with you this afternoon.

Speaker A:So make sure you stay tuned until the end because we're going to be praying for your needs right live on here.
Speaker A:We are on the A to Z of healing, and we are on D. We're going to go through the whole Alphabet and, you know, we're going to end up with 26 nuggets, one for every letter of the Alphabet, 26 nuggets that are going to help you receive your healing.
Speaker A:We've covered a lot of ground already.
Speaker A:We're already on G. We're going to, we're going to be talking about grabbing a hold of our healing.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:This is really interesting, but, you know, many times people, they think, they forget that healing is received in the same way that we receive our salvation.
Speaker A:And, and it's Easter week right now, so it's Thursday today in England.
Speaker A:We call that Maundy Thursday.
Speaker A:I don't know if people still use that phrase.
Speaker A:But, you know, this was a time where there would have been great sorrow when, you know, Jesus disciples were hiding in hiding at this point.
Speaker A:They were afraid, you know, they'd seen their Lord crucified, you know, and the whole time that he was.
Speaker A:Are walking on the earth, he was giving them messages of hope.
Speaker A:He was performing miracles.
Speaker A:He was telling them, actually, this is what's going to happen to me.
Speaker A:I'm going to go to Jerusalem.
Speaker A:I'm going to be.
Speaker A:I'm going to die on a cross.
Speaker A:I'm going to be crucified.
Speaker A:But in on the third day, I'm going to, I'm going to rise again and the Holy Spirit's going to.
Speaker A:Is going to come and be your helper, right?
Speaker A:The whole time, the Lord was preparing his disciples, but it's almost like they didn't really have ears to hear.
Speaker A:And so they missed bits and pieces of that.
Speaker A:And for many years, as a believer I was a believer.
Speaker A:I loved Jesus, loved the Word of God.
Speaker A:But there were things that I missed in the Word of God, maybe because I didn't have ears to hear them, or maybe because I just, you know, from ignorance, I didn't see that they didn't read them.
Speaker A:I didn't find those nuggets.
Speaker A:Or maybe they've been misrepresented to me.
Speaker A:Maybe I just misunderstood them.
Speaker A:Whatever.
Speaker A:It was like there was nuggets in the Word of God that I wasn't able to receive.
Speaker A:And I know that the Lord had them for me, but.
Speaker A:But I just wasn't able to receive them.
Speaker A:And part of the big holdup in receiving those nuggets that then so consequently changed my life was really because I didn't recognize Jesus as a risen Savior.
Speaker A:Now this is really important.
Speaker A:Sunday is going to be Easter Sunday.
Speaker A:We're going to be celebrating the Resurrection.
Speaker A:But you know what?
Speaker A:We don't just celebrate the resurrection because it happens to be Easter.
Speaker A:It's once a year.
Speaker A:We should be celebrating the resurrection power of the Lord every single day of our life as a believer.
Speaker A:You know, so often people say, well, I just, I believe in healing, Kylie.
Speaker A:I believe it's mine.
Speaker A:But how comes, you know, I'm still sick?
Speaker A:How comes I'm still dealing with symptoms in my body?
Speaker A:And yet they don't question, have the same questioning about sin.
Speaker A:We know that we got, when we get born again, Jesus.
Speaker A:We put our faith in Jesus as our risen Savior and we receive forgiveness for our sin.
Speaker A:We, we, we.
Speaker A:We walk free from the, the constant, the, the.
Speaker A:Not the consequences, but the, the constraints, the bondage of sin.
Speaker A:But yet, even after we're born again, we still mess up.
Speaker A:We still sin.
Speaker A:And we don't look at somebody that has made a mistake in their life after they got born again.
Speaker A:And it doesn't have to be catastrophic.
Speaker A:It could be.
Speaker A:You know, you gossiped, you ate too much, right?
Speaker A:I mean, no one's perfect is an impossible standard to live up to outside of Jesus.
Speaker A:But, you know, we don'.
Speaker A:And said, well, I don't know if they're saved.
Speaker A:You know what?
Speaker A:They had a bad attitude.
Speaker A:They acted in anger.
Speaker A:They, they cut me off in traffic, they snapped at me.
Speaker A:They bore false witness.
Speaker A:They, they wore mixed clothing of fabrics.
Speaker A:You know, that was under the law as well, right?
Speaker A:They, they ate too much on Easter Sunday dinner.
Speaker A:You know, I'm not sure if they're saved.
Speaker A:We wouldn't look at the sin in somebody's life and question whether that somebody had indeed received salvation or we wouldn't question, you know, was Jesus really, you know, was he powerful enough to be the savior for all of this?
Speaker A:And because they're still obviously, you know, meddling in it, you know, we don't question the giver and we don't question the gift.
Speaker A:But when it comes to healing, oftentimes if.
Speaker A:If somebody is experiencing symptoms in their body, we think, well, I don't know if healing is real.
Speaker A:I don't know if Jesus really did pay the price of my healing.
Speaker A:I don't know if.
Speaker A:I don't know, maybe.
Speaker A:And we start to question.
Speaker A:We come up with all these questions because the, The.
Speaker A:The presence of those symptoms poses questions that we cannot understand.
Speaker A:So rather than looking to find the answer or taking authority of the circumstances, we start looking back, saying, well, I don't know if healing's real.
Speaker A:You know, here's the.
Speaker A:Here's the problem with that.
Speaker A:We are not recognizing the finished work of the cross.
Speaker A:We are not recognizing Jesus as a risen Savior.
Speaker A:We are looking at Jesus.
Speaker A:And maybe, you know, maybe you're in a Catholic church.
Speaker A:Maybe your Jesus is still nailed to the cross.
Speaker A:You know, I grew up in a Catholic environment, in a Catholic primary school.
Speaker A:I was Roman Catholic.
Speaker A:Did all the, you know, smells and bells and all that.
Speaker A:But there came a point in my life when I realized my relationship with Jesus wasn't with a Jesus, it was nailed to a cross.
Speaker A:You know, it's Thursday now, but Sunday's coming, right?
Speaker A:And we might find ourselves in a place where we don't know where we're at, where we're suffering when we're, you know, in a terrible situation.
Speaker A:But I want to bring you hope today that even in the middle of your situation, the power of the risen Savior is enough to bring you out of that pit, whatever pit you find yourself in today.
Speaker A:The power of a risen Savior is more than enough to get you up and out of that pit and on a place on a path of victory again.
Speaker A:So we're talking today about grabbing a hold of sickness, of grabbing a whole.
Speaker A:Not grabbing a hold of sickness, grabbing a hold of healing.
Speaker A:Why is this?
Speaker A:Well, because healing is received exactly the same way that we receive salvation.
Speaker A:You know, his salvation, Jesus.
Speaker A:It says in the scripture that he was the propitiation.
Speaker A:That is the payment, right, for all sin, for all mankind, forever, for everyone.
Speaker A:He paid for all of our sin.
Speaker A:Now, some people accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Speaker A:We call them Christians.
Speaker A:Other people would say they're saved.
Speaker A:You know, and if you're.
Speaker A:If you're not saved if you haven't received Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Speaker A:You need to be.
Speaker A:You can say a simple prayer.
Speaker A:Lord, I need you to be my Savior.
Speaker A:I receive your forgiveness now in your name.
Speaker A:Come and save me.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And you're saved.
Speaker A:You've received Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Speaker A:But there's something else.
Speaker A:Even though Jesus has paid the price for everyone to be free from sin, he wants to be everyone's Savior.
Speaker A:Not everyone responds to him.
Speaker A:That is an act of our free will.
Speaker A:So salvation isn't automatic.
Speaker A:Salvation comes the moment that we put faith in that risen Savior.
Speaker A:Not the Savior that's nailed to the cross or buried in a grave.
Speaker A:No, we're putting.
Speaker A:We're putting our faith in our risen Savior.
Speaker A:And when we're doing that, we are grabbing a hold of salvation and saying, thank you, Jesus, that I don't have to live under the power of sin anymore.
Speaker A:I don't have to live with fear in my heart anymore.
Speaker A:I don't have to worry where I'm going to be in the next life.
Speaker A:I don't have to struggle through this life all by myself.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:I have received risen Savior that has the power to save my soul, to heal my body, to bring peace to my mind, to help me in daily situations, to prosper me, that I thank you, Lord, that I don't have to worry whether I have a future anymore.
Speaker A:My future in eternity is secure, man.
Speaker A:That's the power of a risen Savior.
Speaker A:But you know, that isn't automatic.
Speaker A:It happens the moment that we put faith in what Jesus has already done, the moment that we recognize, yep, Jesus did die on a cross.
Speaker A:He was buried in a grave, and three days later he did rise again.
Speaker A:I believe that and I receive it, that at that point we have grabbed a hold of salvation.
Speaker A:And, you know, salvation has benefits.
Speaker A:It has fruit.
Speaker A:It has fruit, but we have to.
Speaker A:We have to grab onto the fruit, you know, and.
Speaker A:And sometimes we kind of have to let go of something with one hand in order to grab something or with another hand, you know, if we are grabbing on.
Speaker A:So let me put healing in the context of salvation, because it's the same atonement.
Speaker A:It was the same Jesus's body that was broken on the cross that paid for both sin and so, and.
Speaker A:And therefore salvation and covered sickness and therefore healing.
Speaker A:It was the same package.
Speaker A:Jesus didn't have to get crucified twice.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:It was one time forever.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:You know, there is.
Speaker A:People mix this up and they'll Pick one part of this up and not the other part of this.
Speaker A:And sometimes in our life and just in the context of, of sin and salvation, if we are holding on so tightly to sin in our life, we will struggle to let it go and receive the payment for that sin, which is salvation.
Speaker A:And, you know, and we've all got testimonies, and many of us on here, of how we got born again, but we had to give up that, that, that sin.
Speaker A:We had to give it up to Jesus in order to receive his salvation.
Speaker A:And it's the same way with grabbing onto healing.
Speaker A:We have to give up the power that sickness has in our body in order to receive the gift of healing that Jesus had already paid for.
Speaker A:And that might sound a little bit trivial, right?
Speaker A:But it's absolutely essential because in the same way that salvation isn't automatic, healing isn't automatic either.
Speaker A:There needs to be a response.
Speaker A:In the same way that we say, jesus, I want you to be my Savior, today, we're saying, jesus, I want you.
Speaker A:I want you as my healer.
Speaker A:I receive you as my healer.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And we grab.
Speaker A:And then when, when we go through that process, we are literally grasping something and making it our own.
Speaker A:There's a scripture here I want to read to you.
Speaker A:Paul wrote, this is in Philippians 3:12 in the Amplified Classic.
Speaker A:And he says this.
Speaker A:I have.
Speaker A:Not that I have now attained this ideal or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of grasp and make my own.
Speaker A:That for which Christ Jesus the Messiah, has laid a hold of me and made me his own.
Speaker A:And that's a powerful verse.
Speaker A:You know, there's.
Speaker A:There's a process.
Speaker A:He was detailing a process here.
Speaker A:He's saying, I see something that you have as the Messiah provided for me.
Speaker A:And right now, in my heart and in my mind, I'm reaching forward to grasp onto that promise and make it my own.
Speaker A:Because you, Jesus, have made me your own man.
Speaker A:That's such a powerful thing.
Speaker A:Look at this.
Speaker A:This is a scripture.
Speaker A:This will help you.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:You know, the Lord never lets up his grip on us.
Speaker A:Sometimes we're struggling.
Speaker A:It's almost like we feel like we're grasping at straws.
Speaker A:But he never lets up his grip on us.
Speaker A:We're never floundering.
Speaker A:He's always got a grip on us.
Speaker A:Even if there we go through things when maybe we don't understand the season, he's always got a grip on us.
Speaker A:Even if we lose our way, even if we walk away from the Gospel, even if we turn our back on God, he's always got a grip on us.
Speaker A:He loves us and he doesn't let us go.
Speaker A:He pursues you.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And if he pursues you, that means that he's a father that loves you and a father that loves you also wants you.
Speaker A:Well, look at this.
Speaker A:This is in Hebrews 13, verse 5 and 6 in the Amplified.
Speaker A:It says, for he, God himself has said, I will not in any way fail you, nor give up on you, nor let you without support.
Speaker A:You know, the Lord's supporting you today.
Speaker A:He's not leaving you to flounder.
Speaker A:He's not leaving you to drown for the waves to crash over your head.
Speaker A:He's going to.
Speaker A:He's supporting you today.
Speaker A:He says, I will not.
Speaker A:I will not.
Speaker A:I will not.
Speaker A:Now we need to find out what he will not.
Speaker A:Because if he said I will not three times, you know he's serious, right?
Speaker A:I will not in any degree leave you helpless.
Speaker A:The Lord's not going to leave you without help, nor forsake you.
Speaker A:He's not going to leave you alone in the midst of your struggles.
Speaker A:I'm not going to let you down.
Speaker A:You know, you can depend on him.
Speaker A:If he says he has a promise for you in the word of God, if he says that it's finished, it's finished, right?
Speaker A:He says, I'm not gonna.
Speaker A:I'm not gonna let you down.
Speaker A:I'm not gonna relax my hold on you.
Speaker A:Assuredly not.
Speaker A:And sometimes, you know, I can think of examples in my life where it's almost like Jesus is held on to me, kicking and screaming, like I did not want to.
Speaker A:I did not want to receive his love.
Speaker A:I did not want.
Speaker A:I mean, man, I was rebellious, but, you know, I know the Lord held onto me even though I was kicking and screaming and resisting.
Speaker A:You know, he wasn't going to let me go, man, I wanted to let him go, but he was never going to let me go, he says.
Speaker A:So it says in the next verse in verse six.
Speaker A:So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, the Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:Now this is really personal.
Speaker A:The Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:Think about that for a moment.
Speaker A:That's a great thing to.
Speaker A:To put in the comments.
Speaker A:The Lord is my help, helper.
Speaker A:Does anyone on here need a little help today?
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Does anyone need a helping hand?
Speaker A:Does anyone need a little guidance?
Speaker A:Does anyone need a little support, a little assistance, a little companionship?
Speaker A:Does anyone need someone by their side fighting for them?
Speaker A:If you need a helper today, put it in the Comments.
Speaker A:The Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:Man, I would put my name in.
Speaker A:The Lord is Carly's helper.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that you help Carly today, that you help Anita today, that you help Megan today, that you help Anastasia Joy today.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:That you are.
Speaker A:That you are their helper.
Speaker A:It's personal.
Speaker A:That your Joy's helper today.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:That you're Patricia's helper today.
Speaker A:That you're Monty's helper today.
Speaker A:That you're Chrissy's helper Rebecca's helper today.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:You know, when we start to do this, we're raising our vision to heaven.
Speaker A:We more than we are down to our circumstances, something starts to change.
Speaker A:The Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:Help me, Jesus.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Mean, that's a powerful prayer.
Speaker A:Suddenly the angels of heaven are like, hang on a minute, somebody's speaking the word.
Speaker A:You know, angels respond to the word being spoken out of your mouth.
Speaker A:They're dispatched at the sound of the word coming out of your mouth.
Speaker A:When you say, the Lord is my helper, all of heaven is attracted to you.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:You're attracting the power of God into your situation.
Speaker A:Now the demons that are trying to attack you, like, whoa, back off.
Speaker A:I got a spicy one here.
Speaker A:I got one that's.
Speaker A:Now they're calling in the cavalry.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Man, this is.
Speaker A:This is important because we can call the.
Speaker A:We can call the power of the kingdom of heaven to be alongside us.
Speaker A:The Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:Some of you need to put that on a sticky note and leave it where you can see it.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Look in the mirror, put it on.
Speaker A:When you're brushing your teeth, put it on the mirror, say, lord is my helper.
Speaker A:Today, as you get up, as you go around your day, as you.
Speaker A:As you face challenges that are difficult, whether that's in healing or whatever else.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:Every time the devil comes to attack you, every time the symptom comes in your body.
Speaker A:No, the Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Every time that knee starts to hurt.
Speaker A:Nope.
Speaker A:The Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:He's my strength.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:You got a grip on me and you're not letting me down.
Speaker A:He says, the Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:I will not be seized with alarm.
Speaker A:Oh, now this is really.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:He says, I will not fear or dread or be terrified.
Speaker A:What can man do to me?
Speaker A:Now, There's a whole lot in that.
Speaker A:But when we start to say, the lord is my helper, it puts us into a position of faith.
Speaker A:Now we're reaching out and we're grasping onto a promise and we're bringing it back to ourselves.
Speaker A:We're taking it captive.
Speaker A:We're beginning to take captive a promise.
Speaker A:And you can put in there, the Lord is my helper in the area of healing.
Speaker A:The Lord is my help in my physical body.
Speaker A:The Lord is my help in my.
Speaker A:In my prosperity.
Speaker A:You, whatever it is, the Lord's helping you.
Speaker A:You're taking that promise captive into your own family, into your own heart.
Speaker A:By the.
Speaker A:By the very actions of your words, you are extending faith towards it.
Speaker A:Now, whatever you put faith in is an avenue for the God to move in your life.
Speaker A:And the moment that you do that, you cannot say, the Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Speaker A:And then look behind you and be in fear at the same time.
Speaker A:You see, fear and faith are polar opposites.
Speaker A:You can't be a Lord, there's my helper.
Speaker A:And then be seized with alarm, right?
Speaker A:That doesn't work.
Speaker A:So when it says here that you have this, the Lord is my helper, I will not be seized with alarm.
Speaker A:I will not fear.
Speaker A:I will not be or dread or be terrified.
Speaker A:What can man do to me?
Speaker A:You're starting to magnify the power of God in your life above what the enemy, whatever the enemy is trying to do or the natural circumstances are trying to achieve.
Speaker A:Man, this is huge.
Speaker A:This is.
Speaker A:This is.
Speaker A:This is talking.
Speaker A:We're talking today about grabbing onto healing.
Speaker A:It doesn't come automatically.
Speaker A:It comes with a change of perspective.
Speaker A:It comes with an acknowledgment of the truth.
Speaker A:It comes with a change of what comes out of your mouth, right?
Speaker A:It's not automatic.
Speaker A:We.
Speaker A:We have to take possession of it.
Speaker A:We have to grab it, grasp it, make it our own.
Speaker A:Say, hang on a minute, devil.
Speaker A:You're not stealing my health from me because I've already received help on the inside.
Speaker A:I have the helper, I have the healer.
Speaker A:I have the Savior, a risen Savior on the inside of me.
Speaker A:That's more than enough power to raise me from the dead, right?
Speaker A:More than enough.
Speaker A:If it could.
Speaker A:This.
Speaker A:This.
Speaker A:This is a.
Speaker A:This is a cool scripture.
Speaker A:I'm going to show you this going over here.
Speaker A:And you might not be thinking about this as an Easter scripture, but.
Speaker A:But I love it anyway.
Speaker A:It stirs me up.
Speaker A:Is in Acts, chapter two.
Speaker A:Pages are stuck together.
Speaker A:Acts, chapter two.
Speaker A:And this is talking.
Speaker A:This is talking about Jesus's crucifixion, right?
Speaker A:But it goes on.
Speaker A:It says Here you in this is Acts 2.
Speaker A:I'm going to start in verse 23.
Speaker A:You have taken him who was handed over by the ordained counsel and foreknowledge of God and by lawless hands and crucified.
Speaker A:Have crucified.
Speaker A:And they've killed him.
Speaker A:Whom God.
Speaker A:This is talking about Jesus.
Speaker A:They crucified him.
Speaker A:But it says, whom God raised up by loosening the pull of death because it was not possible that he should be held by it.
Speaker A:Think about that for a moment.
Speaker A:That death was defeated.
Speaker A:God, literally, literally, after Jesus was crucified and put in the grave for a few days, God intervened.
Speaker A:He loosened the pull of death because it wasn't powerful enough to keep him there.
Speaker A:It says here it wasn't possible.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:You could.
Speaker A:You could write that differently.
Speaker A:You could say it was impossible that death could hold Jesus in the grave.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:We.
Speaker A:You know what?
Speaker A:It may be Thursday, Friday, wherever you are, but Sunday's coming.
Speaker A:It's not possible for death to hold you in the grave.
Speaker A:If death couldn't hold Jesus in the grave, and he's the risen savior, the risen healer, and you've received him into your heart, now you've got the risen Savior, the risen healer in your heart.
Speaker A:The same death that it was impossible to hold Jesus in the grave is impossible to hold you in the grave.
Speaker A:If it wasn't.
Speaker A:If it couldn't take on Jesus, it cannot take on you.
Speaker A:And what sickness is more terminal than death?
Speaker A:None.
Speaker A:So if the very terminus of sickness has been defeated death itself, then, you know, no sickness can hold you in the grave either.
Speaker A:It's time to come out.
Speaker A:It's time to let it go.
Speaker A:How do we let go of sickness?
Speaker A:By grabbing onto healing, man.
Speaker A:We hold onto it.
Speaker A:We take possession of it.
Speaker A:Thank you, Holy Spirit, that you're helping these words become revelation to us today.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that you're speaking directly into our situation.
Speaker A:That you see things that other people don't see.
Speaker A:That you see to the heart, that you cut to the chase.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:That you're stripping away the lies of the enemy.
Speaker A:He doesn't have power over you.
Speaker A:Let me just say that he doesn't have power over you and he doesn't have authority over you.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because Jesus is a risen Savior.
Speaker A:You know, can you imagine what happened on the day of Pentecost?
Speaker A:Can you imagine what the devil must have thought?
Speaker A:It says actually in the scripture, you know, the enemy would never would have killed the King of glory.
Speaker A:He never would have killed the King of Glory.
Speaker A:If he had known what was going to happen.
Speaker A:And then on the day of Pentecost, when they all get filled with the spirit and they all receive, thousands come to know the Lord.
Speaker A:And now it's not just one man he was trying to deal with, one man he was trying to defeat.
Speaker A:He now Jesus has multiplied himself in the hearts of 3,000 believers, man.
Speaker A:Stupid devil.
Speaker A:He's just so dumb, right?
Speaker A:He killed the king of glory, who then multiplies.
Speaker A:You can't kill Jesus.
Speaker A:He's a risen Lord.
Speaker A:There's not enough power in all of hell to take him down and keep him there, man.
Speaker A:If that power, the same power, and it is the same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead now quickens your mortal flesh living on the inside of you.
Speaker A:I'm telling you, when we start to put faith in those words in those scriptures, there's no place for fear.
Speaker A:There's no place for.
Speaker A:There's no place for symptoms.
Speaker A:There's just no.
Speaker A:There's just no place for it.
Speaker A:So we grab onto healing by replacing the lie of sickness with the truth of God's word.
Speaker A:So if you're, if you're taking notes today, there's a few scriptures here I want you to see.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:We're going to go through some, but a few points, but point number one, how do we grab onto healing?
Speaker A:Okay, we have to know the truth.
Speaker A:We have to know the truth.
Speaker A:That means.
Speaker A:And we talked a bit about this last week, actually, when we talk about forgive and forget.
Speaker A:But we can't just stop thinking about something if we've believed a lie.
Speaker A:Maybe the lie that we believed is that God's healing power isn't available today.
Speaker A:Well, that's a lie because there's no expiration date on the word of God.
Speaker A:There's still healing miracles.
Speaker A:And Jesus told his disciples in the Great Commission, go and do likewise.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Heal the sick, preach the gospel, cast out devils, raise the dead freely.
Speaker A:If you receive freely, give.
Speaker A:He wouldn't commission his disciples to do something that, well, that's passing away, right?
Speaker A:He was making disciples.
Speaker A:Show these people how to do likewise.
Speaker A:So maybe you've believed a lie, but you need to replace it with the truth.
Speaker A:So if the lie that you believe was, you know, this passed away with the apostles, then read the Bible.
Speaker A:Read the Bible and you'll find that's not true.
Speaker A:You know, how, how is it that people.
Speaker A:There are so many healing testimonies out there.
Speaker A:You know, we've seen at least three people raised from the dead through this ministry.
Speaker A:I've Seen my daughter on death's door, literally as an infant.
Speaker A:She was sent to, sent home from the hospital to die at three years old, expected to live a week.
Speaker A:And she's.
Speaker A:God supernaturally healed her and she's, you know, she's 22 today and she's got a family.
Speaker A:Mary got a family of her own.
Speaker A:We've seen too much healing power to believe that healing's not available today.
Speaker A:But in order to grasp a hold of that truth, we had to be ready to give up a lie.
Speaker A:You see, in order to have your hands free to receive truth, you have to be ready to give up a lie.
Speaker A:And sometimes when we've been in situations for a long time and we have not seen, you know, maybe we haven't seen a breakthrough, maybe we haven't seen a change.
Speaker A:It can be very tempting to believe a lie, you know, to, to start to see the fruit of that.
Speaker A:And somebody's asking a good question.
Speaker A:How do you identify the lie?
Speaker A:Well, really what you'll see first is the fruit of a lie.
Speaker A:You know, there's, there's always these things always have fruit somewhere and, and so they're counterfeit.
Speaker A:You know, everything that the enemy has is a counterfeit to what the Lord has for you.
Speaker A:And it will have fruit.
Speaker A:So I'm going to put this in another context here.
Speaker A:What a fruit of, of God's character and nature.
Speaker A:Is love.
Speaker A:A counterfeit of that is lust.
Speaker A:So love has a fruit.
Speaker A:It is, it is kind, it is loving, it is compassionate, it is not self serving, it is not easily anchored, it is not self seeking, it is not prideful, it does not puff up right, it is long suffering.
Speaker A:It always believes the best.
Speaker A:But the counterfeit lie, which is lust, is full of pride.
Speaker A:The fruit of that, of that light is pride.
Speaker A:Is every opposite thing.
Speaker A:It is, it is selfish, it is self seeking.
Speaker A:It wants to tear down, not to build up, it wants to put into bondage and restrained rather than set free.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So there's opposite.
Speaker A:So lies and truths both have fruit.
Speaker A:If you look for the fruit, you'll see what, whether it comes from a lie or whether it comes from a truth.
Speaker A:So this is really important.
Speaker A:If we really believe that Jesus is the healer and that healing is for us, we're going to start to see healing manifest in our body.
Speaker A:We're going to start to see healing manifesting when we're praying for other people.
Speaker A:We're going to start to see the power of God in different places, working through us as we make ourselves available because we are Seeing the fruit of the truth that we have believed.
Speaker A:If we believe that healing isn't a thing today that, you know, for whatever reason it's not possible, then what we'll do is we'll see the fruit of sickness abounding in every area of our life.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:We'll see the fruit of sickness and self centered.
Speaker A:You know, sickness has all of the hallmarks of the enemy, so it'll bear his characteristics and his nature.
Speaker A:Okay, so that's a really good question.
Speaker A:I'm glad you asked us.
Speaker A:So knowing the truth and letting go of the lie, that's, that's number one on how to grab a hold of healing.
Speaker A:Number two, I said getting a vision, getting a vision for your future.
Speaker A:You know, this is, this is crucial because one of the things that, that, that sickness does is it shuts down your imagination.
Speaker A:You know, especially if you're dealing with chronic fatigue, you're extremely tired as a result of whatever it is that you're dealing with, you know, but it'll, it'll shut down any kind of imagination.
Speaker A:And this is really important.
Speaker A: You know, Proverbs: Speaker A:Let's just look at that for a moment.
Speaker A:That's a, a powerful scripture that I think is, is overlooked.
Speaker A:It says where there is no vision.
Speaker A:It says, it's like differently in different translations.
Speaker A:In the King James it says this.
Speaker A:Where there is no vision, the people perish.
Speaker A:But he who keepeth the law happy is he.
Speaker A:You know what this is talking about?
Speaker A:The law here is the word of God, the instruction.
Speaker A:That's what that actually means, it direction, that word law.
Speaker A:And from the Torah, from, from the Bible.
Speaker A:This is an Old Testament verse, okay, but it's talking about instruction, it's talking about divine direction.
Speaker A:In other words, when you put more focus, when you keep the word of God, there's going to be fruit because that truth of the word will bear fruit.
Speaker A:Happiness, joy, peace, right?
Speaker A:Prosperity, safety, wholeness, favor, friendship, healing, all that stuff.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:But it says here, where there is no vision, the people perish.
Speaker A:Now this word for vision, you know, this is, is talking about a site, a site that goes beyond the natural.
Speaker A:So particularly there is a, their vision could just be your eyes.
Speaker A:But specifically here is talking about spiritual sight.
Speaker A:So you could read this where there is no spiritual sight or you could put in and spiritual site is talking about a dream, it's talking about a revelation, it's talking about prophetic unctions here, oracles, revelation, that kind of thing.
Speaker A:So you could put in here where there is no.
Speaker A:Where there is no ability to see by faith.
Speaker A:Where there is no ability to see by faith.
Speaker A:The people perish.
Speaker A:Now the people perishing.
Speaker A:That is talking about being, going back, being literally being destroyed, right?
Speaker A:Casting articles to cast off restraint.
Speaker A:It's also in a sense talking about some sort of leadership to, to be brought to nothing, to be stripped, to be made naked, to be exposed.
Speaker A:So this is really important because this is what the enemy likes to do.
Speaker A:He likes to get in the middle, right in your face.
Speaker A:He likes to get all up in your business, all up in your face to where you cannot see anything else because he's obscured your vision.
Speaker A:Sometimes the pain, sometimes the symptoms, sometimes the worry or the fear is so up in our face like this, so close to us, we can't see around it.
Speaker A:He's trying to impair your spiritual sight.
Speaker A:That's what he's trying to do.
Speaker A:He want, the enemy wants to be so up in your face, so more real to you through your senses that you don't operate through the gift of faith that's on the inside of you.
Speaker A:You see, you have an innate, inborn, born again ability to see by faith.
Speaker A:You were created that way.
Speaker A:God put inside of you an imagination that was supposed to be used in conjunction with your trust in him.
Speaker A:So when we, when we start to get a vision for our future, what does that look like in a, in a, in a healing context?
Speaker A:That would be what does your future look like outside of sickness?
Speaker A:I want you to think about that for a moment.
Speaker A:You know, for me, this was a, this is a big deal.
Speaker A:I had epilepsy for many, many years.
Speaker A:And I didn't realize during that time that epilepsy had eroded my imagination, it had eroded my sense of vision, it had eroded my ability to hear God even, or to see by eyes of faith.
Speaker A:My spiritual sight was being diminished, getting smaller and smaller and smaller till all I could see were the seizures.
Speaker A:All I could see was the medication.
Speaker A:All I could see was the life that I was experiencing in that moment.
Speaker A:And as far as, you know, what do you want to do in the future?
Speaker A:What are you going to do 10 years from now, five years from now, whatever.
Speaker A:My world had become so small.
Speaker A:We had stopped planning for the future.
Speaker A:And our life, our marriage, our family was all about surviving that day.
Speaker A:You know, epilepsy hadn't just.
Speaker A:It wasn't just in my, my physical brain, the organ of my brain, it gotten into the way that I thought it become a part of me to where I could not separate the two and the Lord had to literally arrest me or in the level of my heart to say, I want to show you something different.
Speaker A:I need you to, to choose a life.
Speaker A:And I was in a Bible study one day and, you know, I've got.
Speaker A:My whole testimony is written out in All Is Not Lost.
Speaker A:By the way, is it All Not Lost was in one of my books anyway.
Speaker A:I think it might be in Miracles and Healing Made Easy.
Speaker A:That one was in Miracles and Healing Made Easy.
Speaker A:But, you know, my.
Speaker A:My whole world had become just surviving.
Speaker A:But one day I went to a Bible study and he spoke to me.
Speaker A: Deuteronomy: Speaker A:I set before you as witnesses, heaven and earth as witnesses, to testify against you today.
Speaker A:Choose life that you and your descendants might live.
Speaker A:Choose life meant that the Lord was saying to me, look, here's healing.
Speaker A:You know what?
Speaker A:Choose it.
Speaker A:I need you to choose it in order to give me permission to operate in your life in the, in the realm of healing.
Speaker A:That had never occurred to me before.
Speaker A:I mean, I thought God was, you know, omnipotent, omnipresent, all powerful, all controlling all of the alls, everything.
Speaker A:He could do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted.
Speaker A:But no, you see, God has limited himself by his own word.
Speaker A:He has spiritual laws in place by which he governs even Himself.
Speaker A:And he has given authority over sickness and disease to mankind.
Speaker A:And he's not going to take it back by trampling all over us and making us receive it.
Speaker A:He has put the choice in our hands.
Speaker A:He's.
Speaker A:He's offering it out to us today.
Speaker A:And in order to grab a hold of healing, we gotta choose it.
Speaker A:We gotta choose life.
Speaker A:You know, if you've never chosen to live, if you're struggling in a battle that's.
Speaker A:That's maybe terminal, if you're struggling in a battle that is a chronic condition and you've never done this, you need to say, I choose life today.
Speaker A:I choose to live.
Speaker A:I choose health.
Speaker A:I choose vitality.
Speaker A:I choose the abundant life that Jesus paid for me on the cross to have.
Speaker A:I'm choosing life right now.
Speaker A:Man, that changed everything for me.
Speaker A:It took a period of a couple of weeks really for my heart to grasp the.
Speaker A:The extent of what the Lord was.
Speaker A:Was trying to show me.
Speaker A:But, you know, as I started to.
Speaker A:To allow him to, my vision started to open up.
Speaker A:Now at this point, I still had epilepsy.
Speaker A:I was still having seizures in the period of these two weeks.
Speaker A:But I knew that my heart was being transformed by the word of God, because my vision was changing.
Speaker A:How do you know your heart is being transformed?
Speaker A:Because your vision is changing.
Speaker A:No, not.
Speaker A:Not your eyes, not your natural vision, but you know your heart is being transformed because you start to see things in the word of God that you didn't see before.
Speaker A:You start to see things about yourself that you didn't see before.
Speaker A:You start to see things about your future that you didn't see before, that there is a future.
Speaker A:You know, for me, I had to see myself without epilepsy.
Speaker A:I had to see myself getting up and not taking 13 different medications.
Speaker A:I had to see myself not having to have long periods of hospital stays, not having to go through this, you know, fine for a few months and then a major seizure, you know, putting you in intensive care again.
Speaker A:That was a cycle in my life that I needed to see past.
Speaker A:And one of the things that.
Speaker A:That grabbing onto, healing does is it means getting a vision for your future that looks beyond the moment, looks beyond where you are right now.
Speaker A:Can you see yourself?
Speaker A:Well, can you see yourself walking?
Speaker A:Can you see yourself strong?
Speaker A:And this.
Speaker A:This sounds really serious.
Speaker A:The Lord is already showing me somebody really struggles to open jars.
Speaker A:You've got problems with strength in your grip.
Speaker A:But the Lord is showing you, you know, you're strong.
Speaker A:He's.
Speaker A:I'm seeing you lifting, lifting dumbbells, opening things that were difficult before, and just doing up buttons and small things, fine motor skills that were challenging before.
Speaker A:I'm seeing you knitting, playing the piano.
Speaker A:Things that were difficult before.
Speaker A:You need to start seeing yourself different to how you see yourself today.
Speaker A:Maybe you go back and you pull up, you know, maybe you've got pictures or photographs of you at a better time.
Speaker A:When you were feeling stronger, print them out, stick those on your mirror, get the vision back, start planning your future rather than your funeral.
Speaker A:Man, this is.
Speaker A:This is a really big deal.
Speaker A:You know, your vision is so important.
Speaker A:And the enemy, in the middle of faith, will try and give you pictures.
Speaker A:He'll try and try and intercept.
Speaker A:Remember, he wants to be so up in your business, so up in your face right here that you can't see around him.
Speaker A:You know, when our daughter was sick and we were really pressing into healing, this is before she was healed.
Speaker A:You know, I'd had visions that came to me.
Speaker A:I had visions from the Lord that came to me about her future.
Speaker A:But I also had visions that the enemy brought to me about her.
Speaker A:Her tiny little body in a little white coll coffin and lobbing, lowered into the ground.
Speaker A:And those were the kind of things that I never allowed to come out of my mouth.
Speaker A:This is really important because if you've got a negative vision on the inside of you, you maybe couldn't stop the vision popping into your mind, but don't let it come out of your mouth.
Speaker A:Do not let that vision come out of your mouth if it's straight from the heart of the enemy, man.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:We can't always control the thoughts that just pop into our brain, but we can control what comes out of our mouth.
Speaker A:So I didn't, you know, and I didn't share those visions with my husband until after Hannah was healed.
Speaker A:He had the same kind of things, you know, the enemy was trying to place vision, just contradictory visions on the inside of us.
Speaker A:And he wasn't bothered with us until we started pressing in, in faith.
Speaker A:So when you start to reach out and grab a hold of healing, you know what, you've let go of the lies in order to embrace the truth.
Speaker A:And when you do that, expect a little resistance, expect a little confusion to present itself as an opportunity to you.
Speaker A:Because the enemy doesn't want you to be free.
Speaker A:He wants you to stay in that place of bondage.
Speaker A:But that's when you.
Speaker A:When those thoughts come to you and those visions come to you that you know aren't corresponding to the word of God.
Speaker A:You said, the Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:The Lord is my help.
Speaker A:I will not be afraid.
Speaker A:I will not be filled with dread.
Speaker A:I will not be filled with terror.
Speaker A:What can man do to me?
Speaker A:What can the devil do to me?
Speaker A:I just don't care.
Speaker A:The Lord is my helper.
Speaker A:And you start, you know, let.
Speaker A:We don't just ignore stuff, but we do come against it.
Speaker A:That is what the scripture means by.
Speaker A:By resisting, right?
Speaker A:Then we need to bring.
Speaker A:Bring the opposing thoughts into line.
Speaker A:So there's a scripture here that deals with this.
Speaker A:This is getting a grip.
Speaker A:This is getting a grip.
Speaker A:This is.
Speaker A:If you're taking some notes here, this would be good for you, right?
Speaker A:We have to take captive number three, take captive our thoughts.
Speaker A:We've got to get a grip of them because otherwise they start to get a grip of us.
Speaker A:We can take control of our thoughts and not just let our brain run wild, but bring our opposing thoughts into alignment with the word of God.
Speaker A:Literally rein them back in, right?
Speaker A:Sometimes our thoughts start spiraling.
Speaker A:They start getting out of control.
Speaker A:We can bring them back in.
Speaker A:There's a scripture here I want you to see.
Speaker A:This is in Second Corinthians, chapter 10.
Speaker A:Let me pull this one up.
Speaker A:For you.
Speaker A:Second Corinthians 10.
Speaker A:And around verse five, here we go.
Speaker A:Oh, this is good.
Speaker A:Actually, we've got to back up a little bit.
Speaker A:Back up a little bit here to verse 3.
Speaker A:It says so in 2nd Corinthians 10, verse 3.
Speaker A:It says this.
Speaker A:For though we walk in the flesh, we got this flesh suit on, right?
Speaker A:We do not war after the flesh.
Speaker A:Your body is not the enemy.
Speaker A:Your body is just your body.
Speaker A:Your body is the temple of holy, the Holy Ghost.
Speaker A:You're made in the image of him.
Speaker A:Don't despise your body.
Speaker A:Sometimes we look at our body and we see the weakness and we despise our own body and we curse our own body and we speak negatively about our own flesh.
Speaker A:Don't despise something that God created.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:He created you just as he wanted you.
Speaker A:You're perfect.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:Sometimes you can despise the weakness that shouldn't be there, but don't despise your body.
Speaker A:He says that you know, your flesh is not your enemy.
Speaker A:Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
Speaker A:For the weapons of our warfare go to war here.
Speaker A:The weapons of our warfare aren't carnal.
Speaker A:In other words, they're not of the flesh, but they're mighty through God.
Speaker A:To the pulling down of strongholds.
Speaker A:Now, a stronghold is a way of thinking that has become established.
Speaker A:It's like a fortress.
Speaker A:You know, sometimes that lie that we have believed becomes so ingrained in us that it's hard.
Speaker A:It's almost like it's become truth to us.
Speaker A:That lie has been repeated so many times, it becomes established like a fortress in our mind.
Speaker A:It becomes a stronghold.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:Now, strongholds, interestingly enough, was that when I went to that Bible study where I was healed of epilepsy, they were teaching on strongholds.
Speaker A:That's why it always kind of comes back to my remembrance.
Speaker A:But really, you know, this is just areas of our life that have become established that maybe we've.
Speaker A:We.
Speaker A:We haven't allowed God to get in on yet.
Speaker A:We know, maybe we're so busy managing the sickness or managing the disease that we forget to include the Lord in that.
Speaker A:We just.
Speaker A:Because we just take charge.
Speaker A:We just get into survival mode, fixing it, doing it, getting a routine, whatever.
Speaker A:And we forget that the Lord wants to be a helper.
Speaker A:We forget to invite him into the situation and then we find ourselves just burnt out, right?
Speaker A:That becomes a stronghold.
Speaker A:He says in verse five, casting down imaginations.
Speaker A:Imaginations.
Speaker A:That's really interesting, isn't it?
Speaker A:Casting down of Imaginations.
Speaker A:Here we are, we're talking about those visions, those things that pop into our brain that we start to see on the inside of us.
Speaker A:And we says there are some imaginations.
Speaker A:Why would you need to cast down imaginations?
Speaker A:Because not all imaginations, not all visions are from God.
Speaker A:That's really important that we understand that not every dream that you have is from God.
Speaker A:Not every, I mean, thank Jesus, because some of those are just crazy, right?
Speaker A:But casting down of imaginations, those things that are contrary to the word of God, man, we don't keep, want to keep those on the inside of us.
Speaker A:We don't want to come into agreement with those.
Speaker A:We don't want to receive that as a truth to us.
Speaker A:We don't want it to retain it on the inside in our memory, because we don't want it to become established.
Speaker A:We don't want it to become a stronghold.
Speaker A:We don't want it to become a place out of which we speak.
Speaker A:This is really important, right?
Speaker A:With you cannot necessarily stop things coming into your airspace.
Speaker A:I like to think a bit of it like this, you know, if your body, if your.
Speaker A:It was an air traffic with traffic control tower.
Speaker A:Many of us have either traveled on airplanes or we've been by an airport.
Speaker A:And you've seen those, all that runways with the planes that come in the land and they have a control tower and high up in the control tower is a person that has the visuals, they have the binoculars, they have the radar and they see the planes coming from far, far out when they're just a tiny blip on the screen and they get closer and closer and closer.
Speaker A:Did you know though that no airplanes can land on that Runway without permission?
Speaker A:They have to wait.
Speaker A:They can't just come along and zip in and, and land whenever they want to know.
Speaker A:They'd be all kinds of chaos and wrecks and stuff.
Speaker A:They, they have to have permission to land.
Speaker A:The air traffic controller must give that pilot permission to land.
Speaker A:You see, the air traffic controller cannot control which planes come in or out of his airspace.
Speaker A:He can't do that, she can't do that.
Speaker A:But he can control which ones he allows to land.
Speaker A:This is the same with our thoughts.
Speaker A:This is the same with our imaginations and visions.
Speaker A:We can't necessarily control which thoughts, which imaginations come into our airspace, into our mind, but we can decide which ones we allow the permission to land.
Speaker A:So if something comes to you, it's not sin until you have meditated upon it and received it.
Speaker A:Maybe you have a negative thought about somebody else.
Speaker A:You know what it says that Jesus was tempted in every way and yet did not sin.
Speaker A:Because temptations come in the form of symptoms.
Speaker A:Temptations come in the form of sickness.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:This is, this is really interesting.
Speaker A:You know, these, these things.
Speaker A:The freedom from sickness has been paid for.
Speaker A:But there'll still come a temptation to believe in a symptom.
Speaker A:It will still come.
Speaker A:So temptation is to sin.
Speaker A:What symptoms are to sickness?
Speaker A:Let me say that again.
Speaker A:Temptation is to sin.
Speaker A:What symptoms are to sickness?
Speaker A:They'll come into our airspace, but we do not have to give them permission to land.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:We have, we have, we have authority over these things.
Speaker A:It says here, look, it shows you how to do it.
Speaker A:You cast down imaginations in every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
Speaker A:Why is it exalting itself against the knowledge of God?
Speaker A:Because it's rubbing up against the truth.
Speaker A:The symptom is rubbing up against the truth.
Speaker A:And it's trying to replace truth with itself with that lie.
Speaker A:It's trying to say that knowledge that is trying to challenge the knowledge of God on the inside of you.
Speaker A:This is why it's really important to be established in the truth of God's word from the, on the inside of us.
Speaker A:And, and in this ministry, we are very intent on giving you tools to help you to come to a place where the word of God is established in you.
Speaker A:If you didn't know, we have a whole free Bible college that you can go to.
Speaker A:It's called Power Academy.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:You just need your email to sign up.
Speaker A:We have like 8,000 students.
Speaker A:Go to our website, look for Power Academy, become a student, his videos, courses, instructors, notes, all kinds of stuff on there.
Speaker A:But that's because we need to have the knowledge of God on the inside of us.
Speaker A:It's only the truth that we know that can set us free.
Speaker A:You know, the truth will set you free, but only the truth you know is going to set you free.
Speaker A:So make sure you do that.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:It says, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
Speaker A:Every thought.
Speaker A:Well, how do we do that?
Speaker A:Well, this is how I do this.
Speaker A:This is how I get a grip.
Speaker A:We're talking today, if you're just joining us, we're talking today about grabbing a hold of healing.
Speaker A:First of all, you know, there's a few things we've got to know.
Speaker A:The truth, we've got to be established in the truth and replace lies with truth.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:We've got to get a vision for our future.
Speaker A:We've got to See beyond the circumstances.
Speaker A:See beyond where we are right now.
Speaker A:See ourselves as having a future.
Speaker A:See ourselves as healed.
Speaker A:And then number three, we've got to get a grip of our thoughts and bring them into line into the obedience of Christ.
Speaker A:And the scripture says we do that by taking them captive.
Speaker A:Well, that's an interesting picture, isn't it?
Speaker A:Taking your thoughts captive.
Speaker A:To take something captive is literally to put it in jail.
Speaker A:To be a captive is to be put in jail.
Speaker A:You know, one of the interesting things that Jesus in his manifesto in Luke 4:18, he says he's come to set at liberty the captives, those who are captive.
Speaker A:He's come to set you free from the lie of sickness with the truth of healing.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:And this is really important.
Speaker A:So how do we take our thought captive?
Speaker A:Well, we have to isolate it.
Speaker A:We have to isolate that thought.
Speaker A:We have to first of all, recognize, identify that thought as.
Speaker A:And find out where it's come from.
Speaker A:Find out where it's come from.
Speaker A:So, you know, and this doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing, you know, thoughts.
Speaker A:I put them into three categories.
Speaker A:They're the good, the bad, or the ugly.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:The good ones come from God.
Speaker A:The bad ones are from the enemy, and the ugly ones are usually from our flesh.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So, I mean, you may have a different way of categorizing thoughts, but that really works for me.
Speaker A:The good, the bad, and the ugly.
Speaker A:The good from God, the bad from the devil, and the ugly from my flesh.
Speaker A:But, you know, we are always thinking.
Speaker A:Our brain is always.
Speaker A:And I said it's about women always going multiple different directions at once, normally.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:And so when those thoughts come to us, we can isolate a thought and trace it back to where it came from.
Speaker A:Trace it back.
Speaker A:People often put this in the.
Speaker A:In the context of trying to hear the voice of God, because when we hear God on the inside of us, it comes as a thought.
Speaker A:We hear him on the inside, not on the outside.
Speaker A:And the voice of God on the inside sounds like you.
Speaker A:So how do we know if it's.
Speaker A:If.
Speaker A:If that voice that we're hearing is.
Speaker A:Is from God leading us, or whether it's from our own flesh?
Speaker A:When we trace it back, this is part of how we take our thoughts captive.
Speaker A:We look back and find the origin of it.
Speaker A:So if you're sitting in church on Sunday and your stomach starts rumbling, and before you know it, you've forgotten what the preacher is saying, you're not listening to the sermon anymore, you're kind of making your lunch plans, you know, you think, how did I get to making my lunch plans from.
Speaker A:From listening to this sermon?
Speaker A:Well, you weren't listening.
Speaker A:What happening was you had something physical.
Speaker A:Your stomach was rumbling.
Speaker A:And then it gave you a suggestion.
Speaker A:It gave you a thought.
Speaker A:That symptom on the inside of your body, that very natural human symptoms, it produced a response in you, and you started to think upon it, and you started to think, oh, my stomach's rumbling.
Speaker A:I must be hungry.
Speaker A:That's the truth that's been established in you.
Speaker A:From a child.
Speaker A:When you're hungry, your tummy rumbles.
Speaker A:Okay, well, I'm hungry because my tummy rumbles.
Speaker A:Therefore I need to respond.
Speaker A:I need to go feed it.
Speaker A:And you see how your thoughts then go towards, where should we go for lunch?
Speaker A:Or what should we have?
Speaker A:Should we go home and cook something?
Speaker A:Should we go out and get something?
Speaker A:Should we go with other people?
Speaker A:Should we just get a snack by ourselves?
Speaker A:You start to follow that train of thought.
Speaker A:You know, when you isolate a thought on the inside of you and trace it back, you can figure out where it came from.
Speaker A:Well, hang on a minute.
Speaker A:I don't think the Lord is telling me I should go to lunch.
Speaker A:I think that was my own flesh because I had a symptom.
Speaker A:If it's the Lord speaking to you.
Speaker A:Oftentimes when the Lord thoughts and imaginations are from the Lord, you know, they've given us some instruction or they're affirming something on the inside of us, or they're showing us where to go, or they're protecting us from something, right?
Speaker A:And we can trace it back and think, hey, man, I don't know where that came from.
Speaker A:That just kind of popped into my head.
Speaker A:Well, that's an indication that that could be the Holy Spirit, not your flesh that's talking to you because it doesn't have a traceable path, you know, but the enemy, he tries similar tricks, and so he'll pop something into your head.
Speaker A:And it's always going to be negative, remember?
Speaker A:Because the fruit of a lie is always negative.
Speaker A:The fruit of a truth is usually usually positive.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Or instructional.
Speaker A:And so we can trace it back.
Speaker A:I like to look at it this way.
Speaker A: In John: Speaker A:Is this the end?
Speaker A:Let me start again.
Speaker A: John: Speaker A:But Jesus came to give them life and life more abundantly.
Speaker A:So we can take our thought captive.
Speaker A:We can isolate it.
Speaker A:Maybe.
Speaker A:Let's use an example.
Speaker A:Maybe you've got a doctor's report.
Speaker A:And the doctor says, you know, you've got six months to live.
Speaker A:This case is terminal.
Speaker A:Whatever.
Speaker A:You've got six months to live.
Speaker A:Well, you can take that thought and you can say to it, hang on, where, where did that, where did that come from?
Speaker A:Because it's not just somebody's report that's come to me now.
Speaker A:I've heard it and it's gone into my mind and now it's starting to.
Speaker A:To give me dreams and it started to give me visions, and it's starting to try to dictate my future, that it's not very long, that I'm going to die in six months.
Speaker A:You, you know, it's trying to.
Speaker A:It's trying to cause you to make plans on the inside that aren't.
Speaker A:That aren't in line with the word of God.
Speaker A:So now what do we do with that thought?
Speaker A:What do we do with that images?
Speaker A:Well, we say, okay, I'm going to measure that.
Speaker A:I'm going to take that captive.
Speaker A:I'm going to put it into the jail cell of my mind, right?
Speaker A:I'm not just going to let it roam around in my head and cause all kinds of destruction.
Speaker A:I'm going to isolate.
Speaker A:Now, we are taking our thoughts captive.
Speaker A:I'm going to grasp a hold of that thought by the throat.
Speaker A:If it's cancer, if it's death, if it's fear, you grab it by the throat, right?
Speaker A:And you say, okay, now I'm going to judge you.
Speaker A: dge you according to the John: Speaker A:Well, Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly.
Speaker A:Okay, salt.
Speaker A:Are you coming to give me life and life more abundantly?
Speaker A:I don't see that.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:You're presenting me with death and fear and anxiety and pain in my body.
Speaker A:I don't see that.
Speaker A:Okay, let's take it over here then.
Speaker A: the second part of that John: Speaker A:Have you come to kill, steal and destroy from me?
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker A:I would say all of those three things were wrapped up in that.
Speaker A:In that prognosis.
Speaker A:Therefore, I know that that thought is straight from the pit of hell.
Speaker A:It's not from my flesh.
Speaker A:My flesh didn't just imagine those symptoms.
Speaker A:My flesh just didn't, you know, imagine that prognosis.
Speaker A:You know, that it.
Speaker A:That that prognosis came from the pit of hell.
Speaker A:Therefore, I'm going to cast down that imagination.
Speaker A:I'm going to cast doubt, and I'm going to make it become subject and come into, as the scripture says in second Corinthians.
Speaker A:Ten, it says, bring it into the obedience of Christ.
Speaker A:In other words, I'm taking.
Speaker A:And now I've identified where it's from and I've measured it up, and I found out it's from the enemy.
Speaker A:I'm gonna.
Speaker A:I'm gonna measure it up.
Speaker A:All of the power that it's threatening me with, because that's what the enemy will do.
Speaker A:He's trying to get right here in your face, right?
Speaker A:He's trying to threaten you and intimidate you.
Speaker A:I'm gonna measure that thing up.
Speaker A:In light of the cross.
Speaker A:In light of the cross.
Speaker A:Okay, that prognosis, that whatever it was was gonna take me out in six months and cause me all kinds of horrible symptoms and end my future, I'm going to measure up to the cross.
Speaker A:What does the word say?
Speaker A:Hang a second.
Speaker A:Well, in that scripture, in Acts 2 that Carly just read, it says that.
Speaker A:That it was not possible that death could hold Jesus in the grave.
Speaker A:In that case, then, in light of the cross, this.
Speaker A:This thought, this prognosis, this report from the enemy, this symptom that's in my body, it's not possible.
Speaker A:It's absolutely impossible that this thing can take me to the grave and hold me there.
Speaker A:You know what we've done?
Speaker A:We've taken our thoughts captive in that moment.
Speaker A:We've brought them into the subjection, into obedience to the obedience of Christ.
Speaker A:We have judged them, we have condemned them, and we have dismissed them.
Speaker A:Man, this is powerful.
Speaker A:These three things will help you to grab a hold of healing and let go of the lie of sickness.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Well, I hope that you got something good from that today.
Speaker A:I do want to take time and pray for your prayer requests.
Speaker A:So let's take them on.
Speaker A:Let's pray.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that you have given us the power to resist the enemy, that you've given us authority over sickness and of disease.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that you are our helper, you're our comforter, you're our counsellor, you're our armed defense, you're our triumph, you're our victory.
Speaker A:You're our healer.
Speaker A:You're our king, Lord.
Speaker A:You're our risen savior.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that you have risen from the grave, that you have defeated death itself, that it was impossible for the power of death to hold you in the grave.
Speaker A:That death has lost its strength.
Speaker A:Sting.
Speaker A:And right now, over our bodies, we just declare that sickness, that disease that's trying to invade us.
Speaker A:You are In.
Speaker A:You're an imposter.
Speaker A:You do not have the power to hurt us.
Speaker A:You do not have the power to take us to the grave.
Speaker A:Right now, we strip you of your power.
Speaker A:We strip you of your.
Speaker A:Your intimidation.
Speaker A:We strip you of.
Speaker A:Of fear and anxiety.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, we command every symptom, every sickness, every disease to leave every body cell right now.
Speaker A:In the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Leave.
Speaker A:In the name of Jesus right now.
Speaker A:Cancer, we curse you.
Speaker A:We command you to die at the root.
Speaker A:To shrivel up from the very smallest cell to the tip of the tentacle.
Speaker A:Right now, we curse you, Cancer.
Speaker A:In every part of the body, I command lungs to open up, to breathe in fresh air.
Speaker A:I command hearts to beat again in regular rhythm.
Speaker A:Eyes to come back to life and see with fresh vision.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, we command ears to hear.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:That spine to straighten up, to come into alignment.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:We bring those vertebrae back into alignment.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, we command a straightening of the spine through every single one of those vertebrae all the way down to the tailbone.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:We push.
Speaker A:There's a part of the brain that's receiving pressure.
Speaker A:There's a deformity in the brain where the brain is being pushed out of.
Speaker A:A deformity in the skull and it's pressing on nerves right now.
Speaker A:I command that brain to shift back into position.
Speaker A:We command it to be exactly where it should be.
Speaker A:We release the pressure.
Speaker A:Somebody's got a pressure point in the body, either in the back of the neck there or in the spine in the vertebrae.
Speaker A:And we command.
Speaker A:We command that pressure to be released.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lou.
Speaker A:Somebody's feeling a pressure in their knees where their bones are rubbing together.
Speaker A:Clothes crunch.
Speaker A:You actually have noisy joints, not just the knees, but you have.
Speaker A:It's almost like the gravel, like you can hear a crunching like there's gravel in the joint right now.
Speaker A:I command the snapping and the cracking and the popping to stop.
Speaker A:In Jesus name we speak cartilage back into those joints.
Speaker A:In the name of Jesus, we command that pain to leave the numbness, to leave the feeling to return from the root to the tip right now.
Speaker A:Every nerve to become unpressed, uncompressed.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:Circular.
Speaker A:Somebody's had a crumbling of a spine.
Speaker A:I see a crumbling in a.
Speaker A:Bones.
Speaker A:In the small bones, actually.
Speaker A:There are bits that are chipping and breaking, crumbling of the edges of the bones in the back.
Speaker A:But not just in the back.
Speaker A:There's other bones in the body, the hip sockets.
Speaker A:There's.
Speaker A:There's Things that have just worn around the is.
Speaker A:They've worn down like they've wore.
Speaker A:Wore out too soon.
Speaker A:Right now we command those to be renewed, to be refreshed, to be.
Speaker A:To thank you.
Speaker A:He write, there's a covering.
Speaker A:I see a covering on the.
Speaker A:On the sock in a socket of a joint.
Speaker A:A covering of the end of the bone that was pitted, but now it's becoming all smooth again.
Speaker A:All nice and smooth again.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Those.
Speaker A:Those bones, those ball and socket joints, we command them to move in place easily, freely.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, we command that rotator cuff to be.
Speaker A:That.
Speaker A:That tearing to be mended back together like there was never a tear visible.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:Somebody has had bright spots showing up on the MRI where there's tears and regrowth and different things going on.
Speaker A:Right now.
Speaker A:I command those MRIs to repent in Jesus name, to show the truth of healed body of.
Speaker A:A healed body of.
Speaker A:I see this word, these two words on your medical report, and it says marked improvement.
Speaker A:There is a marked improvement.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that you have been marked for improvement.
Speaker A:You need to say that right now.
Speaker A:If that belongs to you, say, I have a marked improvement.
Speaker A:I have been marked for improvement.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A:I command bone spurs.
Speaker A:There's an overgrowth.
Speaker A:I see these overgrowth of bits of knobbly bits of bone in the back of the heel, which causes problems and pain in the feet.
Speaker A:But also there's been a real overgrowth of cells in the body that's resulted in tumors and, and cysts, lipomas.
Speaker A:Right now we command that overgrowth to stop.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, somebody's had an injury that's caused a lipoma to push out from the skin.
Speaker A:Right now we command the overgrowth to be broken down.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.

Speaker A:They're just imploding.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus that the sound of the word of God has an effect on the inside of these cells.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:There's new cells.
Speaker A:I see new cells that are.
Speaker A:That are turning back on, that have become dormant.
Speaker A:There's some dormant cells in the body that are coming back to life.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker A:This could be hereditary, but also part of a treatment.
Speaker A:I see a treatment that somebody has been through that has damaged your bone density right now.

Speaker A:For the.
Speaker A:And he also said the resources are going with it.

Speaker A:Thank you Jesus.
Speaker A:Lord, we receive that strength into our body.
Speaker A:We receive those talents into our ability sections.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord, that you give us new abilities to do things.

Speaker A:I speak to circulation and I command the circulation to be circulating.
Speaker A:Somebody has had a problem with circulation.
Speaker A:I think this may have something to do with diabetes, but it's affected the circulation and the nerves in your body and in your extremities.
